We are doing some renovating and wanted the wires and cable box for our TV in the bedroom to be hidden/more organized.

Please offer more services! I've used them to mount all my TV's and just discovered they also do electrical work. I just recently got ripped off by Gold Medal Services and found out I could've gone to primo instead.

Primo is the best because they are transparent, honest, skilled, knowledgeable, and quickly available. I'm amazed at how difficult it is to find these characteristics in people who offer home services. I will always check with you guys for all jobs first before googling anyone else.

Guys show up with no masks.  I tell them I can give them masks.  They say they have been vaccinated.  Isn't that nice?  WHAT DOES THAT MATTER nowadays?  Then when he asked if he could come in look he begged for masks?  Go figure.  

I found out at the last minute that they are not electricians, even though they can do some simple low voltage type of work.  My new video doorbell, however is a little different.  You have open the Chime box and bypass it with wiring that comes in the new doorbell kit so that it does not ring.  It comes with it's own CHIME that gets plugged into the wall of your home and this chime also stores the data on it so you don't have to pay Ring's or Nest's subscription fees to view footage.  They don't know anything about finding a transformer or jumping the wiring of the existing chime because they've never installed Eufy before.  It is a WIRED doorbell with simple enough wiring, but that extra step of working on the actual existing mechanical chime to shut if off they were uncertain of.

I was assured they could do this work and asked if they could do the bypass of the chime (or even if they knew what that was) and it turns out they are not familiar with my brand's security camera products.  They should watch some youtube videos and ask around.  Not everyone buys a Ring Camera.

Young lady calls me to tell me that she will never service me again.  Well, they only came to my home once, years and years ago to install two air conditioners that I got from Amazon in 2015.  I've never used them since then.  That's a whole different ball of wax.

I recommend you take time to figure out how new products work and are installed.  Eufy is not that new but they have wonderful products that can be used so you don't have to pay for monthly subscription to view footage.  Storage is on board and can be viewed on your phone for many, many days.

Hired Primo Home Services to install two window AC units. They were very patient with me prior to actually getting the work done as I dealt with my building management to ensure they were properly insured. Primo provided all the necessary documentation, but between the property manager going on vacation and some misunderstandings on what was needed took a lot longer than I would've liked. Once that got settled, we got an appointment set up soon after and they worked quickly and were very professional. Was really happy to find someone local and would recommend them to anyone.

These guys are incredible. Responsive, fair, and customize what you need on the fly...that's more than you can ask for. I initially found these guys about a decade ago when it was a small business that only did tv mounting. I thought it was great marketing and pretty cool that the crew did pull ups on the completed mounting jobs to show how sturdy their work was and then posted it on Facebook...so I had to book and see for myself. 10 years later I've had them mount many tvs over multiple places that I've lived and have referred them to friends, never had anyone unhappy. Most recently I found out that they do mostly all home services (Tvs, sound systems, entertainment, camera installation, ring/doorbells, etc)...so I hired them for more. Hands down one of the best finds...HIGHLY recommend.

The management office of the apartment building my mom lives in is a nightmare. They made getting work done very, very difficult. Primo Home Services was patient, communicative and professional. I highly recommend them. They will be the first people I call in the future. For sure!

TLDR: It's a sign of poor business practice when Primo's response to me requesting to file an insurance claim for damage their poor work caused is retaliation. It's also in poor taste that they fabricate their handling of this situation, instead of owning that they fell short here.

Primo installed a wire cover that fell after 4 days and damaged my wall. I requested a refund or to file an insurance claim to cover repair and they told me to never book them again. No repairs were ever made to my wall by Primo. They put a wire cover over the damage and called that fixed.

Primo also charged me again for that existing wire cover that had fallen when they returned to fix and complete the job. I asked for that double charge to be adjusted. Primo considers that a refund for the damaged wall. They can't do math either. Proof of overcharge is attached. I was refunded once after I alerted them of the double charge. I have yet to see proof of the final refund I requested.

Additionally, the cord that I was told I needed at visit 1 to finish the job wasn't even used in the final install. AND my wires are STILL NOT COMPLETELY COVERED! I apparently needed some other cord that they didn't note in 2 previous visits. Not the cord they charged me $10 for that's now sitting unused or the 25ft. HDMI cord they told me I needed to buy.

Primo returned for a second visit to complete the wire coverings. I purchased the requested cord and had 1 wire cover installed while I considered my options for completing the set up. This wire cover fell from the wall after 4 days and left a patch. I know that sometimes things happen, so I notified the company and scheduled a visit to fix that and complete the entire wire covering job. When all of the work was finished, I asked them to refund me for the fallen wire cover as I would have to pay to repair the wall, likely when I move out of my apartment. Primo told me that it was just paint and that I would have to pay to patch the holes from the tv mount when I moved out anyways, so it wasn't a big deal. They also said that since I discussed finishing the set up, I shouldn't be refunded and that they needed to be paid for their wire cover material. They refused the $25 refund.

My building required a certificate of insurance (which I paid for Primo to produce), so I asked that we go forward in filing an insurance claim since they refused the refund. I received a message from Primo stating that they had worked endlessly to please me and that I was forcing them to refund me by asking to file an insurance claim. They also asked that I never book them again. Their message also said that in their effort to rectify the situation, they had to use their time and gas to finish the job. Of course they did. It wasn't finished correctly and I paid for every visit. I mentioned that I had to take time from work for subsequent visits and Primo told me that I should have scheduled them on my day off. Wow! The audacity.

Very dramatic and unnecessary experience. There will likely be a colorful reply story below describing how they bent over backwards to do the quality job that I PAID FOR. Enjoy reading that and then go look for other options :)

So we moved into our house and were set on wanting to add a fireplace to give the living room more character.  We reached out to Primo and shared our vision with him and his team did an amazing job in executing it.  We are super happy with the final product.  We had a mantle we wanted to add but decided that a bigger mantle would look better. These guys know what they are doing. They were able to anchor the three mirrors to my walls perfectly. I am so glad I was able to find them & would absolutely recommend Primo. (October-2018)So I ordered a TV installation through amazon and this is the company they paired me with, and I am extremely satisfied with their level of service and knowledge. I would highly recommend them. They were earlier then the time scheduled (which worked out great for me) and they were done in 15 minutes and configured my cable remote to the new TV, just awesome!! Wonder if they offer any other services. Do you paint as wellDefinitely trust them with your TV installation!

Fast forward to 10/28/2020- I am so glad I saved their info from my last tv installation which I initially ordered through amazon who set me up with them. They seriously are just really good at what they do. This time I had a brand new 70 inch to replace the previous one (55in) that they mounted for me, and the 55in was to be moved and mounted in my sons room. I assumed it should be a 2 person job bc both TVs are super heavy. So I was a little nervous when it was just one person that came. Let me tell you Juan (the installer) was impeccable. He was able to get both jobs done to perfection on his own. Also, the person that I scheduled with via text was also very accommodating and friendly, because there was a chance I may have had to reschedule due to a delivery time issue from P.C. Richards. Glad to say it all worked out!

I found them at Yelp and was pretty impressed with the ratings, so I thought I would call then to mount my TV. But the work was really disappointing. The TV looks crooked and completely out of place in the room. When I told the guy that the TV is not straight, he insisted that it is and that he cannot do anything about it.

It's neither parallel to the ceiling nor to the wall. When I measured the distance between the bottom of the TV and the floor, there was a difference of more than an inch between the two ends of the TV!

This is really shoddy work. It looks so bad that we have to call someone else to remount the TV. Total ripoff.

Edit: Primo got back to me after the review and sent someone to make sure that the TV was parallel to the ceiling and floor. They still kept mentioning that it wont be parallel to ground level and its unusual but you would want it to look straight in the room. Satisfied with the service.

They just left from mounting my 70 TV here in NJ. They were very professional. Called my cell an hour before arriving to confirm. Showed up in the expected time frame. Immediately started working. Mounted the TV. Offered to hide cable box and wires. Even asked for a dustpan to clean up. They plugged my TV in and connected the router to make sure it's all in working order. Two guys were sent. Took them less than 30 min. I'd use and recommend them over and over again. I'll add a photo later.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Braulio and Yesennia were top notch to work with.

It was a fantastic and quick installation for our home in a nice newer community, and at move out, they came out, patched up the holes from the mounts. They made as  customer for life (when I'm living in NY/NJ).

They take great care of their customers, this is a very well managed company.

I would gladly have them come back to my home.

Anyone who is looking for an upstanding business with character to have come to their home and set up their entertainment system will be amazed with their  professionalism.

First things first: it has been several weeks and the TV has not fallen. :) So far so good LOL. But in all seriousness - Primo is great!

I wanted a 43 Samsung frame TV installed on a drywall which has thin 3D PVC panels glued to it.

Dish Smart Home Services cancelled my installation appointment 3 days prior to it. They sent me the following message: We do not have the tools required to mount the TV on surfaces other than drywall. Seriously? The 3D panels are 1/16 thick. What kind of a national company specializing in TV installation does not have the tools for that? I could understand charging more because of the 3D panels complicating the job. But simply cancelling the job for that reason is unprofessional.

Anyway. I came to Yelp and contacted Primo because of all the positive reviews. I got a reply to my text within 15 min. I spoke to a very pleasant woman over the phone who helped schedule my installation.

The 2 installers who came to do the job arrived on time. They were able to pinpoint exactly where the metal studs were in the drywall. No unnecessary cutting/drilling. All wires were hidden as requested. My TV was attached exactly where I wanted it.

Very happy with the level of communication from start to end.

I requested a quote from Yelp on Friday and they were in my house Saturday. The did such an amazing job mounting my tv, installing my

Let me just start off by saying that I had a scheduled appointment with a company called puls at 10am and one of the techs called and wanted to come later. I told him no because I had to go to work and he never responded back and called the company and said I cancelled. Fucking idiot. I work alot so I barely have time,but I did my research and found Primo tv.

Not only they did respond immediately, they send a guy over to mount my TV within the hour. Price was excellent and Oscar came and did an amazing easy and quick job. Oscar asked me if I wanted to hide the wires but I told him no, kinda wish I did but the owner of the house was already skeptical about me putting the TV on the wall so I just left it as  it.

Very professional and I'm glad I got my tv mounted on the wall from this company. Would definitely recommend to friends/family

Amazing job can't even begin to say. Guys hung my TV over my fireplace. They had to take electric from a outlet on the ground and run it up the wall through two studs and put an outlet over the fireplace. They did it flawlessly and left absolutely no mess whatsoever. The holes they put in the wall they put back and patched up. I was responsible for sanding and painting which wasn't a problem because I just moved in and just painted so you can't even tell they put holes. Amazing service I will call them anytime I need any seevice

These guys are awesome. From the prompt response time to the actual work, they were great. I had 2 TVs mounted, and he did the job flawlessly, and it took him no time. I was so impressed, not only did I refer them to a friend of mine who had 2 TVs mounted a week later, but I also called them back for handyman work. I needed a bunch of artwork and mirrors hung. They sent out 2 handymen who were very professional and made sure that I was satisfied with everything before they moved to the next item.

Most importantly (to me) is that they also have later working hours. I usually don't get home from work before 7pm and they were still able to accommodate me. That's pretty hard to find.

I will certainly be contacting them for any future handyman work that I need and anytime that someone asks for tv mount/handyman recommendations, Primo is first on the list!

Very happy with the level of communication from start to end. All scheduling was done via Yelp messages and I received a phone call 30 minutes prior to arrival.

Phnonmial experience! So glad I found this company. Super fast rest (they booked me and had the team out the next day). The women I spoke to on the phone to book the installation, Indiana, is fantastic. She is friendly, efficient and super accommodating. I asked a million questions and she answered them all and was patience the entire time.

The guys that did the job were professional, courteous and quick! They made sure the job was done well and exactly how I wanted it.

Today was my second time using Primo's service to install two Samsung Frame TVs (43 and 55) and to say I was pleased with their service is an understatement! I first used their service in January of 2019 to install my 43 in an old brownstone building. They had the Frame seamlessly up against the wall in minutes. When I was in the market again this month, I immediately reached out. They were able to schedule time very quickly. They go above and beyond to provide speedy service without sacrificing the quality.. and at very fair prices!  Neville and his teammate were very professional and complied with social distances/covid procedures.

I will continue to use Primo and recommend them to my friends! Thank you Primo!!

Super disappointing! They came for initial consult, didn't show up for the job, nor called to say why they were delayed. I called later and they promised to come the next day, they never showed and is not  answering my calls to find out what the delay is.

Let me start of with the positive - these guys showed up on time and and on short notice.... With that being said my 70 TV now sits side ways b/c the mounts they use are total garbage.  I was told that these particular mounts tilt sideways? WHY ARE YOU USING DEFECTIVE MOUNTS? (I was told this after the install was complete) - take a look at the photos I posted it looks totally ridiculous and now i have to pay another company to come and fix their mistakes. Not to mention my sound bar is NOT in the middle of my TV... If I wanted a crappy job I could have just done the job myself and saved the money. The install guys were nice and tried their best but their work just isnt that great and there is no way a company that mounts TV's on walls for a living should be selling wall mounts that dont work properly - I cant move my TV b/c if i do it tips all the way to one side.

** QUICK UPDATE - Braulio (the owner) reached out immediately to me after my post and offered to come and fix the work himself. I passed b/c I found another company to fix it but it was a solid move by Braulio to make it right!

We just closed on our home last week, and with my fiancé and I having completely different work hours we only had this weekend to get our house together.  We called Primo who was originally scheduled to come on Sunday, but we took a chance and called them to see if they could come instead today (Saturday) - which is also Memorial Day weekend! Talk about last minute! And on top of that, we're on the south shore of Long Island and they would have to come on short notice from the city.  Happy to say they made it happen for us - and were literally at our front door in less than 2 hours.  

On top of amazing service (they're really great people - friendly and happy to answer any questions you may have), their work is impeccable.  We had 4 TVs mounted to our wall, handyman work done, as well as they installed our Nest wireless door lock.  We're so happy with them and if you're reading this review considering whether or not to use their services, I can promise you that you'll be very happy.  If something isn't right, they fix it.  They won't leave you dissatisfied.  Thanks Primo and we'll see you guys very soon!

Wow wow wow ! I hired The guys at primo home services to hang some shelves and other wall decor items. They were so efficient , fast and professional !!! To top it off they  were kind enough to help me with other miscellaneous touch ups . I'm so grateful , and satisfied . I will definitely use them again in the future ! :-)

After my initial review (over a year ago), the owner Braulio reached out to me about my experience and offering to do whatever he could to make sure I had nothing less than perfect service. Fast forward to today... I recently moved and reached back out to him recently to set up a TV mount installation at my new placed. Since I still had the original mount the service was $75. We set up an appointment next day via text (which makes things so much easier).

The guys came and were in and out in 20 minutes. The new installation was on a brick wall and it came out great. I really appreciated how they also made sure to cover the wires and make sure our Apple TV was connected and hidden behind the TV (making things look sleeker since it's above the fireplace.

Thank you Braulio for your professionalism and amazing service.

I live in a loft with brick walls.  I saw a photo of a TV they had done over a brick fireplace so I knew these were my guys!  I left a message, and I was called back in 10 minutes.  I was quoted a price for the TV and the soundbar which was more than fair.  They called me on the day of the installation to say they could come early.  Bonus!  They were professional, friendly and courteous.  They asked for a dustpan to clean up from the drilling.  They reset the TV for me.  All of this in an hour.

I recommend you call them first, they truly give Primo service.

Primo TV returned my call in a few minutes and were very easy to work with. I had to reschedule to an earlier date and they were able to accommodate me without issue.

