I found T&D Electrical through Angie's List. They honored a coupon through the site and did an excellent job upgrading my electrical service and replacing the old fuse boxes with breaker boxes. I plan to reach out again for other electrical jobs for my house (there are plenty of them...).

I rarely write reviews. I cannot say enough positive things about Noel and his company. He came out a few years ago to fix an issue that a prior electrician had left a mess. He fixed it properly and efficiently and was much cheaper than other quotes I got. On top of that, he was very pleasant while performing the work. This review however pertains to a recent issue that I just had. I came home to find that the majority of my house did not have power. I scrambled trying to call COMED and I tried to reset my circuit breaker. Nothing worked. On a whim, I called Noel since he was so great a few years earlier. He called me back right away and talked me through the issue, and gave me suggestions to fix the problem. One of his suggestions worked! I offered to send him compensation for the consultation, and he refused. I have referred him to many friends after my initial positive experience, and all have also had very positive experiences. But I could not have been more impressed with his integrity during my most recent interaction. He is the only electrician I plan to ever use, and will continue to recommend him to others without hesitation. You will not be disappointed.

We had a major issue with electrical supply to our garage. Victor was the first to identify the real issue and discussed it with us. He was prompt in his work and we are relieved. He was able to victoriously finish the work.

Aardvark Electric did a great job at our home today !  The 2 electricians wore their masks , were friendly , neat, efficient , knowledgeable, and timely. Frank was very responsive when we made our initial call , scheduled our appointment promptly , and provided a reasonable cost estimate for the work we needed to have completed. Fantastic.  I submitted a request via Yelp and received an immediate response.  I called and was able to talk live through the work I needed (replacing light switches and a new ceiling fan).  Very knowledgeable about the right items I needed to make their visit a success.  We walked through if I had the right switches, etc.  

Lucas arrived on time and worked quietly while I was on remote work calls in my office.  Quick, efficient and tidy.  

I will definitely hire them again.

I had a highly positive experience with Donatello Electric yesterday. I'm in the midst of preparing my residence to become a rental unit and have been switching out some light fixtures. To do that, I had to turn off the power at the circuit breaker. I have pretty old circuit breaker, so when I switched off the circuits I wasn't able to switch them back on again. It was getting dark, and I still have more work to do on the house but no light. I called Don. He sent Mike and Tim out within the hour. Within the next hour and 15 minutes, Mike and Tim work diligently to fix the problem. They worked professionally and efficiently to solve the problem. I would definitely call them again.

We can't say enough good things about David Patterson.  He does outstanding work, is incredibly responsive and helpful, and is a pleasure to work with.

David integrated a complete landscape lighting/electrical system into our new patio/landscaping project. We had no experience with this type/scale of project and David patiently explained every step of the process, answered all of our questions, and was always brimming with great ideas.  He is fabulously knowledgeable, his guidance was spot on, and we are extremely pleased with how everything turned out.

In addition to being so helpful, David was the quintessential professional.  He was responsive, reliable, flexible, efficient, clean, and friendly.  

David also went over and above our expectations in many different ways; like emailing us pictures during construction to document the underground wiring; like making lawn trenches and wires disappear; like leaving the place cleaner than he found it; like re-planting a 100 lb. boxwood that needed moving; like making sure he was present every time the city inspector stopped by; like spending hours in the hot sun chiseling through cement to re-install conduit and wiring that was damaged by a different contractor.

I requested a quote to replace the k&t on the second floor of my house.  He messaged me asking where I was located, and I told him.  He then proceeded to tell me that he Googled my house, and it would cost $15k to rewire my house and replace the panel.  I told him that it was obvious that he didn't read my request because I only requested the 2nd floor to be done, and didn't need a new panel.  The then said that it would be about $7-8K to do the 2nd floor.

I was extremely disappointed because he didn't even bother to come out to my house to give me an estimate, which he could have easily done, because my house is ONE BLOCK from his business address according to his Yelp profile.

I would never trust anyone who couldn't even be bothered to go out to a site to give an estimate, especially one he could walk to.

He might do good work, but his estimate was overpriced from other people I've talked to by at least $2k

I am really impressed by CM Electrical's knowledge, kindness and willingness to help. I contacted them so that they could come over and replace a dimmer switch with a regular one as it was messing up my LED lights. I had already purchased the replacement switch and had intended to carry out the replacement myself, but I just could not get the wires connected correctly and would end up tripping the circuit breaker. The gentleman on the phone whom I spoke to heard me out fully and asked me a number of questions pertaining to the wire colors and the switches that I had (both the original and replacement) - he patiently waited while I looked up the components and provided him the answers. He then told me what wires to connect where and asked me to give it a shot myself. Before we ended the call he asked me to call back if I ran into issues. I carried out the replacement just as he had instructed and everything works perfectly. I can't  thank him enough for his help. I am sure that I would've had to pay a pretty penny had someone had to come over to do it. The world has good people in it - I ran into someone really good today! Thanks!

Scheduled within 2 days of contacting on Yelp. Steve came out and removed my old ballasts so I could update/upgrade to LED tube lights. Great price and service. Now I know who to call for any electrician needs and installations. Thank you!

Tim was awesome. He came and installed my smart switches. Very professional. And answered all my questions. I will definitely be reaching out to Tim in the near future for all my Electrical projects.

We called for an electrical short that kept setting off the circuit breaker. After 4 days of dealing with another company that had a different story everyday. We called Sam and he solved our problem in a couple of hours for a reasonable price.
He knows his electricity very well.
I would recommend him for any electrical work needed.
He is now our go to guy.

They redid the electrical in my house.  That was quick and no complaints with speed.  Only took a few days.  The issue is that one of the outside outlets stopped working the first time it was used.  It wasn't a shorted fuse.  Something is wrong with it.  We called them, and they kept saying they would call us back to schedule someone to check it out.  They never did.   We called them various times with the same the result.   They did a sales call to find out if we have any upcoming electric projects.  We told them no, but first they should fix the issue with the first project.  Again, they said they would call back to schedule a tech... They never did.  I regret going with this company.  I don't recommend them.  Terrible service.

They probably nice people having a bad day, but I called just to get some info and got hung up on twice. The first time I was hung up on soon as I finished my question. Then I thought the phone might have just messed up, no biggie. I call back get immediately put on hold and 90 seconds in it picks up and I get hung up on again. Not trying to be a bother, just was interested in your services and prices.
