When I called, they told me that they were on the way to another job but once they got an idea of how long that would take, they would message me. They then showed up in 20 minutes as they said they would. Located the source of the leak within 15 minutes and fixed it quickly in a very professional manner. No drama, very polite and reasonable. Seem very knowledgeable.

Katie did a fantastic job recaulking our bathroom. She was responsive, very professional and has great attention to detail. Cannot recommend her more!

A Leak showed up in the ceiling downstairs, we had no idea where it was coming from. Our insurance send another plumbing company who tried to make the issue bigger than it was to make a profit. They didn't even located the source of the leak.  The insurance company realized they were dishonest, denied their claim and called A1 construction instead. I was so happy with A1 construction. He was honest, professional, friendly and he knew what he was doing. He located the source of our leak and fixed the problem on the same day and in no time. Book A1 construction, you would not regret it.

Serge arrived exactly on time and worked efficiently. Replaced our vanity and sink with a set from IKEA which mounts to the wall (no legs), applied silicone cleanly, very happy with the result. Also communicated clearly in terms of materials and pricing. I would hire Serge again for future tasks.

He was quick to respond via Yelp and diagnosed the issue with my sink with a photo and video and able to provide an estimate which was much more reasonable than others. He kept me posted on his timeframe to arrive which I appreciated. He completed the job efficiently and charged me the quoted price. Happy to have found a reliable handyman for the future!

We reached out to several lighting companies re: the installation of 8 recessed lights with a dimmer switch in my living room. Many of the companies replied, but could only do half the job - they could install the lights, but could not repair or patch the holes, meaning I would have to find a second company to do all of that. Annoying.

Thankfully, I kept searching and came across Ricardo at CN Coterie. After a quick estimate, we finalized details for the entire job, and work began a few days later. It took a little longer than anticipated (2 full days of work) to install the 8 lights and wall dimmer switch, and then patch, sand and paint the holes, but the work itself was great and the price was reasonable. Most importantly, Ricardo was responsive and a professional. Definitely recommend him if you need a contractor!

I purchased a new home in the Hamptons, and heavy medicine cabinets installed by the previous owners started to literally fall off the walls in the bathrooms. On closer inspection the brackets were mounted with flimsy plastic anchors and not toggle bolts. I had no idea who to call for this job. I turned to Yelp and searched for a handyman. Handy Al and other handymen responded to my requests. Only one responded by emailing and calling right away:  Handy Al. He promised to be to us that day. He kept his word and was at my home as promised. Since I have two left thumbs, having access to someone to repair what could have easily injured someone in my home was urgent. Al came through!! Not only did he repair the one cabinet that came off the wall, but he also reinforced the other one on the other side by replacing the plastic anchors and small screws with toggle bolts. He was quick, efficient, polite and knowledgeable. I'm getting a 5-foot kitchen spice rack to mount on the pantry door.

Guess who I will be calling to mount it?  Yup.

Best service ever on time, fair price, very friendly and professional work what more could you ask for. I hired primo to install some safety items for my sister who is getting out of the,hospital after a fall  in upper Manhattan 218th street they did a great job and I would definitely hire them again.