I needed to get the mount itself put together and the tv mounted onto it with no wires in view. Thought it would take some time but those boys came in and knocked it out quick! They took the time to show me how to troubleshoot common wiring issues, cleaned up, and even offered to program the TV.

All was done for a very reasonable price compared to the great service. I have already recommended them to friends and family. Awesome job!

It's so rare to have expectations. Interactions w Primo from the onset were professional, timely and friendly. I shopped around and received about 5 quotes and Primo's was the most competitive. They offer a free estimate. During the estimate Mike was super helpful, he suggested the perfect mount for my needs and found ways for me to save money.

They returned the COI my building requires within 2 days. Superior service and courteous, these guys really go above and beyond. I told them to leave the mess when they asked for a vacuum but they insisted on cleaning up! They set everything up for me and made sure I was ok before leaving and said I could txt or FaceTime with any questions if I needed help.

This company is amazing!  I rarely post reviews but their work was so good that I want to recommend them to anyone who needs TV / electronics installation. The installer team knew exactly what needed to be done to mount a new 65 OLED + soundbar.  They mounted, connected, set everything up, tested, and hid all of the wiring.  Pre-war building but they knew how to mount safely.  Start to finish was less than 45 minutes.  I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company.  Great communication on setting up the appointment, getting the COI in place, letting me know 30 minutes before their arrival.  Perfect service!

Without a doubt the most reasonable and professional home entertainment installation company I've ever dealt with.  They're not snakes, or swindlers, just honest good people who will do an amazing job hanging your TV's and connecting everything.  They stand by their work, and won't leave you hanging if something goes wrong.

Both the scheduler and technician (Oscar) were incredibly helpful and friendly. The scheduler was incredibly responsive by text and phone and was able to have the technician at my apartment quickly. I have used their services several times. They have mounted 3 TVs for me. One in my bedroom, one in the living room over a fire place/mantel along with concealing the wires and one tv in my basement. All three TVs look great and the work is very neat. The gentlemen that did the installations were very polite and prompt with their arrival time. The ease of scheduling an appointment is very easy and they respond fairly quick to inquires. I would definitely recommend them just as I did for my mom in which she liked their work also.

Neville was prompt and responsive over text regarding scheduling and pricing, and also got me a COI at the last minute.  He does a great job with making sure everything is good to go before the installer arrives.  Tony then did an impeccable job when he arrived of selecting the right tilt mounts for my 70 inch and 48 inch tvs and also did a great job mounting my sound bar and rear speakers.  Made sure everything was straight, properly set up and made it clear that we could let him know if there were any issues moving forward.

I would not recommend using anyone else in NYC other than Primo if you want your tv and speakers cleanly and professionally mounted for a fair price.  Will only use Primo moving forward.

REALLY HIGH STANDARD!!!
I am totally speechless.  Those guys really deserve their great reputation.I've been looking for years and I've never found anyone like them. I am Italian, from Milan, I know I could be quite picky, but I only have High design furniture in my apartment and I want things to be just perfect. Well, They did my WHOLE apartment:
They were able to hang Huge paintings, huge mirrors, shelves, curtains, television,plus molding, wires.... EVERYTHING!
Super Professional super clean, super precise. super patient. Super fast, Super AFFORDABLE!

I am highly disappointed with the company. As my prior review stated I've been using this company to mount my TVs each time I've moved (maybe 3 times). Each time the prices were reasonable and the work was great. This time I reached out to get the same services done again and the prices have increased drastically. The price that i paid to mount 3 TVs in the past is now how much I am being quoted to mount 2 TVs and I've been quoted more than I paid to initially mount the TVs to take them down. No one was willing to work with me as a client that always uses them and the only explanation is that prices go up each year. It's really unfortunate.

The entire process was seamless. I sent a message on Thursday and was able to book an appointment for Saturday. My appointment window was 9-11. Braulio called me at 8:45 am to let me know he would be at my apartment in 10 minutes.... got there and installed my AC in under 10 minutes!!! He was explaining what he was doing every step of the way. When he was done, he even offered to take the garbage! GREAT service all around. If I could give this company 10 stars I would!! If you're having any doubts about using them, get those thoughts out of your head! I highly recommend these guys for any installation needs. I will definitely be using them again in the future!

These guys were grrrreeeeeaaaatttttt! Scheduled an appointment a week beforehand. D and his assistant were on time (if not a little early) and had my TV up within an hour. The whole shebang (cost of bracket and install) was about $25 more than the price of the bracket I looked at on the Best Buy website. I'm still amazed at how quick and efficient their services are. I just moved into a new apartment and wanted to get my tv mounted. Within 24 hours of contacting them, I now have a perfectly mounted tv with no wires showing. They are super professional, very neat and they even cleaned up after themselves when they were done. The phone attendant was very rude after getting the Certificate of Insurance messed up.

I sent over the COI via email and scheduled an appointment. I'd just started a new job and had to pay someone to be at home when they arrived. Upon arrival, they had no COI, and therefore wouldn't be able to enter the building.

I called the same woman I spoke to on the phone to schedule the service. She was unbelievably immature and rude when I asked her if she hadn't received my COI, and asked if she could fill it out then, and sent it to me. She took it to an unprofessional level when I asked if she hadn't received the COI, and refused service to me. I still don't understand what happened and have used Primo for something before, but won't be doing so again unfortunately.

So this review is long awaited. Primo installers came to my house a while ago and i thought i already made a review.   So here we go they were professionals throughout the work even though my wife was a headache on where to install the tv they were patient and respectful. Arrived when they said they would and gave me a direct price quote. They installed my tv on the wall and showed me different options how to put it up. After hearing so many great things about Primo Home Services regarding high-end video/sound systems ..we booked an appointment with Stephanie( after speaking and also requesting Neville for the install)

They showed up on time, and EXPERTLY installed our Samsung Q70r and Bose 700 Sound system.Neville and his colleague were at our home for about 3 hours,and after the install...programmed everything into ONE single remote.

My sister used this company to hang up her TV and sound bar and they did such a great job. I ended up hiring them a year later to do the same. So I found primo tv installation on Instagram. I decided to follow and was impressed by their work.

I texted primo tv installation inquiring about pricing and got a quick response! That was a plus for me.

I scheduled an appointment this morning and got an appointment for the afternoon. I was impressed with the quick and great work.

They came in set up and everything was done in a blink of an eye! They were about their business and I loved it. My mom stayed with them while they worked and she loved how great they were.

Then after they were don't they cleaned up after themselves. They asked for a broom and dust pan and left everything the way they found it!

I am so happy with promo tv installation! I definitely am recommending them to my friends! I already have a few that will be calling them including my mom.

Move to Manhattan and find out oh crap, I have no space!  Throw stuff out, hide shoes under your bed, but where's that flatscreen TV going?  Reached out to the team at Primo to mount my 55 LED on our plaster wall and install a couple shelves.

Was very easy to set up a time, and even had the team text me they could come earlier if I was available.  Once the arrived, it was all business and within an hour they were done.  It looks awesome, they were fantastic, and I don't know why anyone would use a different service.

I've used these guys twice now in two different apartments and I have to say, for the money these guys are great. In both instances, the mounting job was tricky, involving a heavy 60 plasma mounted on brick.

For the second job, the mount that I already had wasn't wide enough for the studs in my wall and Tony was able to supply me with the right bracket on the spot for only $25. I was pretty impressed.

Nice guys, a fair price and good quality work. Can't ask for much more.

I know, I know, you are all probably tired of reading 5 star reviews for these guys already. But...they were such a delight, I just can't help myself...

I reached-out to a bunch of companies via yelp to install a ceiling mounted yoga swing, not only did Braulio get back to me fastest, he had the lowest quote and, unlike a few other companies, felt confident from pics of my house and the swing that he could do the install.

Sure enough, 1 hour later and I have a fully functional yoga swing up for $200. All of us had fun testing it out too!

You will not regret using Primo for whatever your instillation needs may be. Professional, safe, timely and cool. 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2nd time I request their services. This time was for an AC wall unit installation. They removed the old AC ( A Dinosaur) and installed a new unit. The process was a little complicated, but they went above and beyond to make sure they were able to complete the task.

They came to my place on time and the communication before setting the appointment was fast and extremely professional.

Making appointment was smooth.  Transaction was also easy and trustworthy.  You call, ask for services, get a quote, schedule based on availability (I called on a Friday they were available the very next day).  Got an invoice and paid online.
Smooth and easy.

We needed someone who knew the craft well to help my mother in an apartment where walls are hit or miss.  We also wanted someone who spoke Spanish and can put her at ease.

We had Mike do the installation.  He was right on time.  Gave us a call to make sure he understood what she needed.  He went in and was extremely professional and efficient.  He was very kind and polite my mom felt comfortable with him and his work.   He even sent us a picture with the final product.  

We truly appreciate the extra mile he went to communicate with us before and after as my mom does not know how to maneuver phones and technology so well.

I needed my TV mounted on the wall in the apartment I just moved into.  I contacted Braulio for a quote through Yelp.  Believe all of these five-star reviews - they're well-deserved!

Braulio was prompt and courteous in answering my request and I was able to have them complete the job the next day.  The two technicians from Primo did an awesome job wall mounting my TV and hiding the wires with Wiremold.  They were quick, clean, and courteous, finishing the job in a half hour, including patching holes that the previous tenant left me with and cleaning the floor after installation.

I would definitely book with them again if needed in the future.  Great service!

UPDATE: Changed from one to five stars. After being contacted by the owner (which you can see below), we worked together to quickly come up with a plan to correct the work that was previously done. The guys who came to fix it were super nice, really thoughtful, and took great care in ensuring my TV and sound system were perfectly set up. No charge to me. They ended up changing out the bracket which made a huge difference. We had to order a new part and the owner kept me updated on everything and also completely accommodated my schedule to make this right. I'd recommend these guys given this level of service and follow-up but if you have a large TV, you should demand to work with their best people who have experience with large TVs.

Super disappointing experience overall. I hired them to install three TVs. The people are super nice and friendly but after three visits, I'm now looking for someone else to come and fix their work. Visit one: they didn't test the sound system and so my Bose home theater didn't work. Visit two: I asked them to come back and install a Roku, which they plugged into the back of the TV (there's a very ugly jumble of wires, which should be in the wall but they're not) and used electrical tape to mount the device to the TV, which fell off once the electrical tape warmed up. I can also no longer have the TV flat -- it has to stay at an angle because there are too many cables in the back. Visit three: they were supposed to fix the optical input that was broken during visit one or two. The person who showed up said they needed to send their tech to fix it and he rigged the cord for the optical cable in the jumble of wires in the back. It works but when you spend good money on a sound system and TV, it shouldn't be rigged to work. They never followed up as promised and I decided to look elsewhere to fix their work. And all this time my TV is crooked and is starting to come off the wall on one side. Pros? They're really inexpensive and really nice, at least for the first two visits. The two smaller TVs they installed are totally fine. Maybe larger TVs and sound systems just aren't their thing. If you have a large TV, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

My boss purchased a 65 inch TV and needed it to be installed.  FYI- he is a surgeon...hanging TV's isn't his thing.  I went onto Yelp and began my search.  I found Primo Home Services and gave them a call for a quote.  I passed along the information to my boss who was in shock...he said, why is it so cheap? who are these people? do they know what they are doing?  I said that they have 5 stars on Yelp and excellent reviews.  Although hesitant, he told me to make an appointment for installation.  When I came back to work on Monday, I must admit, I was a bit nervous.  I asked him how the installation went and he LIT UP!  He wouldn't stop raving about the INCREDIBLE job they did!  He said that he was impressed from start to finish.  They had all the parts that he needed and even took the old TV away.  He HIGHLY recommends them to anyone looking for a TV installation.

Customer experience is great, Cesar was really helpful even considering this MM540 Pull Down TV Mount was a huge challenge. The TV looks great, he cleaned after the installation was completed and he had a very helpful and positive attitude to be Friday night and after spending 3 hours installing the device. I honestly believe they should have sent two people to install the TV, they should take better care of their employees. Apart from that, I'm very happy with the result and I trust them to help me in the future. Thanks a lot!

This time Jonathan came. He was running late, called to let know. Then checked in when he was on the way to give an ETA. He hung the tv on a mount that they previously installed. He asked my preferences before making any changes. He was quick and cleaned up after himself.

This is our second time using Primo for tv installation. Setting an appointment was easy & everyone on the team was pleasant & professional.

The first time was uneventful & the tvs were installed as requested. This time, I had them uninstall a tv from one apartment we were moving out of & move it to another apartment. We also had them mount a tv that we had already transported to the new apartment.

In a nutshell, they broke the tv they uninstalled during transport. There was no issue with the installation of the tv we already had in the apartment. I'm giving them 5 stars because what happened afterwards is an example of great customer service. They stayed in constant communication with me & provided a replacement tv to us with 48 hours. We would have received the replacement even sooner (within 24 hours) but I wasn't available for them to stop by. The replacement tv is an upgrade from the tv we had & there was no hassle at all with getting it installed in a timely fashion.

They broke it & then made it right quickly. Everyone we came across was apologetic & willing to do whatever necessary to make us happy with the experience. The tvs were installed, wires managed & they cleaned up after themselves. We had a hiccup but I'm not unreasonable. I understand that stuff happens. I just really appreciate the stellar customer service! I highly recommend Primo & would use them again for my tv installation needs.

Great service! They had a really fast response on yelp when asking for a quote. Got them to come out the next day. It was a one man show for a 42 and sound bar. Wanted the wires behind the wall but the building structure prevented that. However they did bring the little plastic strip to hide the wires. Took less than an hour to do everything and it came out great. Also he maintained a very small mess which was great for a neat freak like me lol. Price wasn't bad after shopping around with a couple of others. Would definitely recommend them.

KUDOS TO PRIMO TV INSTALLATION!  As another Yelper said...IF YOU'RE READING THIS AD, STOP AND SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT NOW. YOU'VE GOT NOTHING TO LOSE. (Except the extra money you will lose paying the larger companies).

I cannot begin to describe the professional and courteous service I received this evening. I called Primo a little before 6:00 pm to mount my 42 TV in the living room and was happily surprised when he informed me that Neville and his partner would be at my apartment at 7:30 pm (I had assumed I would need to wait a day or so to schedule an appointment).  Neville texted me to confirm and was polite and professional even via text!

7:30 pm on the dot, my doorbell rang and in an instant, Neville and his partner (I think his name was Tony) started to work.  They both paid meticulous attention to detail and the precision in mounting the TV was amazing.  They even cleaned up after themselves!  Seriously, when have you ever had someone do work in your place and clean up after themselves????

Do not waste your $ buying a wall mount, cables, or anything else you might need for the installation from Best Buy, PC Richard, etc.  Primo's prices are unbeatable.  And, they are HONEST.  I thought I would need an outlet installed but, Neville simply said No need to spend the $, do you have an extra extension cord?  Eureka, due to his honesty, knowledge and professionalism, he saved me $$!!!

These guys knew what had to be done, were professional, polite and their price is unbeatable!  They hooked up my Roku and showed me how to use my new TV since I'm technologically impaired!  LOL!!

I have already recommended them to 3 friends and stand by that recommendation.  Do not waste your money on Geek Squad or any other TV installation company you find on Craigslist.

The owner came with two guys to see how they performed. They were nervous but did a great job. He walked them through how they should interact with customers and I appreciated that. It's nice knowing the owner takes pride in his business and workers. I would recommend them to anyone.

