Car charger install went great.  Electrician worked quickly and efficiently and I could tell he knew what he was doing.  Install looks solid, would recommend.

So, I needed an electrician to install what is a fairly simple item.  A 50amp plug with 4 prongs.  I should have known it was going to be a disappointing when the coordinator couldn't even understand what I was asking to have done...it took over 45 minutes to make the appointment.  The coordinator was supposed to have sent me an email so I could respond with a picture of the necessary outlet.  I never received the email.  Yes, I checked my spam/junk folder.  The appointment was supposed to be from 8-10am 19 SEP 2022...the electrician showed up at after 12:30...then didn't have the correct stuff..so had to go somewhere...which he charged full price on...so, it was over $500 to have a 50amp plug installed less than 6ft from the breaker box....after being hours late.

I will not recommend this company.

I had a poor experience with Bates electrical. Had a tech come out to look at rewiring a Fiber cable through the attic. There is a $125 charge for them to come out. He looked at it and said it would not be easy and that he recommended I did NOT do it as it would be too difficult. He was there 15 minutes and I got charged $250 for the 15 minutes he was there. I guess they charged an extra hour (rounded up) of labor on top of the trip charge. I felt very taken advantage of. Even the tech said if it were his decision he wouldn't charge for such a short visit. I understand the initial $125 charge because I agreed to it, but the additional $125 just felt greedy.
