Found them on yelp and so glad I did! Garnicas landscaping came out and gave us a quote and arrived the next day to clean up our front and backyard! Very quick and professional! And you can't beat the price! Will be using them again!

GARNICAS' guys are the best. They were quick to respond to my initial inquiry and did not hesitate to give me a quote and ask for my preferred service date. They notified me 1/2 before arrival, arrived on time and politely and professionally verified what was expected. They worked together well, were fast, efficient and thorough. Have decided to keep them coming back regularl. I.would happily recommend them to anyone seeking premium service at a very reasonable price.

I had an appointment scheduled with this company and they failed to show up.  They didn't even bother to call me. Very unprofessional and unreliable.  Hopefully, this doesn't happen to you.

Requested a quote and got an immediate response. Very reasonable pricing. They showed up early on the day we decided on. We had a lot of landscaping to do on overgrown trees, bushes, and palm trees. They did an amazing job! Our yard looks great now! Will definitely be hiring them back for future needs.

Randy is a certified arborist.  He did an excellent job pruning our overgrown mesquite tree.  He explained everything very well.  He is reliable and his work is very reasonably priced.   Highly recommend him.

Randy Perkins is the owner of this business and offered to give me an estimate to trim my large mesquite tree in the front of my house.   I was already sitting on a couple of estimates with companies that I didn't feel quite comfortable with.  Randy's quote wasn't as low as the lowest quote nor as high as the highest quote.  He is in the process of becoming a certified arborist; and as I listened to him tell me the care he uses in pruning trees I was interested in hiring him.  On the date of the appointment, he came to my house within 10 minutes of the scheduled time and began getting set up right away.  He was very careful about safety, wearing a helmet, leather gloves, long pants and shirt with boots, safety goggles, and a harness.  He began on the interior of the tree, cutting away over 3 years of dead wood and opening up the inside of the canopy.  It was clear that he was working not only to make the tree look nice, but to keep it healthy and well-balanced as well.  He then pruned the outside branches of the tree, carefully making corrections to some of the poor pruning that I have done to it over the last few years. He also consulted me before removing a large branch to make sure I was okay with it.  After the work was completed, he cleaned everything up.  Before having him out, I was worried that his price was too high, but after seeing how carefully and thoroughly he did the work, I would be pleased to hire him again and now consider the price fair for the amount of work involved.

Tony's crew was great. They were able to do the job very quickly and everything looks perfect. I will be using them again.

Tony (the owner) did the estimate and comes with his crew to do the work.  I trusted his judgement about how my trees should be trimmed to avoid stressing or damaging them.  He is a certified arborist.  He did everything as discussed and the clean up was excellent.  I will not hesitate to hire him again.

We recently completed our landscape project with Yavapai Landscaping after considering several companies to do the work.  Ted who was our contact for the project listened to what we wanted to create and helped us fine tune all of the details we wanted included.  Hugo and his crew were TOP TIER Artists and their workmanship was 2nd to NONE!!!  I have done many landscape projects over the years and by far this was the most satisfying and finely executed one I have ever done.  I would not hesitate to recommend Ted and his team to anyone looking for PERFECTION!!!  Thank you Team Yavapai!!! :)

We are so happy!!

Just moved to a new build in Chino Valley and needed our entire acre landscaped to help with the quicksand mud that was present. When calling around to get quotes, Nathan got right back to us and was able to come out a couple of days later to discuss the project. He was able to give us a preliminary quote on the spot along with providing a visual of the design via drone photos which was so helpful!

As we are new to the area and had a blank slate to work with, we were a little overwhelmed about what should happen first, how we should prioritize, which plants/trees would thrive, best material options, etc. Once we had our design, he brought out various samples for us to choose from along with the education on differences between products and allowed us to choose pressure free. He really listened and incorporated our wants and we are super happy with the outcome.

Walter and the team were phenomenal! Their #1 priority was to make sure we were happy by having us review the work at various steps. They ALWAYS had smiles on their face and were so pleasant. We implemented a specialty item that was thought about halfway through the project and they took our changes in stride. They asked if it was ok to work from sunup to sundown, (we gave our permission of course) and they were never in our way or bothersome which was much appreciated. I have never seen a team work as hard as they did AND enjoy themselves while doing it!

When missteps happened, which almost always do in projects, either Nathan or the team would bring it up to us before we had a chance to notice and would let us know what they were going to do to remedy the issue. Very trustworthy and accountable.  