You can tell Primo has been doing this awhile. I called him on a Friday night around 9 or 10PM to install my LED tv and I asked him what time would he would be able to come he said tomorrow morning (Saturday). He comes in on Saturday morning at 7:30AM with two backpacks ready to roll. Goes to the wall and asks me how high it should be, showed him and boom he's working. I'd probably say about he finished the installation in about 20 minutes? He made it look so easy. When I need another TV installed I'm going to call him back. Oh by the way, Primo was on time.

Hands down worth every dollar paid. These guys are great. On time, tv installed and cleaned after themselves. Excellent mounting skills with options available to accommodate your needs. Braulio was great and had answers to every question I had. Installed my 65 no cables, cable box or PlayStation visible in to a brick fire place. Don't hesitate to hire them you won't regret it.

They are the TRUTH! Round of applause to Primo TV Installation. They actually surprised me that they got to my location 5 minutes early coming all the way from Washington Heights. You can tell Neville knew exactly what he was doing. The precision that he has in mounting both soundbar and my 62 inch is amazing. End result ? Perfection. Seamless. Amazing.

I just had my television hung by Mike and Luigi both of them were extremely professional and very friendly and nice. Mike was very thorough explaining everything he was going to be doing and helped me make a decision on exactly how high to hang the TV it took them less than one hour to do the installation they were very neat and very clean,before they got here they called me to confirm the time and let me know an even smaller window of when they were going to be here and they were right on time...the whole process was very convenient I didn't need to have the mount they brought one with them and they even concealed my wires unfortunately not behind the wall because I have a cement wall which they could have done, but it was more entailed than what I wanted to do at the moment ...they also were able to hide my cable box and my Apple TV with the use of a sensor so everything is very clean and neat exactly the way I was hoping. I highly recommend them if you need your TV hung they gave me an appointment in one day so I didn't have to wait which is great for me since i'm the kind of person that when I make a decision that I want to do something I always want to do it ASAP and that's exactly what I got from this company

This is by far the best work I've ever had done in NYC. this group were SO professional - from leasing with them about my (very) strict building requirements, to organizing the install to the actual service. Agree with the rest of the yelpers - if you're looking for a great company in the NYC area to do the job, stop the search here. Primo is awesome. Very accommodating to my schedule and showed up to do the job in less than 12 hours. They called to inform me when they were on their way and downstairs. Upon arriving, they were very professional and respectful, you could also tell they knew what the hell they were doing. They helped me eye it up, talked me through the process and the dove in. Pedro did the job and even talked me through some of the steps since I wanted to have a better idea of how to do this with other electrical items. He did an impressive job at concealing the wires behind the wall, and even hung a shelf that I had purchased before. He kept the area clean, vacuuming several times and even cleaned again at the end to make sure it looked just right.

Trust me - give these guys a call if you need anything mounted!!! Pedro's the man and very skilled.

Used three times so far all at different places and they are always on time and do a great job. Only complaint is I had to pay $30 extra dollars to receive a certificate of insurance for my building. A COI is typically free, it's the insurance coverage that costs money.

I made an appointment to hang a 55 inch tv to my living room wall. I made the appointment 10 days in advance. The guys showed up half an hour early. They quickly assessed that I had a concrete wall and had the proper equipment to mount a fixed, tilting mount. They worked quickly and efficiently and was able to recommend the proper viewing height of my tv judging from their experience. I was very happy with their service. As an added bonus, they provided a free extra wide wire cover with beautifully conceals my hdmi, power and ethernet cables from view. When I have another tv to hang, I will definitely call Primo back for the job.

I just had Jeff and another member of the Primo Team wall mount two TVs of mine. I chose Primo because they not only gave me the best pricing, but also this pricing included the wall mounts which is apparently rare. I reached out on Sunday and was able to have my TVs mounted on Friday.

Jeff arrived within the time frame we discussed, and he and his partner were friendly, efficient and left no mess. Overall, it was a quick and easy experience for me, and I would definitely recommend their services.

They also mentioned that if I have any issues to let them know and they can come back and fix it. Bonus points for being able to pay with credit card.

Love these guys. I've used them twice and both times, they were able to come the same day and on time, even earlier.m the 2nd time. They work very quickly, quietly, and are polite. I will always go back to them whenever I move and need a TV hung up in the house. Highly recommend them. It's $100 per TV and they also can provide the tv wall mounts.

My only complaint and the reason for four stars is that I asked if they take CC before the work was completed. When they said yes, they didn't say there was a $15 fee. These guys did a fantastic job. I contacted them through their website and Primo himself got back to me immediately via text message to confirm his availability and the job details.

On the day of the appointment, Primo and his team arrived 10 minutes early and had my 60 pound flatscreen perfectly mounted into a brick wall in 25 minutes flat. I was absolutely impressed by their speed, professionalism and affordable rates. Highly, highly recommended.

Found these guys on Yelp. First of all, they were extremely responsive, making it easy to schedule the appointment. Plus, they asked good questions to figure out an accurate quote (much better than other service providers did). But most of all, they showed up on time and took the initiative to do an even better job than I expected.

I thought they were just going to hang the TV and maybe tidy up the wires, but they found a way to stash my DirecTV box, Apple TV, and all of the wires behind the TV itself. It looks fantastic and functions well. Totally reasonably priced too. Plus, the installers were friendly and professional. Really couldn't have asked for more.

Overall, I am not pleased with the service Primo TV Installation provided.  We hired this company to mount our television and to hang up two curtain rods.

The good: The young man was very punctual and polite. Even though I am not impressed with the quality of the work overall, the television stayed on the wall and never fell. It was decently centered and leveled.

The bad:  The young man they sent was clearly inexperienced and now I can no longer use my television stand.  When he mounted my TV, he chose to forcibly separate the television from the television stand instead of UNSCREWING it. This damaged my television stand and now I have broken screws stuck in the back of my television. I can no longer use my television stand and this is EXTREMELY annoying.

Also, the young man did a poor job hanging up the curtains. He made a mistake the drilled unnecessary holes in the wall for the first curtain rod. For the second one, he only installed two of the three brackets. He charged me the full amount for his incomplete/mediocre work.

I would think twice before I hire Primo again. At the very least, I'll be certain that they send someone who knows what they are doing.

Amazing experience. Fast response to schedule, beat everyone else's estimates. They were on time, worked fast, clean and so professional. They put up a 65 in TV in my living room and when my wall proved to not be a candidate for hiding wires within, they added wire concealers to both sets. The other TV was an older 42in in my bedroom. Again, amazing job. All of this in record time - 1 hr for both TVs.  Cannot beat their pricing either. Would highly recommend 1000 times!

My wife and I had our 55 Samsung curved TV hung in our living room with our soundbar. Tony did an incredible job. From the communication to the execution of the work, it was outstanding. The service was quick, and Tony was patient with us as we moved the location of the TV a couple of times. Also, because our soundbar needed a special bracket, Tony told us what we needed and then came back to finish the job. Hands down, a 5 star service with great pricing to match! I reached out to Primo TV because of all of the excellent Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed.  Not only did they have the best price, but Tony and Eddie installed our two 55 flat panels and XBOX Kinect camera quickly and exactly to our specification.  They even helped us clean up the wiring so there was no cable clutter that is usually associated with a complicated AV setup.

Great job! Also undid the terrible job left by the last person. Fast, friendly, knowledgable -- had some of their own mounting equipment ready when it became clear the one they were replacing was damaged irreparably by the first attempt.

Even moved shelves around and reinstalled the shelf pegs in order to get a clean finished look. Quote was slightly more than expected, but so was the workload.

This is an edited review.  

This was the second time I used Primo. The first time went well. However, this time did not initially. Same TV and same mount, but in a new apartment. The guy in charge on this job, Oscar, did not communicate with me for anything. I showed where I wanted the TV and he started the job. Brand new apartment never had a single hole. He eyeballed everything, drilled about 10 holes (only needed 4) including an extra large hole that he had to filled in with spackle. Then he said he could not do in the wall wiring which was what I said I wanted over the phone. So he then attempts to do it, but placed the access hole very close to where the edge of the tv would be instead of in the middle, so if I ever get a new TV that is smaller I may have problems because it would be visible and I have a bunch of wires tangled up behind my tv. When all was finished, my tv was slanted and not where I wanted it in the room and there's a bunch of extra holes in the wall that were unnecessary if he had just measured.

Also, he was nice enough to help me put the stand on my new tv and lift it because I needed a second person. But he put the stand on using a drill even though I said not to. Sure enough he did scratch the back of the tv (brand new $3500 tv) and we spent about 15 minutes looking for a screw he dropped, he wanted to just use any screw, but thats ridiculous.

BUT THEN, my hero, Mike, came to the rescue after Braulio the owner responded to my review. Let me first say, Mike was very professional. He listened to all of my concerns, explained everything to me, moved the tv mount to be where I wanted, stabilized the TV in a perfectly level position. He also offered to help with fixing the walls once I move out. He also made the wires behind the TV much more sleek and ziptied. If I ever need some help with my TV again I will ask for Mike and no one else. If the job had started with Mike, this would be a 5 star review.

Had my 55 inch SAMSUNG TV mounted. The guys were very professional. They completed the job fast and efficient. While mounting the tv they did scratch the paint off the wall which was fine bc the tv hides the scratches. So after installing the tv, they left. I have no issues with the installation but i hate the tv mount. I had to attach something to the outlet so I removed the tv off the mount. The guys told me I could put it up 1 more peg to make it higher. I thought the tv was a little low so after putting something in the outlet, the tv is so hard to get back on. Had so many issues getting the tv to put back on the mount I scratched the wall a little more. I wish it was a little easier to put back on the mount.  Overall the install was great but i hate the mount.

After the geek squad screwed me, I read a few reviews on this company and everyone was right. On short notice they were able to accommodate me . Quick turnaround on the COI. Shout out to my installer Tony. Tony was amazing, I had two of the wrong mounts and he had a few in the truck. He gave me some tips on concealing the cable box and wires. The service + the mounts were half the price of Best Buy. Without a doubt I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for this service. Keep up the good work!

Braulio and Jorge were amazing. They installed two flat screens for us, using the same wall, one on each side.

They were thorough and detail-oriented, not just regarding the mechanics of the installation, but the appearance, as well, making sure that no wires were showing. I was nervous about having all that weight on our wall, and he hung off the installation (see the pic I uploaded) to show me that the weight could be supported.

I insisted I would tidy up after they left, but they tidied up themselves, cleaning up dust and stuff from the wall that made its way to the floor. Because they used precise measurements, they didn't make any unnecessary holes in the wall. They also hooked up our new Bose system, too, and made sure we knew how to use everything before they left. It took them a couple hours in the afternoon to do both televisions; they didn't waste a second and were working hard the whole time.

Hire these guys to do the job. You will not be disappointed.

Primo fixed my TV remote control. They were polite and professional.  I called them back five weeks later for a similar problem, which turned out to have been my fault.  They fixed it in 10 minutes and didn't even charge me for the visit.  I highly recommend Juan and Neville, and will call them in the future.

I used Primo again for a second time a year ago and totally forgot to update the review.

I had some other requests besides mounting a TV and they didnt flinch. They unmounted my old TV w/shelving unit, covered all holes in my apt (i was moving out), unmounted a wall cabinet, and then delivered said wall cabinet to my new apt.

They mounted both of my tv's, mounted the wall cabinet, and even installed an outlet. The service was great and the price was very fair.

Highly Recommend! Professional, punctual, efficient and very knowledgeable. My husband and I were extremely satisfied with the excellent work John and Steven did mounting our 70 TV. From beginning to end it was a pleasure. Even after having come across a bit of a hiccup with our wall, they were able to work around it and do a superb job AND still be able to finish the job as quick as they did. They went above and beyond making sure the TV was secured well.  On top of that, they make sure to keep a clean work station and even clean up any debris that fell from the wall. We also really appreciated that they kept us informed of the the steps they were taking and why and they also helped us selecting the best location and positioning of the TV for optimal viewing. Additionally, they helped set up the cable box and DVD player. I cannot truly express how pleased we were with their professionalism and efficiency. Thank you guys so much!! I feel obligated to write this review because mounting TV properly on the wall is a big deal especially when you have young children in the house.

About 8 months ago we hired Primo TV to install 2 TVs in our apartment. The scheduling process was pleasant. The owner was accommodating to our schedule. On the day of the TV installation, two men showed up on time. They got started on the job right away. And up til then, things started to go wrong.

1.  The man who was assigned to put screws on the TV was holding the TV upright with one hand while trying to put the screws in with another. We have a 62 inch TV. He was so careless that the TV fell frontward! Luckily my husband was standing next to him and helped catch the TV so that there was no damage. If my husband were not there, the TV would have smashed on the coffee table and cracked the screen.

2. The man who handles the drilled on the wall must have drilled at least 6 holes on the wall before he found a right place to mount the TV. I don't understand why he could not use the device he had to identify the right mounting spot. Now our wall has a few ugly holes on, although they are behind the TV and cannot be seen. But to me, this is not professional work done.

Because the entire experience seemed so unprofessional, my husband and I do not feel safe about the mounted TV. I have a one year old child at home, every time when my child went close to the TV, I always paranoid about the TV mount fell off the wall and the TV falling on my child. I keep checking behind the TV every day, and now one side of the mount seems to come off from the wall a little bit. I don't even know if it is normal or not. For the safety of my child and everyone in the house, I might have to hire someone to check whether the TV mount was properly installed and secured.

Primo is the BEST!

Called Primo because I had a leak under my sink.  Ceasar came over with all the materials (I'm far from a plumber) and took care of everything in under 10 minutes! I was shocked and grateful all at the same time.  Those Primo guys are something special.

They are fabulous!  I have an extremely heavy 58 plasma TV and they were able to mount it on a concrete wall in 1/2 hr.  They were on time, professional, and made the job look easy.

They did a great job and cleaned up afterwards.

I spent 2 months in BestBuy/ Geek Squad hell trying to get my large  high-end flat panel installed along with Bose sound bar. When Geek Squad cancelled their appointment for the 4th time I found Primo on Yelp. He got someone over to me the same day!!! And he was very reasonable and professional, and the installer he sent (Mike) was awesome. A bracket was missing for the bose they sent Tony and Caesar out the following week after the bracket arrived at no charge to finish the bose install, and they of course did an amazing job.

These guys are pros - 100% recommend. Thanks for saving the day.

Clean job, great service. The gentleman who called ahead of the service asked all the right questions and came in fully prepared with certificate of insurance for my building and everything they needed to complete the install efficiently. Very quick response on Yelp and was able to set up my appointment quickly. Reasonable price, fast work but at the end of my installation (after the tv was mounted) there was a scratch on the screen that had not been there prior to wall mounting. Because the tv had just been purchased I was able to get a replacement tv but ended up remounting the tv myself rather than calling them back.

Fast service, frustrated with the scratch but glad I was able to return my TV no problem at the store.

I called Primo to install my tv in my first apartment. They were timely even from my first text. One of the guys called me to let me know they'd be arriving around 2:30 but ended coming earlier which I always prefer. Oscar and Jeff mounted my tv along with a shelf I purchased. They were extremely professional and quick. They kept offering to sweep my floor where my previous tv chest was and I told them there was no need because I had so much cleaning to do anyway. Sure enough they found my broom and swept the area. My mom was here during the installation and at first she thought I was crazy for looking into this company and not even half way through the installation she was saying how she was going to contact them too haha. I will most definitely be recommending Primo. There work speaks for itself!

Neville and Juan were an amazing team of tech geniuses! They were super fast and hard working to set up many elements of our new smart home: Sonos, Nanit (video dropcam), google wifi, Ring Video doorbell and tv install w/ Apple TV. I found Primo after being wow-ed by their 5 star mark on Yelp. They set up an appointment easily and were at my door within a few days. Two younger guys showed up, and while enthusiastic and hard-working, weren't exactly the most experienced. I had a projector wire-hiding job, a computer wire organization job, and a 55 TV mount install. They weren't able to attempt the projector wire-hiding at all, and the TV install was uneven and wobbly.

