I contacted Greg and even though he doesn't service my area he took time out of his morning to listen to my problem and walk me through how he would investigate the problem and steps I could take to safeguard my home. He even offered to talk again if I had questions after speaking with another electrician. Even though I didn't have any work done, I'd highly recommend going with Greg, I only wish he serviced NJ!

Larry and his sons (Larry and Ryan) were great. I see why they get such high ratings. They were reasonably priced, knowledgeable, polite, funny, did a great job, and they cleaned up afterwards. This was the first in a series of things I need done, and I will definitely have them back. I moved to Philadelphia 6 years ago but just bought my condo in May. Finding contractors you can trust is not always easy. I usually ask for recommendations from friends, but no one had anyone for me. Next I go to Yelp, and Yelp did not disappoint. Thanks guys and I will see you again!

Called iTech on a Saturday, got an actual human immediately, and we scheduled for Monday with a two-hour window. On Monday, they called to tell me that another appointment ran over and they'd need to move to Tuesday. I work from home so that wasn't a big deal.
Tony arrived on time on Tuesday and was courteous, friendly, and professional. He replaced three switches (one a smart switch that required adding a neutral wire). Price was lower than quoted on the phone. Will use them again, excellent experience overall.

I woke up on a Sunday to find that half my house was without power. After flipping the circuit breakers, there was no change. I contacted GE Electrical and Edmond showed up within a few hours. He got on a ladder and diagnosed that one of the two lines running from the PECO line to my house was damaged from normal wear and tear. He returned at 8a Monday with a coworker. They repaired the line within an hour. The price was fair. I would definitely hire Edmond and GE Electrical again!

I had an issue with one of my properties in port Richmond losing power in the kitchen and bathroom. We tried flipping the breakers off and on and that didn't work so needed a solution quick. I sent out a request on Yelp for electricians and Charles replied promptly. He offered emergency services to come out and troubleshoot at a reasonable rate (this was Friday night at 9pm) and mentioned if it could wait, it would be a lesser rate the next day. I decided on the next day and he offered me a generous time window. The next day he arrives half and hour early and texts me to give me a heads up and then he proceeds to work. In the end the voltage loss was due to wiring and he redid some of the wiring for a reasonable price. I was not at the property at the time but Charles gave me an option to view the invoice over email and make payment securely online. Overall I was thoroughly impressed with his response time and his ability to help me out when I was in a pickle without overcharging. Definitely will contact Charles again for future electric projects.

Wonderful experience from start to finish! I so appreciate the great communication and follow through. So many contractors have literally no showed with no explanation so having a reliable company is SO refreshing! Eduardo was so amazing! Worked efficiently and respectfully. Even helped me take down some lighting fixtures I couldn't reach to clean and put them back up. Pointed out a hazardous outlet in the bath that needed GFI and didn't charge a ridiculous price to do it. I love these guys!! Thank you!!

Service was fast and the electrician was knowledgeable and thorough in diagnosing and resolving several wiring issues in my older home.

Andi and his partner Nick did a fantastic job with my house! I wanted recessed lighting done and he was very honest with getting me a quote about what he can/can't do.
They are perfectionists and want to stay to complete the job 100%.
Very professional coming on time/ earlier. Prices are fair and you definitely pay for quality. These guys do a smooth, clean job and also clean up after themselves when they're done.
I'm very pleased with the service I got and will definitely use them again one day when I redo my bathroom lights!

Requested a quote and installation for recessed lights and ceiling fans in multiple rooms in my house. Quoted price was very reasonable and they worked with us to discuss options, expectations, and supplies. Communication was excellent and when they were running a little behind due to other jobs, they reached out to us to keep us aware of their status. They finished within the expected timeframe and were extremely courteous. For future electrical work, I'll be reaching out to these guys.

Found him through yelp. Owner came out to do a free look and sent me a typed estimate. One his employees came back on promised date and installed 2 ceiling fans and 2 light fixtures. Owner sent me receipt and remained professional and polite even when i fussed at him about something that was not his or his tech's fault. (That alone would've earned him 5 stars!)
This is my first home and of all the people I've contacted for different repair/maintenance services he has been the most professional, least pushy and decently priced. I'm sure I'll use him again.

First thing first... he answers the phone. Even more amazing, he tried to talk me through it before we decided I was in over my head. Made time on a Sunday to come and see what was wrong. Methodical in his trouble shooting and was able to isolate the problem to an exposed junction box (unlike the last electrician who said he'd have to tear out sheetrock and wanted $2000 to do the job). Quickly fixed it.
Then, to top it all off, answered a question I had about installing the rest of my smart switches on a Sunday evening.
Good guys, fair pricing and great work ethic.

