A++++ Javier contacted me almost immediately and suggested he will send his electrician Freddy to replace the light fixtures I needed changed. Javier is super friendly and extremely quick. Freddy came over and installed my new light fixtures and he did an awesome job at it. Freddy too is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Overall a very quick and smooth experience. Great price!

All around wonderful experience. I reached out to General SF to fix a TaskRabbit project gone wrong. Yevgeny was very communicative and direct when helping to assess the electrical problem I was calling him to fix. He came over and was generous with his time, explaining to me where the previous mistakes were made and how he could go about fixing them. Yevgeny and his team came the next day and were efficient, professional, and kind. I greatly appreciate Yevgeny's extreme attention to detail, making sure everything was level, screwed in properly, and cleaned up after the project was complete -- the little details do make a difference! He's a rare find and a warm, helpful, and knowledgeable person -- would absolutely hire again.

We had a small leak in the shower stall of one of our bathrooms due to old silicone sealant grout needing to be stripped and replaced. I looked at the problem and decided that it was a bit above my skill level to do a good job of thoroughly stripping away the old grout in order replace it with new grout. Got in touch with Dave with some pictures of the stall and he quickly got back to me with an estimate. He and his worker were at the house the next morning and did a great job in replacing the old grout with nice, new grout, and also pointed out some unnoticed issues with the previous water leakage.
   Dave did a great job for me with quality work.

The hassle-free handyman did a phenomenal job mounting a TV in a challenging spot alongside indoor wire concealment. All that for a more than reasonable price point. Something hard to find in the Bay. Already have additional projects in mind and I will hire him again. Super responsive, knowledgeable, and an outright nice person. A++

They were friendly and super-responsive to our inquiries. Devon and Caleb were courteous and professional, and did quality work replacing a section of our fence. We originally requested repair of several panels, but upon finding that one of the posts was not fully anchored, we appreciated that they worked with us to do the job in a day. The fence looks great, and they charged us fairly even when it was more work than originally expected. We will definitely use them for further repairs!

Ben totally saved the day!

We suffered a break-in attempt yesterday morning, which ended up damaging our building's front door frame to the point that it would no longer lock. This obviously needed to get fixed ASAP and I knew that same day availability for a big job like this would be a challenge. Luckily I found Ben's page and gave him a call. He was able to fit me into his afternoon and worked until sundown to get the door frame repaired with new lumber and reinforced. He was polite, helpful, and a total pleasure to work with, and we went to bed soundly knowing that the front door was now even more secure than it was before the incident. Thanks again Ben!

We just finished having a kitchen remodeled by Carlos and his fantastic team!!! They removed a wall, a door, put in our new kitchen cabinets, and a new backsplash, and a new countertop! It came out better than we expected. Carlos knows his stuff and his whole entire team are nice people I feel they are like family. We wouldn't trust anyone else to do any work around our house. He's trustworthy, honest, and finishes the work right to the last detail. We are having some small jobs jobs done and he's our guy!!

Me. Fixit is responsive, timely and efficient. He has helps us multiple times, with our garage vents, air conditioning, and other home projects.

Sergei was great, he came right on time and did a great job. He is a very nice man and puts pride in his work. I highly recommend him and I am a tough customer.  I know good quality work when I see it. He wasn't trying to rush and get it done.

This review is long overdue... Norman repaired a door for us on a small shed in our backyard several months ago. Water had been entering the shed and the door frame was damaged, and we wanted everything repaired before we cleaned out and fixed up the shed to use as an exercise room. Norman did some testing, identified the problem, fixed it and replaced the door trim. We've now installed carpet in the room and have had no leaks or problems since the repair.

In addition, Norman is a true handyman - the kind of guy who just can't help but fix things. In addition to our shed, he repaired the latch on our gate (he happened to notice it was broken and just fixed it for us) as well as our sticking front door. We'd definitely work with him again.