After I spoke with Neville about this, he and Mikey showed up the next day to remedy the situation. I thought they would maybe fix up the situation some what, but Neville went above and beyond. He basically re-mounted the entire TV, starting all the way from the very beginning, and made sure to balance the weight on the mount. After organizing the computer wires, Neville and Mikey went on to complete the projector job with ease. Everything looked great after they were done! Neville and Primo are guys who clearly take pride in their work and reputation. Neville refused to accept any monetary payment for my gratitude (of which there was much), but I insisted on at least giving a tip.

These guys are the real deal and guarantee their work beyond just words. Primo will have my business for any additional installs or when I take my TVs down and need to fill in the holes. Thanks guys!

These guys are as good as the reviews say. They are super meticulous and take their time to make sure the job is done correctly. On top of doing a great job they actually had another mount to sell me at a totally reasonably price ($30) when my very expensive Sanus mount didn't work because my walls are too thin. All-in-all I'm really happy with the work these guys did.

oscar and jeff did an outstanding job mounting 2 tvs on my walls.

They're fantastic! We called them around 12p to hang our television and they were here by 2p. It was hung and they were walking out the door less than a half hour later.
Forget struggling with the folks at Best Buy and scouring the internet for the right wall mount. It's provided along with the service- you couldn't ask for more!

They were super attentive and patient patient. They took the time to measure the possible setup out and gave us options i.e. (Here or here? Here or here?) Then noticed what changes need to be made.  Quick, quality service.

Found Primo with a yelp search and I'm glad we did. We needed our tv hung above our fireplace and they did a great job. The job took about 30-45 minutes from beginning to end. Not only did they sweep up and triple check the cables, they also realized that there was a miscommunication with the quote I was given and charged me less than I originally thought. 10/10 recommend!

I think it is good Karma to write a review here, particularly because this is how I found Primo TV: through Yelp*!

They guys just left.  I looked on Yelp* at about 4:00PM this afternoon.  Called around 4:01PM.  I was expecting to wait a few days, but they added me on for the last appointment of they day.  By 6:30PM, they were calling me tell me they were on their way.  I was worried that they wouldn't have a place to park.  They told me that they had a third guy that waits in the car, so they don't really need to park.  They came in and worked for about 30 minutes.  They even cleaned up their own mess! (I already had my own mount from my last residence).  They charged me only $100 ($108.88 with tax).  Amazing service.

Call them.  You won't be disappointed.

Had my tv mounted by Primo's twice now.  They are awesome and do a great job.  Very professional and they clean up after themselves.  They make scheduling super convenient and show up on time!  They mounted our tv, hid the wires and hung our cable box on this wee discreet shelf under the tv!  Looks so clean!  I believe we had Mike and Jess and would totally recommend them to anyone in our building!

So I had the bright idea that i could mount a couple of tv's on my own...boy was I wrong. My journey started with amazon where i bought three tv's mounts convinced I could do it. I Missed UPS twice and was forced to make my way to the middle of no where in Maspeth...but that's another review. Anyway i got the mounts, downloaded a bunch of YouTube videos, and got to work. Three hours, three huge holes in my wall and a broke drill later my daughter and i were ready to throw the damn mounts out the window.

Yesterday I decided check around for TV installers and after hearing outrageous quotes, I found Primo TV installation, thanks to yelp. I called and not only was the price right the guy offered to come out immediately! I couldn't make it but he offered to come the next day and set a time.

He called to let me know they were on their way and there would be four guys. They installed three tvs in about 30 minutes. Very fast and professional. They even cleaned up after themselves. They offered to hide the wires for a small fee however I'm still indecisive about what i want i want hooked up so they offered to come back to install the shelves and add the molding.

I had my own mounts, but had i known about this business before hand i would have saved the headache and just purchased from them. For two reasons, 1) had i purchased the wrong mounts i would have had to send them back which wouldnt have happened, i would have just been out the money, 2) who the hell wants to deal with UPS, FedEx, or USPS, an buying from the store will cost you way more then what they charge They also provide 1 and 2 tier wall shelves, at a very good price.

I have no idea what that 1 star reviewer was talking about these guys are the best out there.  One other reviewer said they were late, there are so many reasons that could have caused that, an

BTW I actually called one of the other places back to find out why their prices were so much higher...they said more likely the other company wasn't insured...wrong. Oh yeah one more thing, my sister bought a tv from best buy and had them install hers..she paid OVER $300 and They gave her the molding to put up herself. Don't use geek squad or any of those other installers. it's a total waste of money. Support this business, Tip them and then leave a great review.

Oh they patched the whole I made in the Damn wall!

Mike and Jose came out to CT today to mount my sons tv in their room, I just so happened to be in Ny this morning and I took the ride to CT with them to my house, they let me sit in the front and everything :D Very courteous polite and professional. They mounted the tv exactly how I wanted it within a very short amount of time hiding the wires behind the wall too. Everything was super neat and organized and leveled perfectly. They even made sure they kept the work area clean and picked up after themselves. They were very friendly and funny, and got the job done quick and efficiently. We are having them come back again for the living room. And maybe again after that. Would recommend them any time and will hire them again. You kind of know how much a company truly cares about it's customers when they are willing to come back and correct a human error they did on their part free of charge after Christmas at that. There is really not much to say except that what you see in these yelp reviews by these customers is truly genuine and they are indeed 5 stars. You sense that the second they walk through your home and get to work asking minimum questions. Their confidence gives off instsnteanously. In addition, they send photos to their boss before, during and after the job. If the boss sees something he does not like, he tells the guys to alter plans best suited for situation. You get that sense that they care. Bottom line. If you need to install a wall mount, do not think. Just call them right away. Bottom line.

Tony and Mike mounted my tv and they did an amazing job.  I was able to book an appointment within 1 day of calling them (and came on a Saturday).  They arrived on time and were very friendly and courteous of my space.  They did a perfect job on the installation and cleaned up everything prior to leaving.  They even came prepared with something to cover the wiring which I ended up purchasing for a nominal amount (makes a huge difference and looks so nice).  

Overall, I would 150% recommend these guys. They said they will even come and uninstall the mount and patch the wall if I ever moved. Amazing service, friendly guys, and extremely reliable! THANKS SO MUCH!!

These 2 showed up and fix my issue and also took care of an annoyance my tv had that they fixed in an heartbeat, they also fixed my tv mount as it was slanted, since another person installed it a little sloppy. Absolutely amazing! They are quick, reliable, friendly and have unbeatable prices. I called at 945pm Saturday night asking about tv mounting and they came the following afternoon I received a full motion tv mount with Installation, multi glass tv shelving with installation and they concealed all the wires for only $240!!! On top of all this they even used a broom and dustpan to clean the area where they had been working. Best Buy was wanting to charge $250 just for tv installation and that didn't include the cost of shelving or the full motion mount! I never usually write yelp reviews but these guys were so incredible!!

I needed my flat screen mounted on brick and so I came across their ad on Craigslist. Once I placed the call, they arrived within 20 minutes and completed the job within 20 minutes. I thought I was going to have to make an appointment before making the call but they attended me right away. For $125 I got the wall mount, installation. I was a little hesitant installing a tv wall mount on brick, and so I'm glad I got some professionals to do it instead. Credit or cash were options for payment.

If I could, I would post multiple reviews for each time I've used Primo services. They have mounted and dismounted my TV in a very narrow wall space, fixed holes and other items in my walls left by other handymen and I plan to use them again for light installation and future tv mounting.
Primo and his team are super responsive, punctual, extremely considerate of your space, courteous and take pride in their work. Each time I've used them, I've not had to worry about cleaning up after them. And they are extremely efficient - always on time and finish way quicker than I expected.

I have been so busy enjoying my new mounted TV I forgot to mention that Primo TV installation is the best service around.

Not only were they accurate with the price, on time for their appointment the team I mean 3 of them to make sure it's done right. The team talk me through the entire installation process, rehooked up my TV, cables, and AppleTV so no wires are visible! Plus, insisted on cleaning up the mess and couldn't be happier with the team.

Awesome company, I set up an appointment with Primo on Sunday for next day Monday 3pm.  I had to send him a text in the morning asking to reschedule for 4pm, he obliged and arrived on time.  Primo arrived with his assistant/helper Oscar who was as nice and professional as his boss.  I have a 52 LED he dismounted my television from the stand I had it on unplugged my cable box, Dvd and sound bar neatly.  He then went to work, it took them all of 45 minutes total and the job was done.  I asked him if they would bring down my heavy steel and glass stand to the front area of my house and they quickly said yes and out it went.  It was a pleasure to do business with Primo who came and completed exactly what I asked for.  I will be using his services again.

Hired these guys to mount a tv and install a cabinet for me.  They were excellent!
Punctual, very precise, neat, polite.

I say if you want a job well done support Primo Installations, they do great work.  Great follow up and they do a better job than other big name companies.  It also helps that they are reasonably priced.

They really take their time to make sure the job is done right and they bring all the equipment so that you don't have to worry about any of the hassles.

These guys are GREAT. I called them in the morning and set up a same-day appointment for later that evening. They arrived right on time with all the necessary equipment, and got the job done perfectly and very efficiently. I have nothing but great things to say about them!

Just a tip: they also sell (and install) shelves for additional TV equipment, which was very helpful. Our living room looks infinitely better now, and we have Primo to thank for that!

Primo TV did a really fantastic job.  I contacted them via email and set up my appt. really easily. The 2 guys who mounted my TV were on-time, friendly, super-fast.  (It also helped that I had the area cleaned up and clear for them to work). They called 15 minutes before arriving so I could be ready.

I bought a 40 inch Samsung tv at Best Buy and priced out what it would cost to mount it on the brick wall of my apartment. I was shocked that the mount and mounting fee Best Buy would charge was $820.  After searching Yelp I found Primo and gave them a call. I was amazed that the $200 quote was less than 25% of what Best Buy had quoted me.

The next day - New Years Eve - my tv and glass cable shelf where mounted and my new tv was set up - including wifi, Netflix, etc.

We had a tougher job then expected because the wall we were installing on is cement. Upon arrival, Primo quickly assessed our wants and communicated multiple possible plans of action. Ultimately, the exact look we wanted took an extra trip back and some additinal money, but we are over the moon happy with the end result. Highly recommend!

Primo was awesome. Would give them 10 stars if I could. Easy to deal with on the phone, set a time for the appointment (which was the same day, a few hours later), arrived on time, and were incredible on the job.

Mounting a 60 inch television with a full motion mount is no easy task and the mounts are expensive. Primo's quote was cheaper than the most other wall mounts (which dont come with installation), they were in and out in 30 minutes, left the work area very clean, and after he finished up, offered to install my AC unit for free.

I'm actually writing this review almost two years late, and have never had an issue with the TV mount. It swings out when necessary and stays in its place when put away. Quality product, excellent experience.

Great installation! Everything is perfect. The installers, Richard and Cesar were quick, polite, and professional. They were on time and updated me with their arrival time when nearby. The bracket they used is well priced. They mounted my TV and Apple TV; finished the job with wire molding to cover the loose cables. I highly recommend using Primo installation.

I used Primo Installations twice. The first time I had a 60 inch tv put up in my living room and a floating media console.  They came on time, were very friendly, and did an excellent job.  The same guys came to hang up my second tv (a 40 inch) and floating glass shelves.  I requested a quote that morning and my installation was done that same night.  Again, excellent service.  I highly recommend Primo to anyone who needs to have a tv installed.  Their prices are very reasonable and the service is excellent.  I don't have any more televisions to install so not sure if I'll use them again any time soon but if I ever decide to put up my bedroom television, I will definitely be using them again.

I just moved and used these guys again. The kings of mounting televisions!!!!! So happy with their work, they are polite, well priced and professional. They even insisted on cleaning up the dust from the wall after I told them not to worry about it, I'd get it later. Really great people that do great work. My husband also used them in his bar to have flat-screens mounted and had great results, too.

Great prices, quick service, fantastic results. About a year ago these guys mounted a 55 for me. In and out in 10 mins perfect job. When I moved they came and unscrewed the bracket from the wall (I moved the TV separately) and mounted it in my new place. Can I give them six stars? I called Primo on Friday evening, and Saturday at noon they arrived to hang my 46 tv in a brick wall inside my built-in bookshelves. I was nervous, both because of the brick wall, and the fact that the opening in the built-in is very tight, so I knew the tv would have to be placed exactly right for it to fit there. I now know that I shouldn't have been nervous at all. These guys were awesome! Within an hour they had the bracket mounted, the tv hung, had cleaned up, and made sure I knew how to move the tv in and out of the shelves. I'll definitely be calling them in the future again!

Okay I've been meaning to write a review about these guys for a few weeks now. They installed a bayshore wall aquarium which I currently have saltwater fish in and my 65 inch Panasonic vt series plasma on a full-motion mount that was included with the install which was great! They hide the wires on both installs so there's nothing better to have a tank on my wall and no wires showing! These guys are awesome! No one will beat there prices which are the most affordable in the tri-state area or I would even go as far as saying the whole east coast to be honest! Very professional, humble, punctual and serious about there business! Keep up the great work guys best believe I'll be calling you again.....

Wow! That is all I can say. This is my 4th time using primo's service and I must say every single time is amazing. I called them the DAY OF and they came to my place to do the work. Neville and Justin came and not only set up one TV but two! They unboxed, set up my TV in my basement with all the speakers and everything. Then after moved my basement TV to my middle floor and hid all the wires and boxes behind the TV. I loves these guys work so much and have recommended them to all my family and friends.

I normally do not get inspired to write a review. Sure, I appreciate good service and im not a tough person to impress. I just have so much on my plate with work and other activites that to actually sit down and write a seems, welll, not that important. However, with the  exceptional service that I recieved from Primo Installation, the world has to know about my experience!!!!

I recently purchased a LED 55 TV and knew that I had to get this thing installed on my wall to get the wow factor. I started doing some research online and the instructions to get the tv installed were complicated to say the least. I priced out several places that install entertainment equipment (including Best Buy) and the price I was quoted from Primo Installation BLEW them out the water!

After reading the reviews on Yelp, I decided to go with Primo Installation and set up an appointment for the next day. The installation process was very painless. Braulio, the installer, explained to me everything that he was going to do and he also offered (but not imposed) his professional opinion on several things that I was on the fence about. After everything was installed he made sure my equiment was working properly.
He left no mess at all! (which i was scared about being that he hid the wires to through the wall)

I highly recommend Primo Installation to anyone that needs Tv's Installed or any other installations. They are very professional and are amazing to deal with.

We were seriously, seriously impressed with Primo!! My wife made an enquiry at about 9.30am today and by 12.45 the guys had arrived and fitted a tv in both the lounge and bedroom. They were friendly, very helpful with advice on positioning each tv and the work that they carried out was incredibly quick, clean and of an extremely high quality. And best of all, the total cost for the two installations was $350, which includes the two wall brackets. I don't think I could buy the wall brackets alone for less than $100, let alone the mess I would've made if I'd tried to do the job myself!

I really couldn't recommend Primo highly enough - if you live in NYC these are the people to call.

SOOO GREAT!

This is my first ever review. I felt I had to sign up for a yelp account just to give them a good review. I called Primo yesterday based on the good reviews I found on here. I have to say I was somewhat sceptical because their prices were so much lower than other companies I considered so I thought it may be lower quality but it was absolutely the best.

