needed a dishwasher hose clean and new hinges/re-hanging of a door at our duplex and although it was a bit pricier than I would have liked, I was glad he could get this done quickly and without any issues...it was well worth paying a little extra as he was efficient, easy to work with, and got the job done!

This review is solely based on my experience with their Semi-Annual Service Agreement and not the repairs originally performed.

Per my review below (April 19), I was so pleased with the repair services that were provided, I decided to purchase Efficient's Semi-Annual Service Agreement.  As the repair was done on Friday, the repair person said I could expect a call on Monday (April 22) to schedule the first inspection.

When I had not heard from Efficient by May 6, I used the e-mail feature on the Efficient website where it promises Let us contact you!.  I provided both the invoice no. and work order no. for reference.  When I had not been contacted, I repeated the same process on May 8.  

When I still had not been contacted by almost noon the next day (Thurs, May 9), I used the Angie's List Message Business feature to again request Efficient contact me and provided the same reference information.

Additionally on May 9, I e-mailed the person who did the repairs to let him know I was still waiting to be contacted by Efficient and asked if he could get someone to contact me  to schedule the inspection service.  He responded in a very timely manner and let me know that he had forwarded my message to their lead dispatcher.  He had also suggested that I call the office directly and gave me the names of two people to speak with.

As of today May 14, I have not been contacted to schedule this service.  This service is supposed to include both a spring and fall servicing. Yes, after four failed attempts, I could now call their office to schedule the appointment directly, but for a recurring service, shouldn't they be contacting me?  Also, am I going to have to put the fall inspection on my calendar and go through this same process again to schedule that service.

Their repair person inspired such confidence, but everything since then has made me regret my decision.  Best case scenario, Efficient will refund the money I spent on the service agreement.

I contacted Danny after reaching out to a few handymen who were pretty rude because I really had no idea what details to provide for hanging clothing racks in our DTLA showroom. Danny was pretty patient, advised what information he would need, and provided an hourly estimate for the job--all in the first phone call. Because of the noise level that comes with drilling concrete, our building only allowed construction during early or late business hours. Danny was accommodating to our early hour requests (7am). He did have to do this job twice as the original racks our company bought were too small and tugged on the wires once installed. Danny not only installed and removed the original racks, he also picked up the correct sized racks and quickly installed them before a huge show we were having. He even swept after the drilling which made for an even easier cleanup once everything was done. At times, it was difficult to get a hold of him to get scheduling going/find out when our racks would be ready (ie playing phone tag, missed calls and texts), but the end product was exactly what we wanted--clean,even, and sturdy lines for our clothing. Thanks for making our showroom look great Danny!

On Aug.30, 2019, I called this company about a malfunctioning AC thermostat. I had used them in the past, and although they seemed pricy, had been happy with their work.
I called and was told a technician would be there between twelve and four. A few minute later I got a call and was told a tech. could come right over.
Chris Wyatt arrived. I had met him before. He is a very pleasant person and seems to know his business.
I told him the problem and he said he had a thermostat with him.
Before he began, I asked him how much the thermostat cost. $325 he said. I was quite surprised. I had thought they would be no more than a  hundred or so.
Anyway, he completed the installation in a few minutes (it's a simple two wire hookup), And I paid him. About $375 total.  ) I became curious the next day. I looked it up on the internet. $50-60 retail! The exact same thermostat! A 700% mark-up! I felt ripped off and like a fool.
Needless to say, I will never use this company again.
For you technicians, including you Chris Wyatt, I hope you sleep well at night knowing how you rip people off. Remember, what goes around, comes around!

We have been without heat in 32 degree weather for 24 hours now. I called this morning at 7am to schedule service. I was told someone would be out between 12 and 4pm. After not hearing ANYTHING all day...I called at 4pm to find out how much longer. I was informed they got too busy and could not come until the following day. I spent ALL DAY waiting for these people! Had I known they would not be coming- I could have found another company! It's now 5pm, getting dark, and about 45 degrees in my house. I have two young children. I am livid. Stay away from this company!!

Three years ago we decided to go with Jon Wayne to install a new HVAC system complete with new ductwork.  They have been good in coming for the routine maintenance on the system, the most recent being in February.   Last night the system quit working so we called for service at 7 am today, Friday.  We were told that all technicians were busy but they would try to get somebody out today.  Now we have been told that for sure no technician is available today (at 7:55 pm).  We have been told that we are on the urgency list for tomorrow, however if there is nobody available, somebody will be out for sure on Sunday. At this point, this has made us regret the decision to go with this company.
