I put off having our tile removed because I just couldn't deal with the mess it would leave. Then I heard about dust free tile removal so I immediately started doing the research. DustSharkz was referred to me and now I know why. They were great! Arrived on the day they scheduled and two days later, all the tile in my home was removed. They did a great job!! Even though it wasn't 100% dust free, it was 97% dust free and that was good enough for me. And we didn't have to cover everything or move all of our clothes out of the closet, only the ones that were hanging just above the floor. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I am a very picky person with attention to small details. When I was looking for a bathroom/flooring contractor I vetted rigorously. It's not easy to just allow anyone into your home. I'm sure many others feel the same way, so as you can imagine I only wanted the most skilled & the most trustworthy people to work on my house. Thankfully, I found Alex by doing a Yelp search in my area. I vetted several contractors before finding Alex. All the others just didn't hit the mark for meFrom the very start Alex was very easy to talk to, competent, very well experienced in his line of work & very professional. We did a full bathroom remodel - all gorgeous marble symmetrical from floor to ceiling. We wanted no grout lines & only symmetrical cuts. Alex had 2 guys do the entire bathroom remodel which took several days. I have to say they were truly the most respectful guys. Every morning they would kindly greet us, let us know what they're getting done that day. They were quick to yield & allow me my space anytime I wanted to inspect their work. They laid out plastic throughout our home to walk on. They were clean, tidy & organized. Very respectful of our property. They were not only respectful people, but also very polite which is refreshing to see in the construction industry. More importantly, we were blown away by their precise skill when it came to the perfect marble cuts & leveling of the tile. If I could use one word to describe their work; it's precision. They didn't miss a single detail. Not a single corner, not a single piece. Marble is not an easy stone to work with. Marble is precious & delicate. It requires true craftsmanship done with taste. Alex and his guys were a true testament to that authentic craftsmanship that so many other contractors simply don't understand or care for. If you are considering a bathroom remodel & are like me- someone who wants the best & values trust- you must go to Alex because he & his team will execute that job gracefully.

We also hired them to install all new floors & baseboards. Most people would never know they're laminate because they look & feel like high-end solid floating hardwood. Every piece was perfectly placed & snapped on. They also added a soft material underneath so that the floors are easier on your feet and joints.
All the work they did was done skillfully & timely.

If you've come this far in your vetting process & research looking for a qualified contractor to hire then you need to call Alex. Talk to him about what you have in mind, the ideas you have & show him photos of what you're thinking. He is very competent, has good taste, has an eye for aesthetics, is very easy to talk to, & will also bounce ideas if you need some pointers. He's also very up to date with trends and styles if you're wanting to be pointed in that direction. Any taste or idea, they will be able to help.

I started working with DJ and Bob over a year ago.  They helped get my leaking patio roof fixed on short notice and at a great price and helped connect me with a great landscape designer.  They are friendly, thorough and really take the time to explain and work through details and costs with you.  I can assure you that whatever your standards are, they work to understand and own those standards on your behalf and more.  More importantly, they really work diligently to find people they can depend on to do the work up to their standards and at extremely reasonable prices.  This year we decided to add a fireplace to our home.  It took my wife and I a long time to decide what we wanted and DJ and Bob were extremely patient working with us throughout that process.  You'll see it turned into more than a fireplace (flooring, carpet, a beautifully handcrafted mantel, stone work).  They follow up constantly and inspect every step of the work being done.  I'll let the pictures do the talking, but cannot say enough about how good they are to work with on any project large or small.

VM Stoneworks just installed my new granite countertops in my kitchen and they look fantastic! Victor was very easy to work with, showed up when he was supposed to, and gave me a great deal. The whole process only took about two weeks from start to finish and I am loving my new countertops.

The tile and plumbing job for a remodeled bathroom was completed with precise attention to detail. The prep, and installation of both floor and wall tile were professionally completed. The project remodel looks like the way it should be, Brand New. Wonderful service, and came to work in a timely manner as promised.

Had a busted pipe in between my bathrooms right after Thanksgiving 2022 which was a disaster to get back home to. After water damage repairs I had a few different contractors quote for repairs. Mario was quick to respond and eager to get started even though the insurance haven't gave me funds yet. We went over the job in detail and what would need to be done along with materials. He helped pick up items that were needed from flooring stores or Lowe's without an issue and completed the job within 2 weeks time. Very happy with his work ethic and attitude so I would recommend Navas Remodeling.

Dion and his team installed tile, baseboard, and did a full interior paint.  I didn't know what to expect as it was my first time working with a contractor and getting work done on my home.  I worked with his designer, Monica, who offered great advice for someone who knows very little about design.  By just providing her with my general desire, she came back with various samples to help me decide what I liked most.  The end result was awesome.  It really helped to modernize the whole place.

I was also very happy working with Dion as he was willing to answer all of my dumb questions and address all my concerns since I've never done this process before.  When the project was coming near the end, I was impressed with how much detail Dion looked for in the final workmanship of the project.  He found more nits than I did and made sure his guys got everything on point.  He even got them to address issues that they didn't do and were an artifact of previous work done on the home.

Overall, I would recommend him to friends and I will definitely be working with him again for work on my home.

Sunset Tile & Bath sets the standards high!

The quote the owner gave us was competitive and i had decided to hire him.  But before hiring him i sent an email asking for their license number and two references I received no reply whatsoever. Weird !!!

I had EL Construction come evaluate a patio cover with a rafter succumbing to rot. Eric himself answered promptly, and gave a fair assessment of the repair and the possibility of scope creep and how that would work. When I accepted his quote, he got me scheduled very quickly, and sure enough the scope had to get considerably bigger. The ease of communicating with him made what could be a scary situation much more approachable, and he definitely seemed motivated to treat my home like it was his own.

The project dragged on three days longer than expected, but at every stage it was kept protected from the monsoon elements, and the construction made quick progress. The outcome was an excellent work product, everything looking like new, and a fair final invoice.

I definitely recommend EL Construction for the hard stuff. Eric tells me he can do it all, too, so I'll be reaching back out to him as the projects come up!

I spoke with Nick on the phone and he was professional, kind, and patient as we talked through details and quotes. I wasn't able to go with them in the end because the street near the property couldn't fit their equipment, but they let us know ahead of time because they had done the due diligence, which I really appreciated. They will be the first I call for any future properties!

We needed a number of items attended to at our new house (lights removed and replaced, ceiling fans installed, medicine cabinet installed, door trim repaired, etc). We were referred to Kent and team for a remodel we needed done last minute and in a hurry. The short notice did not concern Kent at all and he was ready to start right away. The team was able to finish everything by the time promised and it looks great! We will be having them come out again for another project very soon.