I scheduled an appointment for next day (today) at 12:30p which was their earliest appointment available. I received a text message early this morning letting me know an earlier appointment opened up in case I wanted to take it which was really appreciated though I stayed with the 12:30p appointment.

Neville and JR arrived right on time. They were extremely patient with helping us find the perfect spot for our TV. Last minute I felt I really wanted it in a different location and I felt really bad asking them but they were very polite and understood that its going to be in one place for a long time, and to make sure I was happy with it. They even helped me move my couch so I could put the TV on a different wall.

After all that it turns out my walls weren't made of the right material and they went out and got the parts they needed to make it work. They spent so much time with us making sure it was perfect and didn't even charge us extra for the delay. They were very friendly and professional and cleaned up everything themselves.

Like I said, I was so impressed by their level of service I signed up for this account just to give them a good review. I highly recommend Primo, you wont be disappointed.

I signed up for Yelp just to write this review, that's how great this company is. Hired them to mount TV and sound bar on the wall. Before they arrived they texted me a link to follow their trip to my apartment. Installer was very nice and very quick, everything looks great and wires are hidden. He also stayed longer to help me hook up my record player to the TV.

I highly recommend Primo's services for mounting flat screen TVs.

I called on a Friday afternoon in March 2013 and was able to schedule an appointment for the very next day. Braulio hung two flat screens with oscillating mounts (a little trickier than the standard mounts) for me in less than 45 minutes. He was also very careful to make sure the mounts were securely in place before hanging the TVs (he hung from them with all his weight, probably 6x the weight of my TVs), and cleaned up all the dust and drywall particles afterwards.

Braulio was a very polite and friendly guy as well, and I couldn't believe how reasonable Primo's rates were. After 3 months, both of my TVs are just as steadily in place as they were the minute they were mounted. I will definitely be recommending Primo to any of my friends in the NYC area that are looking to mount a TV, and will probably use them again a few times myself!

Did a excellent job mounting my 65 inch curved tv wirelessly and also mounting the soundbar. Helped me install my wine rack, they wall mounted that for me too. I came across Primo tv in a craigslist ad and I called around 11am to install two tv's in my apartment at 5pm. He was a little early which was great and was able to put my 55 and a 32 with hidden wiring in a little under an hour. He was super professional, fast, and organized. At the end I was going to pay him through PayPal but my computer was acting up so he was able to swipe my card with his cell and get everything wrapped up quickly. I hope to have him back to install a wall mounted entertainment center in a few days. Pics to come!!

The installation appointment initially kept getting moved back, which was a bit frustrating but these things happen in life and they worked hard to get someone out. Jeff and Mike were great. We had a tough situation with our 65 TV and very little wall space but they did an excellent job and worked very quickly. I was actually surprised at how quickly they worked. They were even able to do another installation that I had not initially planned to do. After they had installed everything and left, Mike called me back to say he didn't feel that I was 100% satisfied, which was very perceptive of him. I was not entirely happy because cords were still showing and the cable wasn't hooked up because the coaxial cable that Verizon had given me was not long enough. But he let me know that they could take care of all that for $50. Once that was all done, I was much happier and it looked a lot better (before and after photos).

Many things in NYC are a scam, a ripoff, expensive, or half-assed. This service was a gem. I called them on a Tuesday night, they came Wednesday afternoon within the given window, measured the wall perfectly, installed everything, cleaned up, and were out within 15 minutes. The guy who came couldn't have been nicer. The tv looks great, because these people know what they're doing. I didn't even have to buy a wall mount. I literally had a tv in a box and a wall. $125 later (I have a large tv, the smaller tvs I believe are cheaper), everything was done. It seems like a shady process, you call a number and give your address, but it's not shady, it's just a small, local business doing great work. They send you an invoice at the end which you can pay in real time, and you get a receipt. Best Buy gives you a long window weeks out, charges more and makes you buy your own mount, I'll never use anyone else!

Primo met me at our PC Richards in Norwalk, CT.  They picked up our 65 Samsung TV and a Sonos sound bar and brought it to our house in Darien, CT.  We had no cable wiring to our TV room but they ran cable in our basement to the family room.  Our new 65 Samsung was installed perfectly above for fireplace - the Sonos sound bar is A+ too.  They also installed a Samsung 55 in our bedroom above our dresser.  We are very happy with the end result  Thanks so much guys.

Called Primo at 1pm on a Monday to have my TV mounted on my wall. By 3:30 pm Tuesday my TV was perfectly perched on my living room wall. I must say that these Guys Are Simply The BEST !!!
On June 10th., I bought a 60' inch Flat Screen TV and I decided to mount the TV myself as I did with with 3 other TV's within my apartment. For some reason, the wall that I was trying to install the new TV was giving me many different problems; In which resulted to the Wall Mount breaking in half and the TV falling.( Luckily I was at the right place at the right time. Was able to catch the TV from falling to the ground. )
I decided to have the TV professionally installed and after reading the Positive Reviews of Primo TV Installation, they was the first and only company I needed to call.
I called them at 4:21pm and at 4:54pm, they was at my apartment, with every tool needed to complete the job. These guys completed the job in less than 30 minutes as well as repairing the wall that was cause from the TV previously falling.
Besides me being amazed about how quick they came to my apartment as well as the time it took to complete the job. The Professionalism that was displayed from both guys,made me fell as if I been knowing them for years.
In closing, there's no reason for you to shop around to other companies that do similar work. You will be impressed with the quality of work and the cost is beyond reasonable.
If it was up to me, I will give this company 10 stars because 5 stars just don't seem to be enough.

These guys mounted by 70 inch TV, which they seemed to struggle with, but they got in the end. Unfortunately about a year later the TV started to tilt and it seemed like it was about to fall off the wall. Contacted them to try to come by and fix it, but they took a few days to respond and wound up going with someone else in the meantime (who did a much better job)

These folks are rockstars! Last year, I left glowing remarks about how efficient they were with the installation of a swivel wall mount for my flatscreen TV. Oscar and Jhon were on time, knowledgeable and even cleaned up after themselves. This past week, I needed to remove the wall mount in preparation to move. Prompt and excellent service.  Got two 42 TVs mounted.  Everything was completed in under 30 mins.

When they came on the scheduled date, my building suddenly said that a Certificate of Insurance was required (I wasn't aware of this requirement).  When I apologized to Primo, they immediately rescheduled the installation and promptly sent the COI.  On the date of the installation, the handyman was at my apartment 5 mins before the scheduled time and got both TVs up in under 30 mins.  I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with this firm and highly recommend them for their professionalism and efficiency.

The price these guys offered seemed too good to be true, but my girlfriend hired them to mount our TV...they did a great job, efficiently mounting the TV in minimal time.  We paid under $200 for mounting, including the hardware for a job that we were quoted $300-$500 with other vendors. I had always hestitated to have TVs mounted bc of the cost, but now I would feel great about doing it again in the future with Primo.

these guys made hanging a 60 TV into the wall like putting a piece of paper up with some spit. They were in and out in less than an hour after hanging two Tvs with the wires perfectly fed through the walls. They even offered to clean up any mess they left. One of them I believe was named Tony. They were super easy to schedule an appointment with, I just texted the number on Yelp. The Tvs were perfectly straight, I used a digital level to make sure. Couldn't have asked for better service and the quote was much less than what I had gotten from other sources.

Now where do I start ....Great experience .  I contacted Primo for a quote and I received a response in less than 15 minutes. All my questions were answered and then I set an appt within one day . Had 2 tv's installed with wires and cable box hidden. They came early and got straight to work. Ran into a minor difficulty but I was not at all concerned and the problem was resolved in no time . My advice is to carefully monitor the installers work, especially insuring they fully explain the TV remote operations which nowadays are non-intuitive and complex. I have had not had any trouble with their actually hanging of the TV's on the wall.  But the problem with this company is that the installers ( I've used them 3 times) must be under pressure to spend as little time with you so they can to move on to the next job. For example, the installer got 4 cell calls  about other jobs when he was working on my TV. I am assuming this is why he  left without properly showing me how my remote worked. I literally couldn't work the TV.  Prior to that the installer's work exposed a mesh of wires. He said he didn't have material to cover the wire. When I told him that the whole idea is to hide the wire he said he actually did have have covering material but it was in his car. I asked him if he would get it and he did. But he wasn't going to cover my wires until I specifically asked him to get the covering from the car.

They didn't charge me extra for the extra HDMI cable I needed, and they made sure that the screen was centered down the 1/8th of an inch.

I used Primo to install a TV and soundbar in my living room.  Installation was a bit tricky as I wanted the cable box in a different location.  Mike and his crew did a great job.  I called them back to install a second TV in my master bedroom.  I also had them install a media panel in my basement to conceal all the many wires there.  Mike and team did a great job again.

A tech by the name of Mike just left my apartment and I couldn't be happier with his work! Not a single bad thing to say about him. Completely personable and very friendly. He patiently listened to what I wanted and went above and beyond to get it done exactly to my specs. Very positive experience. These guys were incredible. We have used them twice and they have been excellent both times. They had the wall mount up in 15-30 minutes and next thing you know, they were scaling our wall to put up our curtain rod! Highly recommend them

Best experience since being in New York. I called five other places and they were just to expensive. This business installed and supplied the mount at half the cost of what the competition was asking for and did an impeccable job. I didn't have any HDMI cables and they supplied them too with no additional cost. Great experience and I'd recommend them to anyone in and around the Bronx area.

Found these guys on Yelp after googling TV Mounting in Manhattan. Jeff did a great job. Was fast at installing a 55in TV over a brick fireplace in under an hour. Had a window of 3-5p and he showed up early. I'd used these guys again. Same day installation on a Sunday.

Phenomenal service! Mike & Jeff swung by 30 mins after we called, and had the whole set up done in 30 mins. This was a harder job; they mounted a 50 TV on an angle into a sheet rock stud, so we were very impressed by the speed and quality of the installation. No hidden costs... they charged exactly what they quoted. I would highly recommend Primo!

Mike Jimenez is the best A/V guy ever!  He has been to our house several times.  First to set up our entire A/V system while we were doing a gut renovation.  This was not an easy process because we live in an old building.  Set up a great smart home system from lights to tv to music.  Then we wanted to make changes from Spectrum (very slow internet) to FIOS which was much faster.  He managed the entire process, worked very well with Verizon people and was here every step of the way.  He was professional, responsive, clean and knowledgeable at all times.  I don't write a lot of reviews but this guy deserves for me to take the time to write one.  Highly recommend Mike.

JC and Danny arrived on time and mounted two of our TVs.  They were really pleasant to work with and gave good suggestions based on their experience.  They worked really efficiently and had our TVs unboxed, mounted and setup within 1.5 hours.  Super respectful of the surroundings and very conscious of any mess created.  They also mounted additional picture frames for us at the last minute.  A really great experience for a very reasonable price.  I would call them again in a heartbeat. Unbelievable customer service, communication, and installation.  I needed to get two TVs mounted on the wall and these guys were able to do it the very next day.  The quote was given to me within minutes and I'm not kidding when I say it was about half of the next cheapest quote.  I almost felt bad e-mailing the guy a few extra times to make sure the quoted price was not including labor or parts.  I would not even think of using another company.

I contacted Primo install. Friday night to make an appt. and they were @ my house 9:00am sharp the next day. Put up my TV in less than 30min and did a wonderful job!! I have a studio and they set up the TV so I can see my TV from both bed and couch perfectly! THANKS GUYS!

These guys are seriously amazing! Great job, excellent service, fantastic rates, wonderful attitude. I totally agree with the other reviews - just hire Primo TV Installation already and save yourself the hassle of looking any further. These guys are living proof that Unicorns do exist.

Full version:
Lately, I've started getting used to getting bad service with bad attitude at exorbitant prices in NYC. So when I realised that I needed my 65 tv mounted under very short notice (within 24 hrs), I was prepared to pay the price financially and emotionally.

True enough, I was first recommended to another company who claimed to have done many TV installations in my building. That guy quoted $300 to $500 to mount the tv using my own bracket. And knowing that I was under time pressure, he used the usual passive-aggressive sales tactics that give the many similar industries a bad name.

So when I found Primo TV Installation on Yelp, burnt and jaded me wondered if all the reviews were real. I mean, FIVE STARS? Full marks? Really??? And as part of my occupational hazard, I told myself that they must have bought/paid for the reviews. But after reading a number of reviews, I began to believe that perhaps, the Unicorn of the TV Installation does exist.

IT IS TRUE. Even if you don't believe in Unicorns. PRIMO TV INSTALLATION is the UNICORN. Let me break it down:

1. Great Customer Service over the phone and during/after the appointment
2. Solutions-driven
- these guys consider EVERYTHING and give pre-emptive solutions to work around any potential situation. Even if it means working covertly with a backpack instead of lugging a huge toolkit. I'll leave it at that. *wink*
3. Fair rates
- when I called them, I got rates straight off the bat without any sort of fishing or passive-aggressive negotiations BS that typical salesmen do.
-what the other company quoted me (above) I paid $100 flat for the job by Primo TV installation. No haggling, no let me see if your wall is complicated first. And when they did such an awesome job, I was happy to tip fairly in return for being taken care of.
4. Great attitude
- from the guy on the phone (Trimo) to the team who did the installation (Neville and Tony), they were all respectful, friendly and simply, they care about what they do. And it shows.
- Neville explained what he was going to do, told us the options where the tv could be mounted, and when asked, provided his recommendation. He asked for a dustpan, while Tony held it up for him during the drilling process. They then did a basic clean-up of the area they worked on before they left. We had told them that it's ok, they can just drill away, and we'd be happy to clean up after they left. But they said it's part of their service to clean up after themselves. (I mean, seriously??? I heard the Angels sing)
5. Generosity
- they realized that our sound bar had a regular cable. So Neville gave us an optic cable as a gift. By this point, I was ready to give them my unborn children. Not only did these guys rock up at a short notice, charged us fairly (no urgent fee BS), did an awesome job, while being professional and respectful, and on top of all that, a gift???

Even while writing this review, I had to stop and pinch myself. But nope, it is not a dream. Wonderful people do exist, and some of them are the ones who work at Primo TV Installation. They are a fantastic example of good people, who do great work, charge fairly for their time and service, and carry around wonderful attitudes. They inspire me and serve as a reminder for me to do the same. In my mind, these guys are game changers in today's world. A tad dramatic, I know. But imagine if everyone followed their example? :)

Called them last night..they were able to come 9am the following morning. Within 20 mins tv was mounted. They even did extra work and covered the wires for me from showing. Excellent service. Great price. Will be calling them again to fix living room tv setup and sound bar. They even clean up as well. Amazing.

Mike and Danilo did a wonderful job replacing my 11-year old 40 plasma TV with a new 49 Samsung, both wall-mounted. They were prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and very good about explaining how to use the new TV and remote. They cleaned up without being asked and were responsive to my requests about placement of the TV on the wall, etc. I would use Primo again, and also recommend asking for Mike, which I had done. It was worth waiting an extra couple of days to work with him.

After writing my initial review, I received a message and a call from the owner of Primo.  Let me just say, after explaining our issues and listening to us - he was FANTASTIC!  They came out, fixed both of our TV mounts, cleaned up after themselves, provided us new and longer HDMI cords than we had, patched the holes in the wall, and even offered to give us our money back (we did not accept)!  In my book, that's as good as it gets when it comes to customer service.  

Even though, we got off to a rocky start, anyone who values their customers as much as Primo does, has a customer for life with me.   I couldn't be happier with our TV mountings and will surely recommend Primo to anyone looking to mount their TV.

They were great! Arrived on time, done in about 15 minutes and the product looks nice. Cheapest bid I got by far. My wall is too solid to bury the wires so they put a cover over them which looks pretty nice. $115 for everything!

