Best Air Duct Repair in Nashville TN
Helton's Service was referred by my home warranty. Other than the home warranty not putting the service request in when I first called, David once got he got the request he was here in the time he said he would. I like that because in the years I hire a contractor most of them do not show up as they say. David found the issue with my AC and it was repaired in no time and even made a suggestion to my benefit. I appreciated that and I believe he was honest about it. I would call him should I need service again.

Had a Lee Company check out my parents struggling AC unit. It seemed to be underperforming. Scheduled a visit then had to ask them to change the time.
No problem. They communicated the change of schedule and showed up on time. Greg, the technician, fully checked out my parent's unit and communicated to me his findings. He was great. The response and communication of this company is spot on. Everyone I talked to did what they said they would do. Can't recommend them enough. They were thorough, professional and a pleasure to do business with. TY to all.

We had an HVAC emergency today (Saturday evening - 4th of July weekend) and no one anywhere would come help us until Monday. The answering service told us we'd get a call within a couple hours. Someone called back within 15 minutes and after a short explanation of the situation, the guy told us he could save us a lot of money and trouble by checking a specific fuse, and sure enough it was bad. Didn't catch this man's name, but god bless this guy, he saved our asses in a house that was already at 87 degrees and climbing. THANK YOU!

I wrote a review about the ineffectiveness of Lee company technicians, but needed to add a bit more information. When one of the Murfreesboro technicians put in the 2nd plug, I told him 2 or 3 times where I wanted in. He installed in 10 ft or so from where I wanted it...his response was that that was close enough for my extension cord. That's not what I call customer service.

Called Lee company to install a new tankless hot water unit giving them two turn off valves to be installed on each side a water filter in front of the unit to prevent scale build up. They returned the valves and said they had some in place, which it appeared they did. However, fast forward three months when I'm trying to replace the water filter cartridge and of course they didn't install the valves to isolate the water filter correctly. So now it is not possible to replace the filter cartridge without water spraying everywhere or turning water off to the house. I highly suggest finding another company if at all possible.
UPDATE:
Should have learned my lesson the first time but thought I would give them another chance since they did the original installation and sometimes you just get a less experienced technician. I called them to have them service the tankless water heater they installed because we were experiencing a cold water sandwich after two years of usage. I asked for a service call on the phone and was told it would be $50 for the trip and $150 for servicing the unit. The sales rep on the phone then said I could get a yearly maintenance contract for $99 and it would cover the cost the servicing and the trip charge. So I'm specifically asked him So if I get the maintenance contract, the servicing of the tankless unit is included in that cost and there is no trip charge? So the whole thing will cost me $99 instead of $200? That is what you are saying? To which he replied Yes. So the technician shows up and says the tankless unit looks fine. I asked him to put the extra valve on (that should have been installed on the initial installation from two years ago). So when I come home from my day at work, I see a bill for $250. So not only did they charge me for the $99 maintenance contract, they still charged a $50 trip fee, and then $106 to clean an aerator on a faucet and tighten a faucet. Of course they won't tell you what it covers (if anything) when they try to sell the plan to you. Make sure you get what a maintenance plan will cover in writing prior to getting one.
Moreover, we know for a fact that the technician was only here 2.5 hours based the timestamps of our home camera-- and my wife said the tech was on the phone for at least 30 minutes of that time talking to his wife and father (which he readily told her). Yet he wrote down that he was here for 3.5 hours. Finally the water pressure was turned up for the house... something that was not discussed with me prior to it being done. If the problem of the cold water sandwich was the water pressure, then it would have been occurring from the beginning and not appear suddenly two months ago. Now I'm afraid our water bills will go up as more water is wasted because of this unauthorized adjustment.
This company will flat out lie to you and obviously isn't trustworthy at all. It has happened to me twice with them. I don't write bad reviews for companies because sometimes you just get a less experienced tech and you typically get a good one at some point. But the way this company operates is not upfront or forthright. Run, run, run to an honest company and don't waste your time with this one. They may have advertising everywhere but the real truth is in their Yelp rating. Do NOT waste your time or money with these crooks. You will regret it.

