Best Water Heater Repair in San Francisco CA

Our tenants shorted out the cable lighting system in our condo and I only had a day to fix it.  I found Brookline on google and John was able to come over on very short notice which was great.  It took a while to find the problem transformer.  If he had said the box needed to be replaced for ~$500, I would have said ok since I have zero expertise in these matters and a short deadline.  However, John figured out there was a breaker switch on the box and I was able to reset it myself.  Another company would have simply forced me to replace the expensive hardware and pay them for the labor to do that.

My 80 year old mother has a service contract with them for years.  I cancelled mine as I find them to be pricey.  They came on 1/25 to fix my mothers heater that stopped working and spent 2-3 hours and couldn't fix it.  Said it might be a specific part.  I was told they would order it and should have it on the 27th to put in but they would call.  No call but I called the rep who said they had to order from the mfg and no idea long it would take for sure.  I called the company the following week and was told it takes 5-7 days to get here from mfg.  It is now 2/6 and my 80 year old mother still has no heater!!  No follow up from company, and I have to call for follow ups.  You would think they could have the part shipped faster, as a 12 days to get this part is not acceptable.  Their follow up customer service sucks!!  Just got a call from my family that the part just came in.  Now we have to call to set up the install.  Not happy!!

I spent weeks, months trying to find a shop that could handle 1) AC panel upgrade, 2) 5-6 different 120V and 240V wiring (for us to convert from gas to electric for water heater, furnace, range, dryer), 3) manage the water heater install, 4) pull all electrical, plumbing, and building permits, 5) complete the scope on time and on budget to meet permit, tax credit, and state incentive requirements.

Eric and his team were professional and responsive; on budget and thorough; checked in often on feedback and design decisions; knew every inch of existing code and upcoming code changes; and are incredibly knowledgeable about all of these different appliances and buildings, the best cost/value/environmental benefit of each.

No other shop could have put eyes on everything we were trying to do on this whole home electrification project in a complex SF permitting environment and done such a great job in managing the project and me as a client.

Handyman Heroes are a group that really live up to the name of their company.  I have used them on several projects around my house and have been very impressed with their work.  Their rates are totally fair and they simply pass through the actual cost of what ever supplies they needed to purchase.  Scheduling and follow-up are also very good.  Larry is someone I would recommend in a second to anyone needing some work done around the house!!

Wish I could leave no stars! Absolute worst company. I have been paying every 3 months for over 15 years to be their VIP in case of emergencies- EVERYTIME i have called, because their system constantly breaks down, they don't have anyone available for WEEKS! I have always paid out-of-pocket for my emergency repairs. When someone finally comes out from Service Champions they try to sell you a whole new system etc. What a scam! I had to pay my bank additional fees just to get Service Champions off my autopayment! BEWARE!!!!!!!

OMG - best service I've ever had from a business.  Damon was fun to work with, and he sent Daniel over to repair the electrical outlet that serves my koi pond same-day.  Daniel was great - friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.  Everything you could hope for.  He also kept Damon updated on his progress, so that everyone was on the same page.  Fish are now alive and healthy.  We need a bathroom remodel - I've asked if we could get a quote.  I definitely will work with them again.

Went beyond the call of the duty to help us.  Did the job replacing the valve to a toilet.  Explained all the issues and fixed it.  

Even helped me adjust another toilet and also pushed in my mattress into my moving van.  Definitely and highly recommend!

Very unprofessional. Never got to use their services because when they responded to my request, one employee gave me pricing/details specific to my task, while another employee responded within mins saying they couldn't do it. Then, they tried to blame it on their server. Strange and unprofessional.

Ongaro and Sons just installed a new furnace for us and were very professional, courteous and timely from the beginning to conclusion of the job.  I would certainly call  on them again and  highly recommend them to others.

Ted and team are great. They have done a variety of projects for us from a full kitchen remodel, tiling the basement, insulation and drywall, electrical and painting. He is very knowledgeable, responsive and does great work. I highly recommend him.

Kevin with KLM Utilities was a pleasure to work with in upgrading the electrical panel of my home in SF. He provided a competitive price, finished the work quickly, and handled the whole project without missing a beat including city permit and inspection.  He is great with updates on progress and answering any questions. It did take a few weeks to get the project on his book, which is a good thing - in this market any good contractor should be busy.

They showed up in masks and kept them on the entire time they were here. Got the job done quickly and efficiently. Kept me informed of the work to be completed and the next steps.  Organized all city filings, inspections, fees, and were here to meet the city inspectors! This was a huge relief!

We needed some overhead lighting installed and found Divine Electric here.  They came out and did a quote and we scheduled the work.

Trevor from Divine came and did a great job.  He was kind, attentive, careful, did great quality electrical work and the job was completed to the quoted price.

Prices were super reasonable, flat rate and as-agreed to.

I'd definitely recommend Divine Electric and will use them again in the future!  Big thumbs up for Trevor who really made the process smooth and did great work.

My home in Merced had an electrical issue in the kitchen. World electrical contractors arrived after typical work hours and quickly assessed the issue. They were soon able to resolve the issue. Great communication and their work was performed in a timely manner.
