CTX Plumbing & Electrical Electrician
I can't recommend CTX highly enough. After a slight mixup, Austin and Adam really came through and did a great install of our home filtration system. Their professionalism really shines through in the way the way the tackle problems and handle customers. If you are looking for reasonable prices with quality workmanship, CTX should be your first call. I would definitely recommend them for any plumbing needs and will be spreading the word to friends and coworkers. Thank you again

Paschal Air, Plumbing & Electric Electrician
I had a faucet that needed to be installed in my kitchen sink. I purchased the high-end faucet, soap dispenser and hole covers (I have a 4 hole sink but just 2 appliances to install). James came out and gave me a quote - he was very professional and friendly. The staff at the office was very communicative and friendly as well. I hired James to do the job and couldn't be happier. The price was competitive, the work was completed in a timely manner and looks great! He cleaned up all the mess (some that wasn't even his!) and left my kitchen looking great. I would definitely recommend Paschal Air and will use them again in the future. Thanks, James and Pascal Air for a job well done!

Baker Brothers Plumbing, Air & Electric Electrician
I'm so mad I didn't check reviews before calling.  I requested a tune up and they quoted me a ridiculously high price to replace an evaporator coil ($3000) and rusted drain pan found during the tune-up.  It was so high, I said I might as well get a new air conditioner!

So he quickly gives me quotes for a new A/C starting at $8,000 and up to $11,000.  Something didn't seem right because I know air conditioner installations are MUCH cheaper than that on average.  He was probably only showing the higher end units.

Thank goodness I went online later to research the evaporator coil repair.  I called around and found someone reputable that would do it for $1500 LESS. I also didn't need a new drain pan as suggested.

I hope Baker Brothers is paying attention to all these reviews.  A few bad reviews is one thing but seems a lot of people seem to have gripes.... and a lot seem to deal with pricing.  That is definitely my biggest gripe.

I had them repair some of the things found during the tune-up and regret it. After more research, I found out I was overcharged for this one hour's worth of work. Lesson learned.

Updated Review:
I will update and say that they did call me back saying there was a mistake in me being charged for the service call and they had refunded my money. I have not checked yet to make sure it was done, but I think they wouldn't go through the trouble if they didn't. In addition a manager called and left a voice mail after seeing my review on here and did say he was sorry for the mix up and asked what they could do to get my business. I think I will try them on my alarm system once my contract is up on the old one because they do offer a lot of extra's with it (hmmm, just read another review on the alarm system...now not so sure, but anyway...). Also I appreciate the fact that someone took the time to respond to my concerns. Most companies would not do that.  As far as the landscape lighting I am still getting estimates but they do seem inline with what most are charging.

Original Review:
Very nice and professional but I just wanted an estimate on some landscape lighting, most places will estimate for free. Not this company. Was not told about the 69.99 service fee just to come talk to me until they were here and went through everything with me. Then gave me a free electrical inspection.  If they had told me on the phone when i called it would be $70.00 for an estimate I would skip. The pricing for the installation wasn't too bad so will still consider them for what I need done and maybe their alarm services, but $70.00 JUST to get an estimate? A little ridiculous if you ask me. They could have spent 5 min telling me what it costs and be done, then I probably would have hired them to do it on the spot. Now I'm getting some more FREE estimates. I wish someone had just told me on the phone I was going to be charged before hand.

A #1 Air Electrician
So upset with A#1 Air.  My husband and I had a central air unit installed by A#1 a couple of years ago for close to $9000.  A#1 Air has been very persistent on doing regular tune-ups and plus items typically have needed worked on from the start -which I am always surprised because it is a fairly new unit .  We did purchase a warranty so most has been covered  so we pay for the many visits.
A year ago our upstairs unit was not cooling in our daughter's room. We didn't want to pay the 6000 or 7000 dollar estimate from A#1 for our upstairs unit (we have a 1.5 story home) so we hired a licensed independent contractor to install a unit or whole system for half the price.  The system has been working completely fine and has for the past year.  A#1 Air came out very recently and did their inspection and then claimed several things were going to occur if we didn't fix our upstairs unit including extremely low freon.  Well, guess what (?!) , the very next day, all those things happened, pipes froze and there was a leak (everything they told us would happen ironically happened the very next day)The air quit blowing cold air attic floor is getting wet from the frozen pipes thawing plus the second guy that came out said it has to thaw and we will get a leak possibly in our ceiling below so of course, we very upset.  We got a call because I told them how upset and all this seemed suspicious.  They said, since I was upset, they would fix for $1500 instead of $3800! Well, we found out the valve on the freon was not tightened so was leaking.  The the original guy that installed the upstairs unit luckily fixed the unit for $120! I just am so unhappy for the stress this has caused and feel like there are very shady practices!!!!
