I set an appointment for an electrician to help with a lighting issue. Took a day off work and waited. No one came and no one called.  Finally, late afternoon, I called to ask when someone was coming. The man on the phone said he would look into it and have someone call me back. About 30 minutes later I get a text stating Your tech is currently at his 1st call and you will need to reschedule.  I called back and said I wanted to speak with a manager in the office.  A different man said he will get a message to the office and will have someone call me. Nothing.  The next morning I get a call from Kate wanting to reschedule me. I told her I waited all day yesterday, no one showed or even called to let me know. She then told me that she was sorry but there was an emergency and the tech couldn't get here. I told her that someone should have let me know. I waited the entire day and missed work. She kept making excuses, took no responsibility and again asked when I wanted to reschedule. Again, I asked to speak with a manger or supervisor. She said she would have someone call me.  Nope, not a word from anyone. Not a good way to run a business or treat your customers. I will definitely make sure to spread the word.

Really horrible company. They charged $200 to install a $20 smoke detector. Charged $500 for an unnecessary panel tune up.  Look anywhere else!!

This company will cut corners, put your home at risk and more.  I am the plaintiff in a lawsuit against them and I would advise using caution when choosing this company.

I would avoid this place. They installed a tesla charger for me and their piping is completely warped only 1.5 years later. Conveniently outside of the 1-year warranty. The first technician that came out said Mr. Electric should pay for it since it seemed like a product quality issue. The manager got mad at that tech and they sent out another tech who said they want to completely re-do the installation, which would run me close to another $1000. Completely unprofessional people.

This company is Garbage. I set my first appointment for last week and 30 minutes before they were supposed to arrive I get a call saying that they're running behind so she asked me if they could please reschedule. I went ahead and agreed for today  which was 7 days later. Not only did they not show between their window of 8 AM and 11am I had to call them and find out what was going on? I let the lady that answered the phone know that this was unacceptable and unprofessional and I will be waiting for a callback on their ETA?? . I get a call back by a man named Mike that said to me that they were located in Franklin and they hardly come out to Murfreesboro. First of all WHY  he was telling this to me was surprising.   if they Hardly  come this way then why book my appointment last week and then reschedule for this week. This was a total waste of time and I have no intention on ever doing business with them again I let the man know that they were a joke and this is no way to run a business.

I contacted Mr Electric to install replacement smoke detectors and diagnose a problem with a chandelier.  Between George (?last name) and Jose Hernandez, they completed the jobs to our satisfaction. Both were professional, personable, and on time.

We would consider Mr Electric for future work.

Bought a new chandelier and need it changed out with the old one. They were super flexible about service times. The installation price was extremely reasonable in my opinion and George was super patient to help me get the length of the fixture where I wanted it!

The Service Tech, Brandon whom serviced you is no longer with us and did not represent Mr. Electrics code of values.  Even among this pandemic, people still find ways to vomit and hurt small businesses.  We don't appreciate it. - From Mr. Electric

This is their response to my review, which only proves the point that they acknowledge their tech was not qualified to do the job.  Why would I want to have to wait for another unqualified person to try to repair the damage they had already done?  As a small business owner myself I always try to support and be as reasonable as possible to other small businesses.  They on the other hand do not, and then they send offensive follow-up emails.  If they don't like a bad review, they should offer quality service and followup.  We tried hard to let them make things right by offering to meet them in the middle by just having them replace the light fixture their guy ruined, and they did not.  Not really sorry to be writing this review.

Hello, my personal experience with Mr. Electric was they are quick and realiable able to work around any schedule changes needed, the electricians are respectful, & great people! I give them a thumbs up  Highly recommend them and their great technicians, they attend all your Electrical and service needs & questions.

Just a Complete mess, if I could give them zero stars I would!!!! I made my appointment and they called to confirm and had all my information wrong. Their answering service called and texted me every day and I had to give out and confirm my information. The moved my appointment twice and only until I told the answering service I would not deal with them anymore did they connect me with Patty directly at Mr. Electric. She assured me that I would get my ceiling fan installed with no problem and even asked me to send images of my balcony to make sure that the guys would bring the right tools....Well, that didn't happen...

Mike came out and gave me an estimate and asked me when I wanted the fan installed... Shocked as I had been told it would be done that day asked what he was talking about and that I made the appointment to have it done that day... He assured me that he and his team would be back at 3:30 to complete the job...Fast forward to 8 pm and they are still at my house because they did not have the right items and the one guy just sat around talking to me the whole time while his partner worked!

They assured me that they would go get the missing parts and be back to install that night but the one guy did not show up till 11 pm and at that time no work was able to be done because it was dark out... SO we arranged that he would come back to my condo at 7 am to finish the job that they charged me an additional $200 for...THAT did not happen. At 7:30 I called and no one answered and then I texted at 8 am asking the eta. At 8:30 I called the supervisor to ask where the other guy was and got no response. Then the guy called me and told me that he might be getting arrested and something about the cops and that he would be by latter. Needless to say, I told him don't worry about it and called the supervisor who then tried to make this all my fault by stating that they tried to get it done and that they didn't really know what the job was going to take and that he was worried about letting me down...

Well, Mr. Electric don't overpromise and underdeliver and give people the runaround and then try to jack up the prices and then never complete the work. I would NOT recommend that ANYONE do business with them as they charged me for the full amount for work that was never done and I am still trying to get my money back!

I gave them too many chances to fix this situation and got burned :(

Called on Monday to schedule an appointment. Friday was the earliest they could come.  Scheduled time was between 11 and 2.   At 2 o'clock I get a phone call saying they could not come.  No attempt to contact me before after blowing my whole day waiting for them.  Use another provider.

Jamey is at my house currently. Nice guy but good grief he took an hour and a half to even begin the very simple project I had (Replace a single outlet and switch). Proceeded to quote me $255 for an inspection of an outlet, which is just absurd. That $255 is before any repairs required for the simple outlet fix. Find ANY other service in Nashville because they have better values.

This is my second time hiring Mr. Electric and I am more than pleased with their service. I was able to get an appointment on my desired day. The electrician arrived earlier than expected and was a cool dude. I had a push button door light switch replaced in my pantry. He made quick work of it and ran to home Depot to get the switch. I live in Murfreesboro and was surprised he made it to my house at 8:30. I didn't expect anyone till at least 9. He called ahead and gave me a 30 minute advance notice. Mr. Electric is my go to for electric needs!

If I could give 0 stars I would. They set appointments in 3 hour increments so you have to take off work basically half a day to be home. They cancelled the first appointment on that date, they didn't show for the second appointment and on the third appointment today I just learned after waiting around all afternoon again and calling them that they will not be coming. This company is a joke. After missing two appointments you think they would have made me appointment with them a priority today. They could care less.

I was robbed by them due to my lack of knowledge with electrical codes and inspection. The estimator led me down the path of the most expensive option and gave me no other option. I later found out that they could have done the job to pass inspection for far less money; they sold me a bunch of junk I didn't need and acted like the city government requires it. They charged me over $1,600 to run a wire for an above ground pool 25 feet. The box was only 25 feet from there. So 25 ft of wire and 3 receptacles was all they did for over $1,600! They charged me $327 for an electrical permit and I later found out that the permit only costs $76 with the metro codes department. I was railroaded. I know...buyer beware. Just trying to make sure I save someone else a ton of headaches and money by using a different company.

Not exactly 24/7- mainly am answering service for a service aggregator.

No one ever called after i checked twice.

Couldn't even get a price range. Hard pass
