Best Gas Water Heater Installat… in San Francisco CA

This is my 2nd time using Service Champions and I was very impressed with the technician Devin.  My unit is 36 years old and just about dead but Devin was able  to get  it to cool the house again but we also laughed because this unit could die at any moment and 36 years is unheard of.  Proper maintenance has kept it going.  

Devin took many pictures of the issues with oil leaks and explained everything in detail.  He was very knowledgeable and professional.  I was impressed with the email he sent after he left with all of the details.  

Great service and Devin arrived on time.  I also like the email updates letting me know the exact time he should be arriving at my house.  Thanks Devin for a thorough & professional job!

Eric has done several projects for us, we've been happy with the results, and we'll keep calling him for electrical needs.  He's rewired our bathroom, put in lights in our basement hall and garden, installed a level 2 EV charger for our new electric car in our garage, and done all the work for a garden office room we built (on a tight budget).  Our tenants also had some problems with their hall light and he repaired it right away.  We've got an old building.  He's very future-oriented, so I trust him to do work that doesn't get in the way of future projects we have to do on our house

Had my Air conditioner checked out a few weeks ago by Service Champions. The gentleman who came out was nice, but they truly over sell and overpriced people. It's sad! I use Service Champions every year to check my furnace or AC, but not anymore! When my tech came out I knew my start up capacitor was bad and needed to be replaced. That was it! A part that costs 35 bucks max. Well, I was never provided an estimate and I was given two options, one was $643.00 and the other was $543.00. The cheaper one included a VIP membership of 191 bucks. Regardless, I was over charged and I'm still angry about it. It's not integrity or morale to charge that much money to replace a part I diagnosed. Next time I will fix my AC myself. Stay away from Service Champions, they overcharge!

I was quite pleased with the efficiency, effort, and timeliness of the repairs and upgrades to my 2 1/2 baths which included all new ceiling fans (two of which had to be installed through the attic), one vanity lighting installation, two new shower heads, new towel racks, two upstairs toilets with noisy flushing issues needing repairs and one toilet flapper replacemnet, a bathroom sink faucet screen replacement, and a bathtub shower diverter valve rebuild and knob upgrade.  These repairs were long overdue, and I searched for a complany that could provide all of the work, not just some of the plumbing or some of the electrical.  Brian, from Berkeley Home Repair, was able to complete all of the work that I needed done.  This family owned business is serious about their work, their company, and their reputation, and will do all that is needed to make sure their work is exemplary and their customers are satisfied.  My selection of Berkeley Home Repair was based on the excellent YELP reviews from satisfied customers, and their range of work. After talking to Damon over the phone and via email and other modes of communication media, and speaking with Brian as he was here completing the jobs, both were found to be courteous and knowledgable, and deserving of well-earned excellent ratings and referral.

A trustworthy and professional contractor is difficult commodity to come by, Yevgeny arrived promptly and spent about 20 minutes diagnosing a problem with my kitchen sink. He explained how to fix it and the best place to get a new faucet. What a helpful and nice guy!

I called to set up an appointment to have our heating system checked as we were freezing in our new house. The woman that took my call was very helpful, polite and patient. This is the way customer service should be. I complemented her, but I also wanted to note her excellent service , publicly.
In the end, we found we didn't need the service, but I would not hesitate to call
Ondaro when I need help

Woke up to no hot water and called Mister Fixit--he sent me a video on how to re-light the pilot and offered to walk me through it via video chat. I ended up not needing the chat but appreciate Mr Fixit's willingness to help me out for free and on the spot! He's a nice guy and now I have hot water, so 5 stars!

Wanted to charge is $89 to come out for an estimate. No thanks - should share that upfront before wasting everyone's time

After further discussion Darin extended a partial refund which I believe is fair.
