I was a customer for several years until June. The company has done my yard cleanup more than a dozen times and has done the queen palms and ficus 3-4 times.

Mike the owner is very knowledgeable about trees! The first time we met, he walked through the yard telling me about all the plants and trees and quoted me a flat rate of $175 to do quarterly cleanup (big trees are extra, once or twice a year.) Wow! So reasonable. He even gave me his cell number. It sounded great. The crew did a great job most of the time, especially on the big trees.

But there was an utter lack of communication from the company, and making appointments was unbelievably difficult. No one answers the office phone, EVER. So I had to leave a message every time. Usually I left 2-3 before I get a return call from the receptionist. I asked many, many times to be put on the schedule every 3 months automatically. This NEVER happened.

At least twice they didn't come at the 3-month mark like I asked, then charged me extra because the plants were overgrown. Once, in their absence my lime tree died. I asked for information on a new one several times over 4 MONTHS before getting a call back. By then I was fed up so I didn't bother returning the call.

The last job they will ever do for me was in June, 2 months late, and the job was sloppy. NONE of it was done the way we agreed on, the way they had cut it for years, and one 18 sq ft section was missed entirely. The company blamed me for not answering the door to tell them what I wanted. My absence had never been a problem before.

THEN I received the January & June receipts at the same time for $250 and $300. The $300 receipt mentioned my ficus, which they didn't even touch. When I asked about the amount I was told the cost of business was going up, and that actually we are charging all customers a $300 minimum. I said I would not pay more than the previously agreed amount of $175 for each cleanup. I was politely told I would receive a refund.

In her emails and on the phone the receptionist repeatedly said Mike wasn't able to get ahold of you or meeting with you has been a problem. She even wrote something to this effect on some of the receipts. Like trying to make me feel bad for that one unreturned phone call about the tree. Mike never called or emailed me before or since that one call. The office didn't call unless they were returning my umpteenth voicemail. No one ever asked me to be home during the cleanups or complained when I wasn't. I responded to their emails the same day, and paid promptly upon request. And certainly no one EVER tried to talk to me about a rate increase. So I have no idea what (or even when) she was referring to, or why she would keep bringing it up, and I think it's really rude.

I am dismayed at the five-star reviews here. I WISH I'd had a five-star experience. It would have saved a lot of headaches (and probably my lime tree.)

Had several estimates from companies and decided on their service. The price was excellent and I was informed when they would be out to remove a mesquite(overgrown) in the front yard. Showed up on time, excellent professional work and complete cleanup of the property. Finished in an hour and provided me with some nice firewood to use in the future. Next on my to do list, palms in the back yard.

Great job cutting our palms. On time, polite and did a great job! Will definitely call again.

I have nothing but positives to say about Eric and The Ultimate Tree Service.  

Eric has been servicing my home in south Tempe for the past two years and has done a wonderful job of keeping the trees neatly shaped, trimmed away from the house/roof, and also trims + skins the palm trees.

Eric is very responsive to phone calls and provides top notch customer service.  A recent example of this is that I had a large cactus topple over during the recent heavy rainstorms.  I called Eric on Sunday afternoon and he came out first thing Monday morning to assess and figure out a solution.

Despicable scum. Their cherrypicker just pulled our phone line down while I was underneath it. The driver and crew were well aware, and still sped off...I wonder why? I can't imagine using such a dangerous and careless company for landscaping.

Eric and his team were awesome! They did a great job and very reasonable price for tree trimming. Eric was such a great guy to talk with you and will come out and give you an honest estimate. You pay for what you want and doesn't try to get you to do or add more to your budget. Thank you Eric!

These guys did a fantastic job - fair pricing, quick, efficient, and on time. What more could you ask for?

Juan is great! He came out the same day. He diagnosed, and repaired in a few hours.
I will use him again in the future.

I contacted Sergio's Lawn services for a quote and asked them to come out to look at our property  And other services we may have. I spoke to Frank and he assured me that they will be out on Saturday between 12 and 1:00 p.m.. Saturday came and went and he stated he left are phone number in his office and could not contact us so we made another appointment for him to come out today which is Tuesday August 28th after 1:00 p.m. it is now 3:00 p.m. and he has not shown up as of yet come to find out he is still at another location and he did not contact us to tell us he will not be showing up today. I decided to let him know we do not need his services. I will not be contacting this service.  It is very hard to find a reputable lawn service company in Arizona that will keep their word.

