Best Water Filter Services in Austin TX
I signed up for their maintenance plan because my air conditioner is getting up there in age, and I want to extend its life as long as I possibly can. I looked at a different company that was cheaper, but they couldn't schedule me for a month. Fox could get to me in two days, so that was worth the extra dollars to me. The technician that came out, Richard, was on time, polite, friendly, and fast. He cleaned my filthy unit and assured me that he didn't see any problems. Peace of mind worth every penny. Thanks.

2 stars because they showed up a couple of days after I called to replace some moldy drywall in the ceiling about 2 ft long. And they did a good job-ish. I paid $650 for 2 workers for 2 hours (very expensive) but they were available.
My tenant later told me that looked at their refrigerator and noticed that there were several magnets, mementos and items missing. He happened to check the garbage bag that the maintenance workers used for the trash on the mold project and, after combing through mounds of mold and plaster wall he finally found them.
This is completely unacceptable and to have them be just thrown in the trash even in an accidental manner shows a complete lack of professionalism.
After letting them know, they just apologized and refused to reimburse any of the cost which I was going to forward to my tenant for his trouble.
Hi. My sincerely apologize, you are definitely right is unacceptable and not the best professionalism on our side. Again i know my apologize is not enough I will explain this to my dad and our workers to be more careful to avoid this type of incidents

Efficient was the first (after MANY phone calls) to quickly respond to us and keep us posted about when they'd be at our house. We purchased 2 hours of service to determine some outlet problems, but he finished quickly (even having to move heavy book cases that had been bolted to the wall) and credited us for the extra time. We are very happy with the service!

Danny is a fantastic handyman. He's replaced an old window in our house and an under-the-sink food-waste disposer -- and has also installed a difficult shower-curtain set-up. He can do jobs big and small, and is totally thoughtful about them. His prices are reasonable and he's a genuinely friendly person.

Lance came over and found and fixed a slab leak for us in less than 4 hours!!! His expertise saved us thousands of dollars. We will be requesting him every time we need any service in the future! Thanks again Lance.

Stay away from Salt Light & Electric! They wanted to charge me more than $6,000 for a new electric panel, which would not have solved my problem. Fortunately I found another honest electrician who discovered the problem was a lack of connection on the city's power side. Final cost to me $0 after Austin Electric replaced the connections on their end. Unfortunately, I had already paid Salt Electric more than $300 to check my power outlets on their first trip, which did nothing to resolve the problem. Salt's annual membership fee to obtain a lower price for services also is a huge red flag.

Just FYI. We called them to come out and service our furnace for the winter. The guy said he found a gas leak and something else wrong. Not saying those problems weren't real, but talked to my mom yesterday, she had had them come out to service her furnace as well a few days back. She lives on the other side of town. The technician also told her that she had a gas leak. Instead of the $79 to service the furnace, she paid $256. I guess there's not much you can do if you don't want a gas leak, but my mom's house is like 50 years old and ours is 8. Funny that we got the same diagnosis from the same company. UPDATE: 79$ service call, final tally: $552. Probably because we live on a more affluent side of town. Caveat emptor.
