A Roby Tech stood on our toilet to install an exhaust fan instead of bringing a ladder.

Our tub had to be chalked twice because the first Roby Tech did not prep the surface before caulking it.  

A Roby tech broke some ceiling drywall and said we could just paint over it. My wife had to argue with them before they would agree to fix it correctly. We had to follow up with them over and over to get that drywall repair scheduled. (See the actual loooong email thread at pastebin.com/e0WWfC2U )

We just wanted to pay a Professional to fix our bathroom while we relaxed, but it was a Total Headache.

Jerell came out and was very professional. He was sent to us for a plumbing problem behind our dishwasher. Allison and White property management had him come out. But now they say nothing is wrong , I would very much like the report from Jerrel if possible, because these guys are giving us a lot of trouble because of this situation and nothing is getting fixed. Hocoa TOTALLY helped me out when I got jammed up this Summer. My house was about to go on the market when I got water damage from a clogged drain pipe in my attic, pushing my list date back by another week. The contractor I hired no showed on me and I frantically called around trying to find someone that would help me out. I'm not much of a crier, by that day when the contractor failed to show, I had hit my break point. When I got in touch with Hocoa, Craig assured me everything would be alright and he'd do everything in his power to get my home ready on time so I could list my house with no further delays. They completely came through for me, all the work got done on time to keep the list schedule and I was able to regain my sanity.

James did a great job. His replied with quote quickly with a fair price and communicated with me along the way.  Arrived to the job on time.  Did a great job fixing my clothing rack.  I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for fixing jobs around the house.

I had blinking light syndrome in my house recently. I called Michael and Son Services basically because they were in the phone book. I'm glad I did! Setting up the appointment was a breeze, the operator was very polite and responsive. I was scheduled right away and the technician was right on time. He was polite, knowledgeable, and very comprehensive. My problem was solved after needed parts were received.

I recommend them for any electrical work that might be needed.

To say I felt cheated by this company was an understatement...

I scheduled a service call to fix my tankless water heater that was no longer providing hot water consistently.  They scheduled a technician who specialized in tankless water heaters to arrive to my home on Thursday the 10th with a two hour window.  I scheduled a vacation day away from work to get hot water restored to our home.  Unfortunately, the technician never showed up and I didn't even receive a courtesy phone call from IRV to let me know that the tech would not be coming.  I called several hours past the missed appointment window and they dispatched another tech however he wouldn't arrive until after 5pm.  The technician that arrived did not know much about tankless water heaters and was not prepared to work in it.  It was as if they just sent someone to show face as they missed the appointment already.  He simply asked me if I had cleaned it since it was installed which I answered no.  His diagnosis was that the unit needed to be cleaned first before doing any further work and he proceeded to charge me $157 for the diagnosis and said that I would have to schedule another day to get the unit cleaned.  This one question could have been asked when I called in for the appointment.  This is also a simple 45 minute fix which I would have expected to be preformed while he was here at my property.  

Two days following I finally received the quote for the cleaning which was $530.  This put the total cost of the cleaning at $692!!! The cleaning only requires a $15 descaler solution that is pumped through the flush valves of the unit for half hour.  In addition, two small filters are cleaned (air and water) which take two minutes each.  From start to finish this repair only took me 45 minutes to do myself. With a fully burdened labor cost of roughly $60-75 an hour and $15 of material cost (descaler solution) I felt like this company was taking advantage of the home owner.  I am in the construction business and am fully aware on the total burdened cost for an employee in the service arena.  This was essentially a 700% markup over the companies cost.  I understand companies have markups and need to make profit however this was beyond excessive.  Buyer beware, avoid this company at all cost as they will try to rip you off for such an easy fix!