Mike from Primo came over to set up my new soundbar and re-write all my remotes to a new universal remote.  He was fantastic!  Smart, knowledgeable, understand everything and was able to explain it to me (no easy feat) and a really pleasure to work with.

For the first time I've got fully function sound system that I can control - very appreciative and also very affordable (especially compared to some of the other folks I researched for this work).

Can't say enough good things about either Mike or Primo.  100% recommend these guys and will use them for my next installation.

I had an appointment scheduled today for a tv installation. They were meant to arrive between 10-12. At 11 I received a call from the technician notifying me that he was running late and would actually be arriving between 12-12:30. I politely agreed but also let him know that I need to leave my apartment by 1:30 so it would be important to actually arrive then. I was told that this would not be a problem and that they would definitely be here and done by then. At 12:40, already after the now delayed time frame, I received a text- not a call- from the technician saying that he is ten minutes away. 25 minutes later I still had not heard anything and it was close to the time I had to leave so I texted back and never received a response. I also emailed and called the company and did not receive any response. Completely unprofessional. Any worthwhile company would have had someone call if they were not coming, explain the situation, apologize, and offer to reschedule for another date rather than ghost a customer. Do yourself a favor and do not hire these people unless you wish to wait around for nothing.

My husband, Al, found this installation company on Yelp and found the extraordinary reviews difficult to believe.  Nonetheless, he gave them a call to install our 50 plasma TV and sound bar on a solid plaster wall in our Brownstone.   We both agree that Mike and Anthony from Primo were incredible.  Very professional and efficient, they quickly sized up the job,had all the right tools, and they were meticulous in completing the installation.  The job was absolutely perfect and they were careful to clean up any plaster dust.  On top of that, the cost, with the mounting hardware that they supplied, was less than we expected, even after giving the guys a generous tip.  Highly recommended.  Thanks, guys!!

I no longer dread electronics issues knowing that Primo is out there to come to the rescue. Punctual, competent and reasonable.  Mike did a rewiring upgrade of my Bose surround sound and reduced a snake pit of wires into a neat and manageable bundle. Polite, informative and intelligent. Needless to say, I am extremely happy and recommend them highly.

Shopped around a bit and these guys seemed to be the best and I can see why. I was contacted this morning and had the appointment scheduled for tonight. Loved these guys attitude and they did a great job mounting a 48 inch TV in my bedroom and placing a 55 inch TV on an already existing mount. We were worried that the existing mount wouldn't hold the bigger TV but they tested it out and gave the OK. If you need to mount any of your TV's professionally give these guys a call, I highly recommend them.

I was so concerned about getting this type of installation done. I am a neat freak and was worried the mess would be unbearable, and it wouldn't even look the way I wanted. Well, let me tell you, that was not the case.

Not only were these guys neat, but they were cautious, courteous,prompt, and super professional.

Neville explained every step, and has a great demeanor about him. My set up looks amazing, and I am so happy I decided to have this done, AND that I chose Primo!

They will accommodate anything. If it can be done, they will do it and do it well.

I called Primo to come by my house in Westchester to provide me with an estimate  after seeing pictures of the work they do as well as the numerous great reviews. I also had a local TV installation/AV/Electrician come by to provide an estimate as well. The estimate was to have two TVs hung on the wall, one above a fireplace and the second in a room where the cable outlet was on a different wall. While I am not the type of person to take the cheaper route especially because I am a firm believer you get what you pay for, I went with Primo because he was half the price and when he explained to me what he was going to do, it was exactly what needed to be done. The other installer was making it a grander project than it already was and for that I believe they were padding the numbers. Primo also threw in an extra TV wall mount for no additional charge after he discovered the one that I had purchased was not going to work. For the TV installed above the fireplace he recommended using his wall mount which was $75 cheaper than the one that I had intended to use because he said the one he was supplying was more appropriate for the job. I asked Primo about surround sound and he talked me out of getting a full system with speakers all over the room and recommended the Bose soundbar or Sonos Playbar because it would do exactly what I was looking for and was not overkill for my room. I took his advice and got the Sonos with the Sonos Bridge (network is housed in a different room) and could not be happier. He mounted it on the wall right below my TV and it looks incredible. He also set it up for me and I could not be happier. The great thing about the Sonos as I want to add speakers ie. subwoofer, rear speakers etc, I can do it wirelessly through the Sonos Bridge which creates its own HiFi network and does not interfere with anything else in my house. When I am having a party or feel like rocking out to some tunes I can run my iPad, ipod etc through the Sonos network as well and I do not need to have my smart TV on. It is an incredible set up.

Primo's crew were extremely polite, professional, nice and even cleaned up everything and patched the wall so well that all I have to do is go over it with a roller of paint. Everyone that comes over to our house now wows over the job that was done and is very impressed with what it looks like. I plan on recommending Primo and his group to anyone in the tri-state area that is thinkig about mounting a TV on the wall and needs to have the wires hidden. While it is not a cheap project to have done it is worth it to have a professional do it and know that it will not be crooked, off center or worst case fall off the wall. What better than to pay Primo to come by take few hours to install it knowing it will not only be done right but look great too and not have the stress or wasting a whole day to do it.

The project that I had to have the TV hung over the fireplace was not run of the mill easy TV installation because the power source was about 20 feet from the back of the TV and they had to run the power in the wall (through beams) from the outlet to the TV as well as run the coaxial up from the basement to get it into the room. This is what happens when you want to convert a living room in to a TV/family room in an older home.

We are now one more happy and completely satisfied customer of Primo Installation. While it is always worth it get a second opinion/estimate I am confident that Primo will be the one you go with and you will not be second guessing yourself.

They are really a great company!  We found them from Yelp, and when they came, they were completely professional, reasonably priced and knowledgeable!  The came to our apartment with many different kinds of TV mounts and explained to us in detail which ones were good for each situation.  They did not push the most expensive one, and they adjusted everything to our individual needs.  We were very impressed, and will only use Primo in the future!  Thanks Yelp!

Well, Mike and Luigi left my home about 5 minutes ago, and I couldn't wait to write about the fantastic job they did!  Both were earlier than anticipated, and called me ahead of time to see if that was better for me.  That was a plus and very courteous!  When they arrived, they assessed the situation, and immediately made a suggestion on how to install and get a better picture in my home, vs. the wireless device I was planning on using to have a cable connection without the box.  TOTALLY a better and cost saving idea!  They were fast, explained what they were doing step-by-step, and made me feel at home with the service, answering any question (no matter how small) I had.  Both had a great personality too, and you knew they love their job.  Why is that important?  Because if you are happy, that makes them happy.  And Primo Tv Installation is in the make you happy business.  Kudos to the team!  I will be recommending them as well as using them again soon!  Oh, and BTW - prices are amazing too, and they did a same day service!  All around amazing!

Sincerely impressive.  

We decided to reorient our living room to give our toddler more space to run around and to capitalize on our views of the East River and Manhattan. This meant having the cable company relocate our system and unhanging/rehanging a new 55 LCD TV (we previously had a 46 plasma in that space).

I took the lead on the cable company shananigans and worked from home to help project manage. My husband took the lead on having the TV remounted.  After unsuccessful attempts to engage a member of our building's staff, he found Primo TV Installation chiefly based on their outstanding Yelp reviews.    

Primo TV Installation's Rich called me at 4pm to tell me they would be arriving in 45 mins to an hour -- on time or early for my 5pm appointment.  Rich and his partner Cesar arrived promptly at 5pm and got straight to work.  

They were fairly horrified by the previous hang job performed by our movers (as was I... ESPECIALLY with a toddler!) and assured me that their rehang would be much more secure and safe.  

Rich and Cesar worked like ninjas - quickly and efficiently.  Within minutes, the TV was off one wall -- and they patched and spackled the holes (not expected).  Once they had the mount hung in the new location, Rick tested it's strength by hanging from it.  I had heard from my husband that they did this -- but HOLY CRAP!  They hung our TV and sound bar and then Cesar gave it one final hang test.  Perfect.  Terrifying and exciting to watch... but perfect none the less.  

Also worth noting that I'm a fairly petite female who was home with an 18 month old and I couldn't have felt more safe, secure - all that jazz. These guys are great guys in their own right.

I can't recommend Primo TV Installation highly enough.  If you need a TV mounted or moved -- these guys are the real deal.

I could not be happier with Primo TV Installation. I called them this morning for a last minute, day-of installation and they came later this afternoon - just 3 hours after I first spoke to them. They mounted and installed my TV with ease, along with mounting my shelf and helping me plug in the cable box too. All for just $100! Mike and his team arrived punctually and set up my home theater solution brilliantly. Everything has been done so professionally; all wires hidden and no damage to the walls and painting. They installed the 5.1 speaker system on the walls, ceiling mounted the 4K projector and finally installed the curved 120 screen. Luis did a great job for me today.  I had made an appointment with Best Buy and after their unprofessional behavior during the scheduling process and their overpriced rates, I decided to look elsewhere.  I called Primo today, in the middle of a snow storm, and Luis came to my apartment within hours of my call to mount my TV for way less than what Best Buy was charging.  I am so happy with the results.  Would recommend Primo to a friend without hesitation.

I had Primo come to my apartment over the weekend to mount a 40 flat screen to a brick fireplace. He showed up on time and was done within 15 minutes and did an excellent job. He cleaned up after the installation and also helped hang a towel rack in bathroom.

This is the first time I have ever reviewed anything on yelp but I picked Primo based on the rave Yelp reviews in the past so I thought I would pass along more kind words.

In terms of TV mount installations, mine was basically the most basic job there was. I wanted to mount my 60 inch TV on a full motion mount (that I also purchased from Primo). Tony and Mike came on time and mounted the TV but after they left I was having some issues with the levelling of the TV and the height (as the room it's in is not the largest). I called in and talked with someone and Tony and Jose came back out in a couple hours so make sure I was completely satisfied. They explained how to level the TV and even adjusted the height to make sure it was the at the perfect spot for the room. They spent the time to make sure I was happy before they left and were very courteous and accommodating.

Needless to say, the level of customer service was very impressive and couldn't have asked for much more. I would definitely recommend their services for anyone looking for their job done right.

So I use Yelp as a resource for just about everything...doesn't matter the state or country I'm visiting, but I never write reviews. I thought Primo was worthy of being my first review on here... so here it goes....

I was referred to Primo by a good friend of mine a couple of weeks ago. From the moment I spoke with Braulio and his team, it was nothing short of exceptional customer service. I not only needed my tv dismounted and mounted again on another wall, but also needed for someone to paint a few walls in my apartment.

Now, yes. They specialize in installing TV units, but they are incredibly resourceful and had a painter on their team....and a GREAT one at that. He was extremely meticulous (and I'm super anal).

Anyhow, I set up my appointment with Primo and the night before, I decided I wanted not one, but two televisions mounted. This meant I now needed another TV bracket AND I was missing a couple of wires I needed, but wasn't able to go out and purchase beforehand.  Braulio confirmed he actually had everything I needed and I could purchase directly from him and at an even better price than I found online at Best Buy (HDMI and Optic Cable).

They came in the next stay and installed both TVs in under an hour, didn't leave a mess (at all), and everything was perfectly even and sturdy...and I got my wires! :-)

To say that it was great to work with Primo, would be an understatement. The customer service that this team provides is invaluable and if you're looking for QUALITY service at a competitive price...I would highly recommend Primo TV.

Primo Installation is just about as thorough and professional as you want.  Previous to me using Primo I located them via social media and began referring all my family and friends.  I finally had the pleasure of utilizing their services personally.  The communication between the team and I was constant until the moment they arrived at my door.  
The work is neat, very well done and super fast.  
I called them in the morning and by 7pm that night which was 30 minutes earlier than our scheduled appointment.  I had my TV hung on my wall.
Not only will I be using Primo to install the rest of the TV's in my pad.  Everyone I know that is looking to mount television will be using them as well.  We discussed some of their other services that they provide and I am looking forward to working with them on a few projects in the near future.

Frustrating experience using these guys, which is unfortunate given the strong reviews they have.  Two stars instead of one because they did a decent enough job mounting my TV and soundbar.  Trouble started when they recommended a specific universal remote that I had to buy, which they also installed.  It didn't seem to be connecting properly with my devices (hidden in the closet), so I asked for someone to come by and troubleshoot.  They sent 2 guys, and neither one seemed to know what they were doing.  One guy sat in a chair the whole time on his phone.  The other didn't know what to do so had me give him my laptop so he could FaceTime his colleague.  I subsequently had to have them come a 3rd time and their recommendation was that I buy a new remote.  Not very productive advice when the remote itself was working just fine.  I've continued to have challenges getting my TV to turn on properly and need a solution.  Any other TV service ideas welcome.

We had a 65 inch TV installed, additional electric outlet installed and Bose speakers mounted all done flawlessly. The prices are very reasonable but most importantly they are very professional in their conduct. Both Braulio and Neville made sure that they get the job done even when it took longer than expected. I did not have the required set up for wireless rear speaker mounting so they came back again and made sure that we get the perfect set up for our home theater system. Perfection! Everything about my experience with these guys was positive. Easy and flexible scheduling. Accurate quotes over the phone before without hidden fees. They were punctual and showed up on time and completed the work in less than a half hour. They were extremely polite and neat as well, not a piece of dust or garbage leftover on the floor when they left. I am now watching my newly mounted TV from bed as we speak and thrilled. The wires are neatly hidden and the shelf for the cable box is sleek. Just immaculate and professional work. They really know what they're doing. Best of all, the price wasn't bad compared to many other companies. For mounting a 47 TV, hiding the wires, and installation of a shelf for the cable box it all came out to $160. Amazing. Primo did a FANTASTIC job installing our wall mount last night!  Our tv is now mounted and it's as secure as can be and looks fabulous. We called and they were at our door 30 mins later! They were extremely nice, informative and professional. He even hung himself off the mount to prove how secure it was! They even hooked up our cable box for us. They made no mess at all. Let me first start off by stating the gentleman called ahead to let me know they were running behind and showed up at the time they stated. I requested three (3) TVs hung and mounted but was really skeptical about the Living room TV . This would be above the fireplace and this is an older home. Upon arrival , Neville and Joshua assessed the situation and immediately told me all that I requested could be done and this would not be as difficult as I thought. They immediately got to work on the Living room TV and hung the 55' inch flat screen above the fireplace with very little issues even providing the proper equipment which they had in the truck . The gentleman then proceeded to the two (2) bedrooms to hang the other TVs with no issues. They swept away all the debris, asked if I had any questions , they even programmed my remotes. Needless to say, I am a happy customer and will refer them to ANYONE who is looking for a professional install. Thank you Neville and Joshua !!!

I had 10 year old Flat TV and it was mounted in my entertainment cabinet and connected to receiver. for years I wanted to change the TV. Geek Squad said it can't be done because doesn't have HDMI, the person who installed all these, asked for so much $$$$ which was ridiculous, another person asked less but still was too much, They made everything very complicated. Till I called Primo TV Installation, Wow I'm speechless and  can't tell you how professional, clean service and reasonable they are, Mike helped me to buy the right Remote, Smart TV, he installed everything in 1-2-3 and set up the  remote.  I can't be happier,  now I'm going to change my Kitchen TV which is mounted in wall. These guys are great!  My husband and I had a ancient 47 in Plasma in our living room. We bought a new 55 in LG and decided to put the old one in our bedroom.  We called them on a Friday night, they came the next day at 9:30am sharp. They were done before noon, set up everything including concealing the cables.  We also found out the guy that originally installed our old tv did it wrong... I guess it wasn't mounted on the stud. My husband and I really liked the fact that they asked us questions and were concerned about how we wanted everything done and were really friendly. Lastly, their rates are amazing!  I will definitely use their services again as well as recommend them.