Can anyone recommend someone that is highly reputable and honest?

The 3 person team arrived early but that was ok.  I asked the price and after a bit of communication issues was given an hourly rate.  I have a very small front & back yard.  They rang the door 35 minutes later for their money and I was told I owed for a full hour ($95).  When l talked to the owner nothing was said about a minimum charge. They would have bad a repeat client had They been honest.

The men who came were prompt and worked quickly. However the price I was quoted was for an hour, and chemical that would treat the yard for 6 months. They charged me for a full hour even though they only worked for half that time, and after 3 weeks the weeds were coming back. I called to complain and they said I only paid for chemical that killed what it touched. I explained that I was given a price for treatment to take care of the yard for several months, and his response was, We don't treat with pre-emergent in that time of year. I don't recommend these guys at all.

Sergio's crew did a great job!! I needed them quickly after I had some tenants move out and they were able to accommodate my schedule and did a fantastic job on cleaning up our backyard and even exceeded my expectations. They then came back the next day and spread 10 tons of rock in my backyard. Highly recommend! Excellent job and very accommodating. Thanks Sergio!

Bob White came yesterday 12/7/17 gave me an estimate to remove tree from backyard. Said he could have a crew first thing the next morning. Crew arrived on schedule went to work. Removal made mess of the pool, crew cleaned the pool as part of their clean up procedure. Completely satisfied beyond expectation with Aachen Tree Service. Highly recommend.

The team of Garnicas Landscaping did an amazing job!!!!! I had a great deal of overgrown weeds and bushes that needed trimming. They did such a great job. I will be hiring them again. I am posting before and after pictures. Thanks again, gentlemen!

Not professional at all, showed up late than the appointment time, then increased his price which we still agreed to it, stated that he will start today, then we waited for him to call when he will be done but to discover that he never did actually work on the property to begin with, when called him and asked 4 different times why wasn't there work done and finally getting an answer out of him was completely non  sense.
I would not recommend, please check after anyone, he thought he could fool us...

We have an African Sumac tree that was very overgrown. We called to have a branch removed and the tree thinned. They were very responsive and affordable. The whole crew were very nice and professional. They did such an amazing job so efficiently that we are going to have an oleander and another tree removed. I highly recommend them!

Crappy company that leaves flyers all over the place for it to blow around. Will never do business with a company that has these poor business practices.

I've had them out 4 times to feed 4 palms and paid for additional stuff like manganese, etc. They are punctual and very pleasant but they will not stand behind their work. 3 of the palms they fed did not improve in their appearance and one deteriorated despite the feedings and extras. When I asked them to treat that tree at no charge since they touted their feedings would make it do better, they absolutely would not do it. Instead, they tried to sell me additional services. A business that won't stand by their work or their word is not a business I can trust and give my money to.

Sabatian helped me prune a lemon tree that had broken because of over production of fruit. Came same day and was extreamly great in all areas!

I wouldn't even give this company one star, but a rating is required apparently. We called to have them come out to give us an estimate for a full yard cleanup, and then to continue (if the price was right) bi-weekly for maintenance. Made an appointment for 1pm, waited for an additional 15 minutes before WE called back to see if they were lost or something. They say they will be a little bit late, closer to 3pm. Sorry, but that is not a little bit later, that is 2 full hours later, and the only reason we found this out is because WE called them. They should have let us know if they couldn't make it at 1pm.
Even after this, we decided to go ahead and wait until 3pm. Wouldn't you know it, 3pm comes and goes and no phone call. We ended up staying until 6:30 pm with no phone call from Sergio's Lawn Service letting us know anything about their whereabouts. Horrible company and even worse customer service. They lost out on a big job - this was for one of our rental properties and we had 3 other houses we were going to give them as well. Big $ lost out for them. Look elsewhere for good customer service....what a waste of time....
