Kept to our appointment on time,  they were very thorough in project details and provided an estimate within a short period of time.

Service calls are always a nail biting experience. But Efficient Air Conditioning sure lived up to their name. I called them in the morning to come have a look at my non-working air conditioning and they promised to be out that afternoon. Sure enough, I got my status call letting me know they were 30 minutes away from being at my front door. Again, how nice is that? Two fellas turned up, had a look and let us know it was just a tripped fuse in the attic and fixed it and were out of there within 30 minutes. Now the air is working and I can breathe easy.

Danny is incredible!! We never actually met in person but he did substantial work (constructed a wall, installed shelving in a space with 18ft ceilings, and much more!) while dealing with me and my colleague who are based in NYC - on the other side of the country! Danny was thorough and considerate and called us with any updates. I could not have imagined things being any smoother working with someone if we were working face to face! Could not have completed the project without Danny and his expertise! We've already called Danny several times for additional projects - we have complete confidence in him and feel so lucky to have found him. He even managed a few taskrabbits we hired for cleaning while he was in the space working on other things since we were across the country! Thank you Danny!!!!

I just had 1st Plumbing Services come to give me an estimate on what I thought was a simple task (remove a water softener from my house's input water line). I can do this job in less than 2 hours. 1PS wanted $429.34 to do what they estimated to be a 1-1.5 hour job. YIKES! When I complained about the excessive fee, they brought it down to only $388.34. I guess times have changed, but I didn't know that plumbers (with company overhead) now go for a rate of $250-300/hour. I paid my $45 fee for the service call, and cut my losses.

By the way, if you want a good independent plumber in Austin who works for a reasonable hourly charge, and charges minimal overhead (e.g. travel), then I recommend Gilbert at Blue Dragon Plumbing.

I just requested one simple light to be installed and these guys actually tried to upsell me into recessed lighting for $3,500. With the $79 service fee and the light installation, it ended up being $210 for one pendant light to be hung. What a joke.

This company earned this review from me because of an estimate given for doing work at my home. they sent out one of their electricians, and I explained that I needed work done on my electrical panel in my home. now I should explain that I have a small home, it's only 1250 square feet. Given that; The other work I needed was that I needed electrical outlets put in both bathrooms in my house, the GFAC Plug in my kitchen needed replacing, I needed a couple extra plugs in my kitchen, a light hung in my garage area and another plug put in my living room.
 The Technician Quoted Me a price of $21000.00  Yes, That's right...21 Grand for That little bit of work for a house that's only 1250 Sq. Ft. in size. I told him that I was having my entire roof replaced for 8,500.00 and He had the audacity to charge me that much!
 No way would I ever go to this company to even have a light bulb replaced. They will try to rip you off.  I had a phone call from the company after the Tech left, and they asked me how it went and when I told them what He tried to quote me they weren't even shocked by it. It was like business as usual. All I got was Im sorry you feel that it was too much sir.  Im getting quotes from other companies, and even using places like angies list and home advisor. Im sure I can get a way better deal than this.