The service was great once they arrived. However, I waited for over four hours. They were supposed to arrive between 8 - 10 am. Around 11:45 am, I finally called and they didn't have me scheduled- apparently the person I communicated with over Yelp didn't put me in. I had these guys come to fix a 50 inch mounted TV that had pulled off its mount due to a shoddy job by Flat Rate movers. The TV was in danger of falling off the wall. Primo came within 48 hours of us calling and they did a real nice job for a good price. They explained what they were doing all along and had a nice calm demeanor and approach. They also do other stuff like hang curtains. They worked fast and had all the tools needed for the job. Sometimes this is not the case, handymen don't have the right drills, missing other stuff, etc but these guys had it all.   I would recommend them and will have Primo back if there is another need for handyman services.

I used Primo for a flat panel tv installation at home, while they were there they also agreed to hang a huge (8ft)  framed print for $25 extra which I had avoided hanging for years due to the ridiculously high quotes I had received from others.

These guys are the most professional and customer satisfaction oriented workers I have come across to date. Very recently I gave Primo a bad review due to a pricing mishap with one of the workers. to my surprise, the very next day I am contacted by the owner who personally ensured that I as a customer was happy with the service.

He came to my apartment the following day to put together a TV unit, spent almost 3 hours working on it, made sure the job was perfectly completed and did not charge me a single dime for any of the labor. Him and his colleague even refused any tip that I offered at the end of the three hours.

Primo is amazing. Braulio is super helpful, communicative, and efficient. Mike did an AMAZING job setting up what wound up being a really difficult job. There were a few problems with the pre-existing wires in the walls, and he went above and beyond to trouble-shoot the problem. He wound up spending hours making sure everything was perfect, and working just right. After all of his hard work, additional wires weren't working (not his fault). He was on the phone with the manufacturer, getting information, and then wound up coming back another day to complete the install. He was kind, professional, thorough, explained everything as he was going through the work, and took pride in his work. Primo's prices are also the most competitive I've seen, and their work is much better.

Absolutely amazing service!  

My husband and I attempted to mount our flat screen on our own, and after 3 hours of frustration, realized we needed professional help.  We originally tried Task Rabbit, thinking we would get the best price there, but we never heard back from them.  

I found Primo on Yelp, and impressed with the 5-star reviews, gave them a call.  Not only were they able to come the next day, but the cost was FAR lower than what we were expecting to pay!  Installation was super quick for our 2 TVs, and they even covered up the cords, and suggested the right height and tilt for each TV.

We hired Primo TV to install a flat screen TV, and they were quick, efficient, and conscientious, and affordable, and we were happy with the end result. So we hired them again to install a shelves, and they did a great job. But after they left, we realized we had messed up the instructions - it was a complicated shelving unit from Ikea, and we told them what to do but hadn't gotten it quite right. They had done nothing wrong, but we couldn't finish it without them, so we called and asked if they could come back to fix our mistakes. They were very accommodating, came back within the same day, and charged us a fraction of the hourly price they were supposed to charge. I highly recommend them and would hire them again.

I had my 60 inch tv mounted to the wall today. These guys did an excellent job, and went above and beyond with customer service. They even sent me their ETA via GPS, so I could know they were on their way! I will be using them again if we need another TV mounted.

Just had my tv hung by these guys. They came on time, were professional, and the tv looks great! They ran into a couple of speed bumps because NY walls suck and mine had a 2x4 running across but they got it done, hidden wires and all. Would definitely recommend them.

This post is long overdue but I am very happy and impressed by Primo Installations. They did a fantastic job mounting my tv and hide the wires behind the wall. They also added an additional electrical socket behind the tv.  They were able to accomadate my schedule and completed the job quickly. They even took the extra time to clean up.

I will definitely call them for other projects in the future :). You can not beat the quality of there work and there prices.

This is the second time we have used primo installation. The first time was when they mounted our 55 inch television in our living room which looks great! This time, my wife and I wanted to install an attic ladder along with a small area floor inside our attic. In addition, we also needed lighting inside the attic. When it was all said and done,  Luis and his crew didn't do a good job, they did an outstanding job overall! Their work was very professional and the attic looked phenomenal! Their price quote was on point from the research I have done online. The customer service Luis and his crew provided was first class. He explained the entire process and made sure my wife and I were satisfied before leaving. I have recommended primo to friends  and family when it comes to mounting televisions. There is no question, my wife and I will continue doing business with Primo and will recommend them for house hold services. Once again, Thank you Luis and his crew for a five star job!

From the very beginning of our communications on Yelp about our job to hang 2 TVs, the owner Braulio was very responsive and made it easy to schedule a time and date.  We weren't sure at the time of communication whether the walls in our rental were concrete or drywall, so he walked us through both scenarios with pricing.  Two guys arrived right on time to hang our TVs; they were polite, patient, quick and did a great job.  We will definitely use Primo again and recommend them to all.

Primo showed up 10-15 mins early, all the way to Greenwich, CT from the city. Had the best price I could find, was patient with me, very knowledgeable and made sure I was happy with everything before he left.

My car unfortunately broke down in the morning and he even followed up later in the day wishing me better. What a great guy!

Primo TV Installation is the best!!  

They arrived on time, mounting/installing my Samsung 40 flat screen TV into a brick wall and removing my old floor model, very large, very heavy television with ease, (I live in a 4 floor walk-up).

The Samsung looks great and was up and running in no time. Their work is first rate, Primo and his team professional and really great.

I would absolutely recommend their services, and now consider them my 'go to' for additional projects - great people, great work, great prices = zero stress!!!! Thank you Primo!

This is my 2nd review although it might as well be my 3rd or 4th - these guys are awesome! After having the crew flawlessly wall mount my plasma, I had a few additions handyman type jobs that needed to get done. Braulio put me in touch with Tommy (tommy2much) and we couldn't be happier. He beautifully installed a chandelier, modifying it to plug-in from hard wired, and hung 4 curtain rods and a number of wall shelves without issue. Again, if you have work to be done stop looking at call these guys immediately!

The guys from Primo TV Installation are awesome!  

They did a great job hanging our 47 inch LCD TV into a brick wall.  They were also incredibly helpful and patient answering questions via email before the installation and on the day of.   The work and service were well beyond expectation, and the prices cannot be beat.

Having the TV on the wall now means we can get rid of a large and bulky piece of furniture, freeing up valuable space in our tiny NYC apartment.  It makes a huge difference to our living space, and I recommend Primo for anybody interested looking to enhance their living space.  I am confident they can handle any job.

I did my research, checked all yelp reviews and called different companies/handymen before deciding to go with Primo. I have to confess the defining factor was the price. Having moved recently, expenses were piling up. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. If you're looking for someone to install your TV, STOP LOOKING. Pick up your phone and call or text Primo NOW. I guarantee you will get a text/call back immediately and can even most likely come to your home SAME DAY for installation. Doesn't get much better than this.

I texted Primo as well as 3 other companies/handymen, they were the quickest to respond and had the best deal. They showed up on time the next day, were quick and professional. Did an amazing job! He not only made sure the TV was on the mount, he took the time to hook up my DVD and Apple TV. Even went out of their way to help me hide my cables, Braulio actually went to the hardware store and bought an extension cord to help out. This is definitely going above and beyond.

While they were here they helped me put up a shelf and a couple of other small items around the house. They were quick, reliable, affordable and very nice. If I ever need any help, I now know who to call.

As good as it gets.  Neville and Justin came right on time, were very polite and professional, and obviously were very knowledgeable.  I had ordered my mounts separately because I needed some specialty parts for my setup (two TVs).  They put everything together and began drilling.  Then we ran into a couple problems.  The brick was too soft on one of the walls, and one of the specialty mounts was missing an important part.  They left after a couple of hours of work and would not take a penny because (through no fault of their own) the TVs were not hanging when they left.  Anyway, a couple days went by and I received the replacement part, called them back, and they came right away.  The setup looks amazing; really couldn't be happier.  Thanks guys! I recommend for anyone who needs a TV mounted, basic or specialty.

This is my second review on Yelp and the only positive review. I'm one of those people who uses Yelp a lot for its reviews and have been doing so for years but never typically feel it necessary to post a review unless something exceptional compels me to. The last 10 minutes of my experience with Primo today compelled me to write this review.

I hired Primo to wall hang my 60 TV as well as two IKEA (BESTA) cabinets and four 27 by 27 IKEA mirrors. Scheduling a time was easy. Braulio (who I'm guessing is the owner as he's the one in all the photos and is the one calling the shots when the team arrives) called me back the same day I left a message explaining what I wanted and we agreed a time this Saturday morning for him to come over. I explained what it was I wanted done and he gave me a quote right then for how much it would cost.

Braulio and two helpers showed up this morning. They clearly knew what they were doing and went about their work quickly, making sure to clean up after themselves. I found out that I couldn't hide my TV wires behind the wall because it's solid concrete so Braulio had one of his helpers go to Home Depot and pick up a wire mold so that I could still hide the wires. So far, so good.

The mirrors were the last thing they worked on. I wanted a consistent inch of space between the top two mirrors and the bottom two mirrors and the same inch of space between the left two mirrors and the right two mirrors. IKEA has a similar display and by maintaining a constant inch like this the four mirrors visually present as one. When Braulio was done I noticed that the bottom two mirrors were ever so slightly misaligned with the top two. Braulio asked me if I wanted it fixed. They had spent a long time getting the alignment as close to perfect as possible, using a laser and a lot of time measuring. Stepping back, I didn't think it would be noticeable so said that no it was fine and that I could hardly notice it. So I paid Braulio and off they went.

While my experience with Primo was good, it wasn't anything that I would have felt compelled to write about. Five minutes later however, my doorbell rings and it's Braulio. He said he had to fix the mirror. Knowing that I was OK with the installation he came back anyways, after being paid, to get it perfect. 10 minutes later it was perfect. This is what compelled me to write this review. A business owner who clearly cares about the quality of his work product and how the customer feels makes for a good service. We live in Manhattan and gut renovated our apartment last year. We know it's difficult to find reliable contractors in this city who genuinely care about the customer experience. Braulio and his team are this proverbial needle in the haystack. I imagine it's why they have so many positive reviews and it's why I felt compelled to write this review. I would happily recommend them.

The primo installation team are amazing. The job consisted of 4 mounted tvs and a floating shelf mounted in my house. I live farther then their usual coverage, but they still came out. On a week night nonetheless, which was of great convenience to me. Their pricing is very fair and they have mounting options for any scenario. Customer service is top notch with prompt callbacks.

The mounts are exceptional. One of which didn't have an outlet near enough to be able to hide the wires. Braulio simply added two outlets behind the mount. This type of ingenuity separates Primo from the rest. The work was done in about 2 hrs and they cleared all work materials and garbage. They even took the boxes that my equipment came in.  Again their customer service is great.

If you're looking to mount your flat screens, do not hesitate to hire Primo. You will not be disappointed.

Great experience. I reached out and in very short period of time we had appointment scheduled for the next day. Michael, who was the person doing the installation, arrived on time, was helpful, knowledgable and fast (I was planning on mounting the TV myself, but then run into the issue of having metal studs in the wall and had no idea how to deal with that). Just the experience that you would expect but rarely do get! And, they're by far the least expensive of the options, even if you consider ones bundled with the new TV purchase (at least in my case). Highly recommended.

THE BEST!

I wanted to surprise my lady with a mounted TV when she came back from her trip abroad and was pressed for time, so I googled TV mounting, yelp came up and I read reviews of a few but came across Primo and the Reviews were AMAZING!! So I decided to give them a call. I called at 7pm at night and wanted to schedule for the next day only because it was so late but Braulio Rodriguez stated he could come by 10pm the same night I was elated to hear this. He came promptly at 10pm and was professionally dressed and mannered he began to go to work immediately and in less than 10 minutes my Lady's TV was mounted PERFECTLY!!! Braulio was even able to tell me the proper height to mount the TV based on the height of the couch and the chandelier to avoid a glair from the light on the TV. After the installation he stated his company provides all services regarding the home. Primo TV Installation is now my go to company for all of my home improvement needs.

It is rare that you encounter true professionals without having been referred by someone you know.  With Primo, I took the chance based on the great reviews put out by folks in Yelp.  I called them last night and got an appointment the following day.  They make sure to let you know if they're running late due to prior work (they came all the way from NY to JC).  I didn't get their names but they were very courteous, professionals and know how to get the job done.  I already have wires concealed so they took care of the mounting.  It was all done in about 30-40 minutes.  I would recommend them!

Primo TV provides excellent service.  

I contacted them on Saturday evening and by Sunday afternoon my 50 plasma (83 pounds) was solidly mounted on my wall with a cable raceway.

You simply cannot find this level of knowledge and service at a price point anywhere close to theirs.  Should we ever need any similar services in the future, we will not hesitate to contact primo first.

Amazing!!!! The guy who is in charge has the fastest response rate.. always answers calls and responds to text right away. The guy who came, I can't remember his name, was so nice and professional. Really knew what he was talking about, I completely trusted him with everything. I didn't know where to hang the shelf, how to hide the cables (behind wall or under pipe) and he told me his honest opinion of what made the most sense. He just left and everything looks great! He did three TVs and one shelf in under 1.5 hours. I'm blown away. He also cleaned up after himself! vacuumed and used a wet paper towel for sawdust. Then threw everything out in my trash room! Amazing!! Prices were so reasonable I have never heard of a company offering these types of deals. Would highly recommend!!!!!

Amazing! I gave 4 stars instead 5 because they arrived 2 hours after my appointment time (they called a few times to let me know they'd be late). But when they arrived, I forgot about the lateness because they did such a great job. Jose and Cesar were both very nice, quick and efficient. Only reason I'm actually giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because when I used them the first time they were great everything was left set up , it was a two man crew , one of the guys was learning and the other person was really experienced and they worked great together and when I called them to install a  TV in my mother in law house it was a horrible experience,  I felt that the person they sent was in a hurry to leave and left all cables out, I actually ended up fixing the cables myself with a friend , so pretty much we ended up doing half the job ourselves and paying  full price, I actually have never written a review but after such bad service I decided I needed to write this review , when I called to complain I was told that this person wasn't experience with the cables , ok then why send him alone.

I needed to get an air conditioner securely installed in a 3rd floor window and just didn't trust myself to do it.  I found Primo on Amazon, where I bought the a/c unit.  You can schedule them directly through Amazon.  I ended up calling them directly (which was cheaper than scheduling through Amazon). They were easy to reach and make an appointment, they called the day before to confirm and arrived on time.  They carried the a/c upstairs for me and installed it. I was very happy with the service, the 2 guys were very nice and pleasant. Overall, a very positive experience and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.  Thank you for such a pleasant introduction to NYC!

What else can be said that others haven't said?  Rarely do you see 5 star businesses but Primo TV lives up to their ratings.  Showed up half hour ahead of schedule time.  Professional and courteous.  Installed a 42, 55 and 70 inch TVs wall mounted, 2 Soundbars, 1 wall mounted floating TV stand, 1 wall mounted double glass shelves and 1 wall mounted coat shelf all in under 2 hours.  And they swept and vacuumed the mess afterwards.  Great pricing as well. I'll definitely recommend them to all my family and friends.  Primo TV: you have a customer for life. Keep up the great work.