It was very important to us to bring in the right trees and plants that would thrive in our area, have diversity and bring in pollinators. Cheyenne took the challenge head on and brought out a plethora of options. After educating me about each plant, she didn't bat an eye when I said no to certain ones or pushed me to accept others.  

We are actually going to miss seeing the guys now that the project is over!

If there were minus stars I would check those. The owner Nathaniel is an arrogant man who does not keep his word. Last June, his crew was sent out and did an unprofessional job without knowledge of proper pruning techniques. They also chopped off 5' Lilac bushes that were beautiful and ones my mother had planted many years ago. When I called to make him aware of that and many other unfinished issues, he said he would have new Lilac bushes planted. He failed to do that and when I recently confronted him regarding that, he said he wouldn't follow through. Can't trust this company or their expertise or lack of. I spent $4600 on the job and am terribly dissatisfied.

Very professional!  Gave me a better idea, which was great, but several of their competitors came in with a much better price.

We chose Yavapai Landscaping upon the recommendation of our neighbors.  We had a large L-shaped lot which did not lend itself to an easy design.  Despite that, Ted Ferris, the business manager and a true visionary, developed a beautiful design within a few days and he incorporated every specific request I had made, e.g., artificial turf and a small pool for our dog, planting areas and a gazebo oriented toward a lovely view of Glassford Hill.  The masterful design included infrastructure to handle water runoff, irrigation, landscape lighting, beautiful handmade trellises and an extraordinary water feature.
    Once we had approved the design, Mr. Ferris put his team to work immediately under the supervision of Hugo Sandoval, and what a pleasure it was to watch their team working together seamlessly.  They worked tirelessly, placing huge heavy boulders and landscape rock and plantings exactly where Mr. Ferris had indicated, often working from sunrise to after sunset.  Candidly I had never seen a team work so hard yet at the same time so efficiently and in such harmony.  They were completely reliable, meticulous and perfectionists in every aspect of their work.
    We could not be happier with the result and would give Mr. Ferris, Mr. Sandoval and Yavapai Landscaping our very highest recommendation.

We've used Yavapai Landscaping on a few projects over the past 2 years and at first they were reliable and the work was good depending on who they sent out (Ryan and LT are great). The guy we worked with to design the back yard (Anthony Doumont) was great but, he left shortly after our project started. The lady in the office at the time, who was very nice, seemed like she was in over her head - no return calls, very poor communication and could not remember us or our project every time we spoke. As a retired fire department employee I liked the idea of supporting this business because the owner is retired fire but, they have really gone downhill over the last year. We gave them one last chance on another project and the guy that came to give the bid said he would have a estimate by end of day. That was last Friday and today is Tuesday. We had to track him down thru the office only to find out they don't even do the work we need done (re-slab our mailbox)! He referred us to someone who couldn't even set up a firm appointment to bid the project. All I can say is either they've gotten too big or the management is not paying attention, either way we won't be wasting our time with them.

I called Wednesday for an estimate and Randy came out on Friday morning. He gave us estimates for removing an ash tree that could not be saved and another that needed trimming and cleaning up. We have a sweet acacia which was completely out of control with many volunteers and no shape. We could not see the main trunk. Randy was here for about 5 hours on Monday and did a very professional job. Our backyard is looking great. I highly recommend Randy and will definitely use his services again.

They started Gung Ho. Anthony, the field estimator, was pleasant and easy to work with. The irrigation and landscaping field workers were great to work with. The schedulers in the office and the office staff are the weakest link. They would schedule times where the workers were to show up only to have no shows over and over. We had two separate jobs we contracted them for and it was a nightmare to get them to come when they said they would come. When my husband called it would directly to voicemail only to not have his calls returned. I called from my phone and they picked up right away. The workers are at the mercy of the office to direct them on when they could go to our home to work on the jobs. Both jobs were drug out and even when we were told the jobs were completed, they were not. The finished product for a swale with rocks was atrocious. We had to ask for Anthony to come back out to see for himself how poor the swale looked. He was shocked. Many times the workers weren't communicated with on exactly what they were supposed to do. We still are waiting on getting our sprinklers to perform correctly. To top things off, when my husband went to review his credit card statement, Yavapai Landscaping charged his credit card without authorization. We do  not recommend them due to the poor work ethics of the office staff, the rude treatment by one of the higher up people (I forgot his name) and the continuous no shows. They are not dependable at all.

This company rocks, great job on my trees!! Fast, reliable & took all trees debris away. Love em!
