We are a family owned and operated business located in Franklin, Tennessee. We provide residential, commercial and industrial electrical services to the Greater Nashville area. While Paul gives focus to the technical operations of the company, Kathy makes certain that the company's administrative operations and customer service are top of the line and truly nothing short of electrifying.

I called Gervias about a bad dryer outlet that was pouring smoke!! I spoke with Kathy, who was very nice and even called me back to make sure I turned off the breaker to avoid a fire(which tells me they care). The gentleman arrived early, in a well marked van and was in and out in under an hour. He covered the old outlet, parts(new wire, outlet, and plug) and plates for $150. On top of it, everyone I dealt with at that company was SUPER nice and helpful. I don't think I have ever given 5 stars to anyone!

First contacted Gervais Electric to have a outlet installed in my basement to charge my Tesla. Was given a date and time a few days in the future. I called the day before to confirm the appointment was still on as planned. Was told Something happened to my paperwork, so they moved it to the next week on 9/9/19 Monday at 8am. I stayed home from work to meet with the electrician. 8am came with no phone call letting me know he was running late or even on his way. At 8:15am I called and talked to the office manager who said I told him to call you when he was on his way! I'll call him and call you back. At 8:30am I got a call from the electrician saying he would be there 5 till 9, so an hour after the time he was supposed to be there. I told him to cancel the call and I would go to another company.
Really disappointing after hearing such great reviews.

Highly recommend. I was super impressed with this company. They arrived on time every time, were friendly & honest and did great work. They even cleaned up after themselves. Their bid was fair (time + materials), given the length of out to-do list. They worked hard and fast - no dilly-dallying. And when it was all said and done the price was more than fair for what we had done. Great experience!!

I would not recommending using Gervais Electric. They took 5 days to do a 2 day job (that they quoted). The owner Paul Gervais was extremely rude and left the job site to attend to other clients. My bill ended up being 200% more than the original quote. Very disappointed.

I was looking for a local electrician to add another outlet in my house. I looked on Yelp and saw a positive review for Gervais Electric. I decided to give them a try. They just got finished performing the service and I have to say what an awesome company to deal with. From Naomi on the phone scheduling the service, to Rick and Harry the technicians that came out to my house... FANTASTIC service and I would absolutely use them again.

They overcharge and do shoddy work. The guy that came to install new fixtures was in such a hurry to get done & leave that one fixture was hanging half way out of the ceiling when I got home! Then they billed me for two hours that he wasn't there working cause he reported to the boss he was working til 5 but actually left my house at 3! Would not recommend this company.

A team of two electricians, John and Jeremy, came out on one day's notice -- even arrived a bit early -- and fixed my outdoor outlet in about an hour, after checking three circuit breaker boxes and testing. They checked all the other outdoor outlets to make sure they worked, and explained the whole process to me, then charge a very reasonable fee for parts and labor. Both technicians were extremely pleasant and informative, really nice to deal with. The office staff was, also.

We scheduled an appointment with Gervais a week in advance and I delayed going to work on the scheduled day in order for them to show up at the allotted time. They missed the appointment time by 30 minutes at which point I had to call their office and find out if they were even showing up. They said a tech had called in sick and they would arrive in about 45 minutes (even after 30 minutes we waited). No prior notice or communication was ever given that they would be late. When the electrician (and co-worker) finally arrived, we explained our situation-- that we needed to replace our broken oven/microwave combination with two new units and wanted them to make sure we didn't need another circuit run in order to use the new units. We even provided the power specifications for the two new units. The electrician looked at the specs, checked our electric box and said we were fine and didn't need anything... taking less than 2 minutes checking everything. Fast forward to the installation date for the new oven/microwave items... the installer removed the old ones only to tell us that we needed another electrical circuit run (which would cost upwards of $5000 due to finished drywall in place) in order to install the new appliances. The tardiness and lack of communication about being late is bad enough, but the obvious incompetence means I will NEVER use this company again. RUN, RUN, RUN to other electricians as this company is a joke.

Best Electricians in Nashville! I have worked with contractors for over 30 years on various projects. Gervais Electric is one of the best I have ever dealt with. They have done work on my personal home as well as for clients. They are very careful and always clean up after their work. I replaced several light fixtures and added some exterior outlets in our screened in porch, and moved a chandelier to center it. The light fixtures had hundreds of tiny glass pieces and the big one was 16 feet in the air. Just beyond impressed with their care and attitude. Thank you Gervais for being exceptional!