Called to report broken AC unit on 90 degree day. Lee came same day w 2 techs. Did complete check on both zones for obvious issues...all looked fine. Went to attic it was a clogged line. Vacuumed it out and and got the air cold. Went under house to check for drainage and see about any issues. Went above and beyond and had complete confidence in them as professionals and their no nonsense approach. Will use again for sure.

Will and the team at Griffin Mechanical took great care of us after my 1970's unit finally bit the dust. My wife was pregnant and it was getting hot out so this was not ideal timing. The guys were very respectful of my wishes and helped me size the system to add some ducts where needed. I changed where the air handler and condenser lived and it was not an issue for them. I am a construction worker, I'm particular about my house and want things done right. They not only did a great job, but they were friendly.
Recently they called ME to set up a free service call to check the system and made sure we were tip top. That's right, I didn't have to call them. Now that's customer service.
I told them to install Nest thermostat so I can test it for work, and I don't love it. They are going to come back out and put a regular one in. The tech tried to tell me but I was insisting for test reasoning.
HVAC is expensive, so spend your money with the professional people at Griffin Mechanical. I do A/V work and appreciate the same care I give on my house.

I sat on this review for a bit to ensure I had my final thoughts.
I used Coolray for plumbing and electrical issues. They wouldn't give me a quote by phone or online for basic services (even a ballpark), instead insisting on looking first. To look (for plumbing) they had to get things taken apart ensuring you're pretty much going to go ahead and pay whatever to resolve the issue. We initially called for one plumbing issue, they fixed it (for a steep price) and the plumber was friendly. Said plumber also took a look at another issue I had as I mentioned it off-hand, and said it was fixed but it resumed to its completely broken ways as soon as he left. Can't complain too much there as he didn't charge and thought he had resolved it (plus noone else has been able to fix this issue either). To get a price that wasn't as bonkers high he encouraged us to join their Customer Care loyalty group (for a price). I did. It was still really high, but I was never billed for that customer care thing so I'm assuming it was lost somewhere along the way.
Called Coolray again for electrical issues. Had been working with another local electrician who were at the moment not responsive. Coolray was super responsive and out quickly. They fixed part of what we paid them to fix, but there was some misunderstanding. We pointed out a light that was arcing and causing issues. Both lights behind a panel needed replacing as wiring for both switches was frayed. They only replaced one of these two switches, which means they took the panel off, saw the fraying, and only replaced one of them. I realized this was so when I got home and turned on the assumed fix light only to see flickering and hear a pop. Called Coolray to see if they could fix this issue which we thought we'd already paid for, and they said they had only charged us for one of the two switches and quoted us a remarkably high price to come out (including a service fee for making the drive at all) and fix the additional switch. We went with another electrician for half the price.
So--solid work for the most part if some miscommunication, high even for the market area.

We use Lee Company and twice a year they check Heating/AC and out electrical. This is a straight forward company with honest service personnel. I also like very much receiving a military discount when we need work to be done.
They call ahead, put covers on shoes for entering the house, review everything, take photos, and explain everything as detailed as you would like. Even when work is required or they find something they don't do a hard sell. They may say this has to be done or they may say you might want to schedule this as this should be done every say 5 years for duct cleaning. Then they can give you the price and you can decide on the scheduling.
Taking pics of my A/C or him standing next to the unit would do little to aid this review. The proof is in the satisfaction. We are totally satisfied.

Purchased the Fall and Spring maintenance package last year and had no issues scheduling the Autumn service. Called to schedule the Spring service on May 30th. Just put it this way, they aren't coming out until 2nd week in July. Won't buy the two visit service again, that's for sure!

Repaired a small water leak from the crawl space. Charged $333 ($299 w/mil discount). I'll need to do some research on whether this is a normal charge. Technician was professional. Was seen promptly the day after I called.