Neville and his team did an incredible job, and were extremely professional. They arrived exactly when they said they would, after taking the job on short notice (I called them on a Wednesday for a Saturday install). Their price was substantially better than anyone else I contacted. They knew exactly what they were doing, and did it quickly. They wall mounted a 65 inch television and set up my surround sound. They cleaned up the place behind them and left no trace of the job completed. Awesome and seamless company! Honestly had never experienced something so seamless and at such a great price! Primo TV responded to my quote within the hour and sent 2 employees over at the date and time I requested. The job was taking down a current TV and installing a new one. It was done within 30 minutes and, although the workers weren't super friendly, they were respectful and helpful with setting up the new TV (first timers for a Smart TV). The best part of the process was the owner and his quick responses to my inquiries. Definitely recommend this company!

I bought a TV last year and kept procrastinating when it came to putting it up. I saw that a friend used these guys to put up TV's in his gym so decided to give them a shot. First off, I was super impressed by how quickly they responded and how soon I was able to get them to come by. The day of my appointment I had to go to the doctor so I asked them if they could come earlier than scheduled and they got to my house within 15 minutes! I wasn't home but by the time I called to see how everything was going they were done. (about 25 minutes) I needed a shelf that I hadn't told them about, so they came by the next day and Mike was awesome. The shelf looked really good as did the tv and he even offered to sweep my floor when he was done LOL. Such great service that I have them coming back today to set up another tv in my living room. Would definitely recommend & continue to use them in the future! Thank you!

Installation was very fast, and they tidied up the dust after them. They were scheduled at 1pm and called just beforehand to say running late would be there at 2pm. I was surprised they could commit to a specific time to start with (don't companies normally give a range?) so it was fine by me. The guy explained that his colleague got stuck in Connecticut so they rearranged people so that they could still get to me in good time.

This is legitimately the first yelp review I've ever written but these guys were that good. Obviously they're solid since they have 5 stars with a couple hundred reviews but I could not have been happier. I contacted them at 8am and they were at my place at 6pm same day. Hung my 60 inch plasma with a large extendable mount that I already had in ~30 minutes, including wire concealment. Then installed a large light fixture in under 30 minutes. All together they were in my apartment for an hour max. Reasonably priced or maybe better than reasonably priced. Super professional. Nice guys. Well done Primo.

I worked through Primo's home theatre company associated with Primo TV installation.  It makes sense to create specialists who can do all of the connection audio and video work required.  Mike was very patient and his assistant were all great and put together my theatre installation with a set up second speakers in a different room.  They also completed an all in one remote for me to make it easier to switch from one activity to another.  The price was very reasonable and they weren't looking at their watch, but took the time needed to get the job done.

These guys are unbelievable. They showed up within 25 minutes of me calling them and had my TV up on a full motion arm within 10 minutes. By the time the Time Warner guy got back from his truck, they were finished. Friendly, professional, fast, very well priced, and thorough. They hid my wires and everything. Absolute 5 stars , it hasnt stopped pouring all day , I called them at 6p, they got here at 10pm same night , cheaper than every other service , not to mention they went out of their way to make sure I was happy and couldnt have been nicer people , A true 5 star experience , Nevelle and his partner were fantastic , I will reccomend to all my friends !

Total professionals.Appointment was scheduled for 9am on Saturday.Received a call at 8:40am from Rich saying he'll be at my apartment in 15-20 minutes....at 8:57 he arrived..got busy putting up my 55 in no time...making sure the angle was to my liking,also installed my 24 over my bar.Swept up dust and made sure the TV was working before he left..highly recommend and I will use them again.

Excellent service!  I was able to call the same day and get my TV mounted, even though I had to keep switching the time.  And they did a lovely job with the mount, and were quick too!  Really reasonable prices too.  Would use them again in a heartbeat.  Highly recommend!

Start to finish these guys were AMAZING! I called around 9am and at around 2pm Jose and Caesar showed up and explained what they were doing before they began, gave me options for my mounting. Within in a matter of minutes the TV was mounted and they both cleaned up and were on their way, DEFINITELY CALLING JOSE AND CAESAR AT PRIMOS AGAIN

Luis and Billy came over to mount a plasma from my bedroom ceiling. They worked fast, efficiently and quietly. They were very helpful with the questions I had in placing the tv. I have recommended them to others and have heard nothing but stellar reviews. This is the second time i have used them and I will be using them again in the future. They are a pleasant to deal with, have affordable prices and work very hard. I highly suggest you hire their services in the future.

I went to Primo after years of using someone else because of all the great reviews on Yelp. But I thought it a little suspicious because every review was so glaring . Well every review is earned! They are fantastic . Prompt, courteous, with great prices. Neville could be the most talented , courteous and caring in home professional I have ever worked with. I had a small problem with the set up, he was texting me back immediately , back that night and only wanted to be sure I was happy and pleased with the service. Their responsiveness and professionalism was beyond compare. I have and will sing the praises of Primo TV installation to anyone who ever needs any work at all. Thank you guys !!!!

I am so glad i found these guys!  I moved in to my new place on a Thursday, and they arrived promptly at 10am on a Friday morning.  They had all the equipment and tools necessary to hang both of my TV's.  I bought the mounts from them; one full motion mount and one regular mount.  I also bought shelves from them, and had them hide the cable wires. Everything was done super fast, it looks great, and they even hung a large mirror for me.  All that work would have taken my boyfriend HOURS (and by hours, I mean days) to do.  I consider this to be some of the best money I have ever spent, seriously.

I usually set up my own home theater. I thought their ad was a scam it was so cheap. I called and it was really that good. 175$ for full motion mount, installed, and a free HDMI cable. I just moved here and the 40 min and 175$ was priceless for the headache. The guys were also clean, respectful, and courteous. Honestly best experience w home theater people ever

Luis did a great job in mounting my TV and soundbar to our stone fireplace, and then rerouting some cable.  I would absolutely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.  I got price quotes from several places and Primo's were, by far the best. I could not have asked for better service.

After reading a lot of the reviews here and looking at their website I decided to contact them to install my new TV received from Amazon on the wall in my apartment in midtown Manhattan..  I called and asked if they would also put a power outlet behind the TV as well as running the cables inside the wall and they said yes.  Braulio and Oscar came the next morning and did a fast, clean and very good job.  They were unable to run the cables behind the wall as I realized I had a brick wall behind the sheetrock so ended up putting a cable management system in the wall.  They did not have all the pieces necessary for the cable management, so they bought them later and came back the following week to finish.  All on time and very professional, and surprisingly cheaper than their original quote.  I am extremely happy with the work and will use them to put up a floating shelve in my living room that I am getting later in the year.  I am so happy I found them.  Thank you guys,

Primo came to my apartment a few weeks ago to install my 44 inch TV. They came about 2 hours late, but were nice enough to contact me and let me know in advance that they'd be caught in traffic. They came in, and even though it was quite late, completed the entire job AND helped me hang some paintings as well! The installer also informed me that because of his delay, he was still going to run over to another guy's house to get his stuff done even though it was pushing 9:30pm! I was really impressed because they not only explained everything they were doing but also explained what i should do with the holes if I move, and gave me useful suggestions on hanging the pictures. Also, hanging the pictures was only $60 more. I found them to be very reasonable and organized and heartily recommend them

125 five star reviews, really???  YES!  These guys are great!  From the very first phone call and text messages to the complete installation Braulio was a pro.  With short notice they showed up on time and did an excellent job.  What made them really stand out for me was that they wanted us to be fully satisfied.  After they left we noticed that the furniture piece we were centering the TV to was a bit off.  So I called and asked if he could come back and make an adjustment.  No hassle, the very next day he was back and adjusted.  It's perfect.  Would definitely recommend these guys to anyone needing a TV mount (which by the way is WAY better than having the TV on your furniture) - and will use them again.

Primo did a great job.  Very professional and fast installation.  Found Primo on line and saw all of the positive reviews.  I agree with all of them.  He mounted my 55in flat screen, soundbar and concealed the wired behind the wall in less than an hour.  Very reasonable rates.  I highly recommend.

Primo TV installation did an INCREDIBLE job mounting my TV today. They were on-time, knowledgable, and worked diligently and quickly. They were friendly and extremely nice. I realized that my TV's power cord had been left at my old apartment, and they happily agreed to wait while i traveled uptown to get it. The TV looks amazing. The two guys who worked on my TV were Neville and David. I would recommend their services in a heartbeat!

After having a huge issue with Best Buy, where I was stood up essentially twice after taking off from work, and forced to return two TVs after being completely disrespected and inconvenienced. I went in search of a different company willing to mount my TVs that I bought for a second time now at PC Richard. I came across Primo and decided to give them a shot. Mike and Luigi were extremely professional and equally competent. They had everything needed to properly install and mount my TVs. Had excellent suggestions and mounted both TVs perfectly. I couldn't recommend them more. If you are in the NY area these guys are hands down the only option. Not only are they better they are cheaper then Best Buy or any company for that matter. These guys are legit and knowledgeable, period. They also offer many other services besides just TV installation. Home theatre, alarms to name a few. Extremely pleased with Primo will recommend and use again!

Amazing service. Louie did an incredible job mounting our 60 inch tv. He spent way longer than was required of him making sure the installation was perfect, and that we were happy. He spent time explaining what he was doing to make sure we were comfortable. He provided all his own tools and supplies, with the excretion of the mount itself. This was amazing work, and will definitely be recommending this service to our friends! Anytime we need any handy work done, these are our guys!

Primo and crew are awesome. Very cost effective not to mention high quality service- I couldn't believe how quickly they installed my tv, and they even offered to help out with a few additional items I needed to hang (mirror, coat rack, window shades). I'm already bringing Primo back to put in a bolt lock and will continue to use his services in the future. Highly recommend!!

I called Primo for a next day installation. He gave me an hour long window and arrived right on time. Two guys came to mount the tv and they were both polite and knowledgeable. They worked quickly and go the job done right in under an hour. Definitely recommend!

AMAZING!!! Absolutely professional, polite, helpful, and most important for me, they showed me how safe the installation was, and explained the entire procedure!

My husband called Primo saturday and was able to make an appointment for the next day! When they arrived they asked us exactly where we wanted the TV's and then installed them for us, making sure I saw how safe they were. (we have a 1 year old) Primo told us that he will not install any TV's where the mount is even questionable. He flat out said he makes enough money and isn't looking to make a quick buck at the expense of safety!  All 3 of the TV's we mounted are gorgeous!!! The cables are hidden where they could be and stapled down where they needed to be. Primo basically did all of the work that the cable company was supposed to do when they installed the cable boxes. We hadn't moved in yet when the cable boxes went in, so we didn't see that the cable company didn't do what they were supposed to. So Primo did it for us!!!! AMAZING!!!! One of the TV's was mounted over the fireplace! Its looks AMAZING and it was a bit trickier to install, but like the other 2 TV's the cables are hidden and the TV looks absolutely beautiful!

The price was UNBEATABLE!!!!. Seriously, I can't believe what a fantastic, professional and amazing experience we had, and for how reasonable the price is, I want to buy more TV's so we can have them come back!!! It was THAT great of an experience! Don't bother using any other TV installation company. They were so amazing and you won't be disappointed!!!! We will be recommending them to everyone we know, and we will not use any other company ever again!!!!

Excellent service at resonable prices. I called Primo on a Saturday afternoon and within one hour he was at my apartment, putting my TV up on the wall. He was knowledgeable and gave resonable advice on how best to install a 108 pound television upon a wall. Due to the stud distance I had to get a different wall mount than the one I had. Primo provided one for basically the same price I would have paid on Amazon. What business guy does that without a huge markup? Primo did. I was very happy with the job he and his buddy did and would recommend him strongly.

I had an apppointent for an installation with Primo Installation this past Sat 8/2/16.  My appointment was scheduled for 11am. They did do a great job and the installation was smooth, but they need to work on employee representation within their company. They arrived an hour late, and only responded to one of my texts asking are you able to make it? at 11:50am and only to have them say  sorry, thought I sent you a text, I'm here now. It took a vm and a phone call to get their attention and when they arrived there was no apology at all and the attitude should have been much more humble and professional for my inconvenience. I work for a major sports entity and our diversity program is always on the look out for new and reputable vendors. I always make it my business to refer minority owned businesses that I use for consideration for contracts. Fortunately there was some redemption for the unprofessional business acumen, as I'm assuming it was the owner who gave word to his employees to charge me $115 less than what I was supposed to pay. I do need futher installations and I used Primo because a friend of mines praised them for work they did for her and a few other friends follow them on Instagram, but I will say I will proceed with caution in the future when considering them for re-hire.

Neville and his guys did a great job hanging a 65 inch TV on a movable mount with a speaker attached. A week before the Geek Squad from Best Buy arrived at my apartment with TV speakers and all the other stuff but they said they could not hang the TV from my wall. Even though two other Geeks had been at my apartment and sold me the whole set  up. I was lucky that they screwed up because Neville and his team from Primo did the job for one third the price! (That's two thirds less for everything, including their services and the TV and other equipment.) They programmed everything using Apple TV, showed me how everything worked and set up my accounts at Netflix, Amazon and Pandora. When I had trouble with the universal remote that evening I called Neville and he straightened me out using Face Time to make sure I was doing things correctly. And Primo himself called me the next day to make sure I was satisfied. What a great bunch of guys!

Yesterday I had two flat screens installed one in bedroom and one in lv. I got suckered into the warranty plan at Best Buy they sent geek squad out to install which was basically to hang the tv. They couldn't install wiring behind walls bc of liability. I was so annoyed. Primo to the rescue. Jose and his lovely coworker (his wife) and came took care of the rest. Geek squad couldn't even figure out why my smart tv wasn't connecting to the Internet. Jose figured it out in 3 seconds flat as soon as he showed up.  Fair prices and amazing customer service. They went above and beyond and were so pleasant and professional to have in my home. I almost offered them to stay for lunch! Great people, lots of laughs and super helpful. This tech and electronic stuff makes me want to cry sometimes bc I know nothing about it. I just want my tv to work and look nice without a headache and they delvered way beyond that.  Jose was so patient and helpful with tons of advice Etc. Anyway, would highly recommend them and will have them back to install a 40 in my den very soon.

Extremely professional and courteous form inception. B-Rod set up the appointment and one of his associates, Nevill (I think), showed up to give an estimate. He then returned a few days later, as promised, with a colleague and worked till everything was installed perfectly - working late on a Sunday. They even got Verizon on the phone to ensure they had done everything correctly. The price ended up being exactly what they quoted. Unequivocaly recommend them.

Wow. Primo TV Installation is one incredible company. I hired them to tear down all of the old cables that were stapled around my doors and baseboard and reinstall hidden cables for my tv and Internet.  This was not an easy job because this is a prewar, cinder blocked wall co-op.  I had just installed new hardwood flooring, so I was worried about cement being drilled out into chunks onto my floors.  I should not have been worried at all. Neville and his crew worked hard to finish this job with great care and precision. The walls were patched perfectly. The apartment was completely cleaned. The cables were hidden and the floors were untouched.  Neville was quick to respond to any text sent his way. At the end of this job, I asked Neville if he knew of any electricians for another job in my apartment. He set me up with an electrician and personally inspected the work before he allowed me to pay. On top of this, he personally installed a dimmer switch thinking I would prefer one. WHO does this in NEW YORK? Neville and Primo TV installation provide over the top professional and customer service. They exceeded every expectation and I can't thank them enough!

One word.. AMAZING!! Braulio was extremely professional and efficient with the installation. My 55 tv was installed in less than 15 minutes, and for 75 dollars it was quite a steal! The service was so good that I immediately called my family to let them know, and after he installed my tv he went to my aunts house and installed her 60 tv. She was also pleased, and raved about how quick and professional Braulio was. I am extremely pleased with the level of service, and would definitely recommend Primo TV Installation to everyone.
