Chad was professional, affordable, punctual, and a pleasure to work with. He did his homework on the project prior to quoting me his rate. My project had layers to it and he communicated effectively. He offered great suggestions on follow up tasks I had surrounding the project, and those suggestions proved extremely helpful. He went above and beyond. Even charging me less once he completed the work. I highly recommend!

Jerell came out and was very professional. He was sent to us for a plumbing problem behind our dishwasher. Allison and White property management had him come out. But now they say nothing is wrong , I would very much like the report from Jerrel if possible, because these guys are giving us a lot of trouble because of this situation and nothing is getting fixed. Can you please help? Our address is 1013 12th St. NE in Hickory. He left his number with my son, but when we called it said mailbox was not set up. We could really use your help.

Paid the $69 + tax minimum trip charge today to learn that it costs $275 for Michael & Son to hang a ceiling fan. Asked the office. How much does it cost to hang a ceiling fan? They would not not provide an estimate. Talk to the tech.

So they had the tech (Joe) call me and tell me that he could not provide a price nor a price range until he saw the job in person. His minimum trip charge would apply to any other costs, and that he's got great reviews and he'll be on my side and that we'd be very happy with his work.  

Well now he's seen the job and quoted about double what Home Depot or Lowe's would charge to do the same job.

Some of their customers are happy. Others are not. I'm in the second camp.

Rip off alert. Demand a price estimate / price range before you let them into your home. Or call another company who will.

Follow-up note. After requesting that they reduce the charge from $74 to $29 (their previous price for an estimate), they instead offered to refund the entire amount. Advice stands. After paying them $300 to repair a hot water heater that is only 6 years old I was still having the same issue shortly after the plumber left.  I was then told when I spoke with them that the plumber would be back the next day, a Saturday.  When he never showed I called them and they told me he didn't work that day and he could come on Monday and replace the entire unit.  I asked about the $300 in parts and labor that I already paid and they said that was paid for the work they did and not relevant to replacing the unit.  I refused and decided to look at the unit myself.  I discovered that the unit was not getting any air as the intake was covered with dust and dirt.  The plumber had said he cleaned this area out and DID NOT.  After cleaning it myself I am back up and running but still out the $300 in un-needed repairs that they performed.

6 days without hot water while i sit on the part they say needed that was sent directly to me but now they cant come back until next week to install