From the call answered to the technicians that came out, they were all polite and professional. This starts from
Amy, to Leo and Ortaku the actual workers that performed the task. I was truly satisfied. I highly recommend them.

The best electricians in South Jersey. Very professional and honest. They have done work at our old house. We now live out of State and they help with our electrical needs at rental properties. A top notch service that I can always count on! Thank you MP Electric.

Having never hired a contractor to do any work in my home, I can't say enough great things about Anton Electric!
Everyone in my family is in some sort of skilled trade so we rarely have to hire contractors. My cousin is an electrician but he's been unavoidably detained with a 4 year old and a new born, so I had to call in the pros to install our media center and wire in a ceiling fan where no electric existed before.
Jeff, from Anton Electric, was not only on time each day he came, but he was professional and did everything neatly and proper. He installed all of our components in the basement and ran an infrared device through the walls and placed it discretely next to the TV (which I still can't find). Now everything is out of site in the basement and all we have in our living room is the TV and speakers - it's amazing! Everything is controlled through this infrared and changing channels and such sends a signal to our devices in the basement. I'd highly recommend this if yo want to hide your devices.
Jeff also installed a ceiling fan in our living room and honestly, he had it up in under 20 minutes.
We shopped around with some other contractors and Anton was not only the most competitive, but they appeared to have had the best reputation. We'll be calling them back when we redo our kitchen or have any other electrical needs! Thanks Anton!

I called wade the afternoon before my service day and Wade was there the next morning. He was prompt and professional. I needed a new thermostat line ran as I was told by a heating professional. I explained what was going on with my tenants thermostat, she was unable to control her heat as there was a break in the wiring any where from the 2nd floor to the basement. Wade surveyed the each floor to find where the issue was and to see if a new wire needed to be ran and/or if the break in the line was in the wall or not)....long story short Wade saved me $100 as he found out no new wiring was needed he would just repair the existing wiring as it was not broken in the wall, he also properly secure the wiring to avoid any future issues. My tenant was able to control their heat that same day with no issues. Thanks Wade for you electrical expertise and customer service! I will definitely recommend Wade for electrical services and will be using him in the future.

I called this company on a hot summer day when my tenant called me and told me her power went off. I was running around town with my two kids, so in a hurry I decided to call the first company I saw on yelp. I really wish I had taken more time to look for a more reputable company.
First, be aware that this company has multiple listings for different locations all over the city. If you look at their other listings, you will see the many poor reviews that they have received.
I received multiple phone calls from different people after my initial service request. They repeatedly told me that there is a $165 charge for emergency dispatch, and that once they do an inspection, they will let me know what the cost of the actual work will be. When the technician got to the house, a guy named Steven Miller called me and said he wanted me to pay the dispatch fee upfront before anything is done. He then sent me an email to get my written authorization to charge the credit card. All of this seemed a bit odd to me... the multiple phone calls, the written authorization, the fee up front... but I didn't think too much of it and just proceeded.
About 10 minutes after I paid for the dispatch fee, Steve calls me back with his technician on the phone to tell me that they have to charge me another fee for the diagnostic. I told them that my understanding was after spending $165 they would be able to tell me what's wrong and give me an estimate on the cost of the work. He then proceeded to repeat everything that he and another one of his employees had already told me over the phone multiple times. I told him that I did not feel comfortable proceeding forward and that I was going to call around to see if other companies have similar practices. He then had his other employee (a woman with a courteous voice) call me to try to reason with me. I told her again that I was going to call around and if this is common practice, then that's fine, but if not then I will be leaving a long review for them.
I got off the phone with the woman and called another local electrician. This man was honest, prompt and straightforward. He came out within half hour and fixed the problem for me under 10 minutes and charged me a third of what Thomas Edison had quoted me for simply coming out and finding out what the problem is (not including any work done).
Needless to say, I will be sticking with my honest electrician from now on. Steve did call me again to tell me that he would not charge me the $165 as a courtesy to make me happy. I thought for a second about not leaving a bad review, but I decided that I cannot let this company get away with unethical practice. This company needs to know that people are not stupid and this kind of bait and switch business practice will only backfire. Simple honesty, trustworthiness and respect for people is the way to go.

Before they even come out they take your credit card number, assess a 95.00 service fee, call back / text multiple times to confirm service then even before someone arrives, steps foot on property to look at the problem state charge of 340.00.
Never seen anything like this. We cancelled service and had another company do it the old fashioned way. Come out, assess fix problem and charge for their services 100.00
