Best Wiring Repair in Dallas TX

I had a circuit in my home lose power affecting multiple rooms in my home.  Larry reached out to me right away and asked me a few questions and provided some troubleshooting steps for me to try before having an electrician come out.  When those steps failed to fix the problem, he and his son came out the next business day right on time.  They worked very efficiently together, found and fixed the problem (a short in between the rooms that had no power) and replaced a bad breaker that was on a different circuit.  They were very reasonably priced, friendly, and very knowledgeable.  Definitely would use them again!

I'll give a similar review as Gary M.  When we found out our electricity wasn't working in some areas of the house, I called Puckett.  Sure enough, he talked me through it and determined the issue and corrective answer over the phone!  We were having a partial power outage; and that my power people should be contacted (I had never heard of partial power before).  So, Oncor came by and had it fixed the same day!  Thank you for letting me know what was happening to us!

Had three people who claimed to be knowledgeable about electrical & wiring look at my ceiling fan that had quit working & none of them diagnosed the real problem. I knew that whomever originally installed it was also knowledgeable but not smart as they had put it on a standard dimmer switch which isn't designed for fan speed control, but that wasn't the only problem. James said the wire was wrong as well and he had my fan working perfectly in less than an hour and at a reasonable cost as well. Even on small projects, it just pays to go with a pro, not to mention safety considerations when dealing with electrical. I am so glad I found them and will consult them first from now on.

I've actually had them out twice. There were no issues and they did their work as expected. But the reason why I'm giving them a 3 star review instead of a 5 star review is due to some of the billing games they seem to play.  Two examples .

1. Their website offers discounts on service but only if you mention the 10% discount up front at time of booking the service call. Now why would that be necessary? Think about it. The only reason I can think of is so they can make up for it by having their technicians up charge 10% when writing up the bill to make up for it. Do I have proof of that? No I don't. But why else would that be necessary? Im sure they can come up good sounding excuses as to why that would be necessary but most coupons that companies or restraunts  publish do not require notification up front before you get the bill. This company could do the same if they wanted to, but they don't. The only way  the customer can ever know they are getting a true discount is if the customer isn't required to divulge the use of a discount coupon prior to  getting billed. This is what I find a bit sleezy about this company. It reminds me of the way grocery stores forced customers to use their discount cards by insulting the public's intelligence by claiming we are getting true discounts on their groceries when we all know that all the grocery stores did was raise the price of their products prior to the coupon programs  such that by using the discount card simply got you the product at its real original old price .

2. I make it a habit to ask the minimum service fee for a company to come out and provide an estimate. I used this company because their trip fee was reasonable (I consider reasonable which at $35 is very reasonable.) We'll, on their second time out, I never did ask the service desk scheduler about their minimum trip charge cause I already knew it from the first time, but that being said , this was a separate and independent service call from the first one, so I thought I would go ahead and play it safe by confirming their minimum trip charge to provide me an estimate. They told me $155 this time . I was shocked so I had to call in to their service desk to get clarification cause if not, these guys were going to potentially charge me $155 just for a estimate. The lady at the service desk confirms it is only $35 and when I aks her why her workers are tellling me differently , she says the $155 min trip charge would only apply if the workers were to have to spend time using their equipment tools in order to diagnose the problem in order to get an estimate.  When I asked the workers why the heck they are quoting me only the $155 estimate without mentioning  at all about the $35 trip charge option , they became very extremely uncomfortable in an embarrassed way. They had no explanation and did not give me a direct answer . When I then suggested to them that it appeared their company would have charged me $155 trip charge  had I not called HQ about it , not only did they not counter the suggestion , it totally looked like they were embarrassed and their body language was one of heads sunk, a somber look of  I'm sorry. They told me some thing like we only work here and do what we are told. This looks really bad IMHO . I kind of felt sorry for the guys, they seemed like good hearted guys who didn't  like it any more than I did.  

So in a nutshell , I think they are good company in  terms of their service and their know how, and I would hire them again,  but you might want to confirm your minimum trip charge when the workers arrive if you might be only needing a second estimate or a minor repair which might otherwise only cost less than $155 .

Tayler was professional and responsive. He did a great job installing the Tesla wall charger quickly and efficiently. I have other house projects that need an electrician, so I'll be sure to contact them again. I would prefer a more predictable scheduling system so I can plan my other appointments around it for an even more efficient experience, but I am satisfied with the work and fees. I recently moved into my new place and needed someone reasonably priced to install TV's. The guy was able to come in and do amazing work on 2 TV's. He even hid the wires behind the wall to make it presentable. I didn't even know that was possible. He also informed me he does other work such as artwork, curtains, and home theater installation. I have some more projects coming up in the future and will definitely reach out to him again. Highly recommended.

We had an electrical outside outlets. Aaron, was efficient and was able to identify the issue quickly and gave us an estimate for the repairs with options. We were very satisfied.

The absolute best electric company in the DFW area. I was going to use Milestone Electric but they were too busy to install my ceiling fans & wouldn't give me a price before they came out. They were going to charge a trip charge before they quoted me. Frisco Electric quoted me up front with no hidden costs. Curren was amazing & very helpful. These are my new electricians. This is a family owned business and I cannot say enough good things about them. We have an older home that needed a new electrical panel, new exhaust fan for bathroom, new outlets, switches, etc. While we found cheaper electricians we quickly found that some were uninsured and many did not want to pull a permit for the electrical panel. I have read that  this could cause problems with selling a home later on if the work isn't done according to code, and also this could be a safety issue if the work was not done right. All work was done promptly and we are completely satisfied with everything. The city inspector easily signed off on the work so that was outstanding. I highly recommend Light it Up Electric!

I would give more stars if I could. I had the best experience with USA Electric. I had bought a new Generator for emergencies and I wanted it hooked up to my home .  They sent out Angel and he was so professional and just downright a pleasure to work with.  He made absolutely positive before leaving that my husband and I knew exactly what we were doing should we ever need to use that generator.  Can't stay enough great things about this company!!! Great company to work with. I had a 220V outlet installed in the garage for charging a Tesla. The owner, Jeff, communicated promptly and clearly. I got four different quotes from companies here on Yelp, and JSR's price was not only reasonable but also SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the others (which made me feel like the others were trying to scam me). JSR confirmed the appointment and gave me a one-hour arrival window the day before, and the electrician, Tim, arrived on time and did fantastic work. He was in and out in about 45 minutes. I received an emailed receipt/invoice almost immediately after he was finished. Plug works great, and I'm very happy with JSR. Will definitely book them in the future if I need electrical work done.

Since buying a new house we've used several different electricians for different projects around the house. They all leave messes and charge an arm and a leg. We tried Peerless for the first time and my husband said I think we finally found our electrician. The prices were fair, they were able to come out the same day, were very personable, and replaced one and added a new outdoor outlet for us quickly. My husband said he actually learned a lot as Allen and Cooper walked him through some info we didn't know about our breaker. To me the best part was that I didn't find one piece of garbage anywhere when they left. Every electrician we've had before literally just leaves the cut pieces all over and makes a big mess left for us to clean up. Looking forward to having a go to electrician.
