To be fair, Airstream has the best customer service of any HVAC company I've ever dealt with. Their techs were always in constant communication, they showed up when they said they would, and answered all questions.
BUT...you're going to pay for this service, and I mean REALLY pay. Like to the tune of 2x-3x the rate for other companies.
I was quoted almost $3K for a job to fix a residential heat pump, where the refrigerant had leaked out due to a leak in the system. That's $3K for 4 hours of work and 10 lbs of refrigerant. Take away the ~$300 for refrigerant and you're at about $650 PER HOUR (parts were covered under the HVAC manufacturer warranty). That's INSANE !
I ultimately went with a different LICENSED HVAC company (and paid less than half that) when Airstream told me how much they were charging for the refrigerant itself - they were charging $150/lb (NOT A TYPO, YOU READ THAT RIGHT !) for refirgerant that cost them ~$14/lb and for which other HVAC companies are charging ~$30/lb.
I'll happily pay a REASONABLE rate for quality service, but a 1000% markup on refrigerant, that's borderline criminal !

Helton's just left, and wow! I couldn't ask for a better father/son team! They double-checked my system, found the problem, and fixed it so quickly! They were kind, professional, courteous, and very reasonable. Rarely do I find servicemen with integrity like this. Being a realtor, I am keeping this company on my Preferred List!!! Well done and thank you so much for your help!

We Recently had Lee Company out to fix a plumbing issue. We were told it would cost $49 to come out and check to see what the problem was. We were told by the technician what the repair would cost, ($488). The technician was hard selling their maintenance program, which I declined several times. He was there 2 1/2 hours and said the problem was fixed. One week later we had the same problem. We called and they couldn't give us a time when they could come out, just sometime that day. No priority given to a repeat customer with the same problem 1 week later. They came out and tried to charge us $250 to check what the problem was!!! When we said we'd call the office they said they'd wave that fee this time. They don't warranty their work!!! they wanted $350 to pull the toilet and replace the wax ring!!! They then said we needed to replace all out plumbing underground. They are thieves and I feel bad for the next person they try to take advantage of.

Called to report broken AC unit on 90 degree day. Lee came same day w 2 techs. Did complete check on both zones for obvious issues...all looked fine. Went to attic it was a clogged line. Vacuumed it out and and got the air cold. Went under house to check for drainage and see about any issues. Went above and beyond and had complete confidence in them as professionals and their no nonsense approach. Will use again for sure.

I've had two experiences with Lee Company, one for electrical work and the other for a HVAC quote.
For starters, I booked an appointment and was given a four hour window of when the technician would arrive. I ended up having to reschedule because an hour and a half past the scheduled time slot, they still did not arrive. I ended up having to cancel and reschedule.
When the technician came out the next day, he was courteous and knowledgeable. He was somewhat pushy with trying to pitch additional services and work.
All in all, the technician was courteous, knowledgeable and the rate I was charged was reasonable. I was disappointed with the sales tactics and the tardiness but the technician did good work, the rate was reasonable, and he was courteous. I'm somewhat understanding of the tardiness due to the pandemic, but it was still pretty late even factoring that in.
I followed up with a HVAC quote (the first technician set that up). The second technician I worked with was also late. He was extremely pushy, and rude. Not only was I not told the truth (as I came to later find out), but he was incredibly rude and I had to pry to get basic information.
For example,
Me: What is the model you are quoting me?
Salesman:Why do you want to know? You wont find anything on it.
Me: Well this is potentially a big investment, so I'd like to do some additional research.
Him: How do you plan to research? Do you know people in the industry? You won't find anything.
Me: Well I would appreciate this basic info.
Him: Well I'll have to look up the model.
He also quoted a price and then used scare tactics if you go with another company, your house could be permanently damaged and you would be stuck with that damage. You dont want that, do you?
He also asked what other companies quoted the work. I was honest and told him that I planned to get 3 or 4 quotes, as this is a big investment.
He sneered and told me If you want to spend the time you can. You won't find another company that will do it cheaper, and if you do, they won't know what they are doing and you'll have some kid fresh out of school installing your HVAC and messing up your house.
He also asked what brand of unit I had been quoted and I said American Standard. He then said that We use Trane, which is better.
Me: Isn't Trane and American Standard the same thing?
Him: American Standard is a lesser make than Trane and is made differently.
When he left I did some research, and come to find out that American Standard purchased Trane's HVAC division in 1984, and they are now identical, with the exception being the name plate on the unit. Turns out they are made in the same places too.
I could provide other examples, but suffice to say, I couldn't wait until this guy left my house.
Needless to say, I will not be using Lee Company to meet my HVAC needs.

Appears kind and professional however quite the opposite. Here are the facts of our experience. Unfortunately, we paid David Bryant, who said he is a licensed electrician, cash in full (totaling $3,200.00) for a job he failed to complete. He made errors and stated he completed the job yet when the Tennessee State Electrical Inspector came and failed us for the job David supposedly completed per code, the inspector confirmed that David in fact did not complete the items on the list that David said he completed. For example conduit supposedly wrapped in 80 grade was only 40 grade. David also put in old, outdated breakers that contributed to the failed inspection. After David acknowledged his mistakes to us via telephone and in verifiable text messages saying they were his errors and he would rectify those errors, the reality is we never heard from him again. After numerous calls and texts, and two weeks of waiting, we are deeply disappointed that he did not follow through with his promise to correct his mistakes. We ultimately ended up needing to hire and pay another electrician for the job we hired and paid paid David for that he failed to finish. He is not a man of honor, nor integrity, and does not complete his work in a professional manner. We do not recommend his services for the above-stated reasons.

Waited at home for scheduled maintenance (between 2-4pm we'll call 30 minutes before we get there)...no person...no call...I mean, at least call if you can't make it....
