I hired Veteran Electric initially to complete a few minor things noted in our inspection report after we bought a new house. It was a little over $1,000 to do the work. They came out and one of the employees was in training. It took them a long time to do everything and the explanations of other issues always seemed to leave us with a huge question mark as to whether it was really an issue or not. One issue that clearly needed to be addressed related to an exterior outlet that mysteriously had a charge to the ground wire. After talking with the electrician, we assumed it was going to be a huge undertaking to identify the issue and fix it. So since we are still under our home warranty, I figured I'd give them a shot. That electrician had the issue identified in fifteen minutes (improperly installed timer switch on the same circuit). There were other open issues that Veteran came back out for and led them on a rabbit chase that never seemed to bring back any positive news. So they gave us a quote to re wire the whole circuit. We got someone else out here and issues identified and resolved. So three stars because I think they are good per the other reviews but we just had a so so experience with them. Plus they seem to be very busy and their response time is not great if you need something quick.

I can not say enough about Paul.  He is a top notch electrician.  Very thorough in his analysis, he explains the issues in detail, transparent with costs, and is very professional.  I had a major electrical issue with my house and Paul was able to troubleshoot the problem and fix it.  He also spent a lot of time with me on the phone explaining everything.  I would recommend Paul to anyone who needs electrical work done in their home.

Robert did a great job for me! Requested a quote for a NEMA 14-50 outlet to be installed in my garage for my new Tesla and he came out the next day to take a look. That's  a lie bull company is full of bull mess, you got over here talking about a consultation, that you had to see the job and then grab my hands and state that you are giving me a deal when you know you are taking advantage because if I turned you down you would have walked away with 80 dollars because you stated that is your charge for  consultations but if  you do the job then you would not charge the consultation fee. Charging a 150.00 for nailing four out door lights on the outside of a home was not a tedious job to do and you didn't even break a sweat!!!  Beware of any business that wants to come for a consultation because you will end up paying whether they get the job or not.

Just moved to Conroe and needed some minor work done at our home.  Dryer outlet needed to be changed and ceiling fan rewired. Mr Electric was the closest business only 2 min drive from our house.  We called and scheduled an appointment for next day.  The electrician arrived an hour late but was super friendly and apologetic.  We got a quote, paid a deposit and scheduled the work for following day at 930am.  The next morning no one showed or called, so we called business at 11am. They said they forgot to put appointment in book and will send the electrician around noon.  130pm we called again and still was a no show. So we rescheduled again for next day first thing at 8am.   We waited and waited and finally the same friendly electrician arrived to complete job at 10 am (2 hours late).  The review would be one star if not for the friendly electrician.  Every time we called the business they seemed not to know what was going on and continued to say he was on his way and to give him 30-45 mins in case traffic. ‍ We will not be using them again and would not recommend unless you have a whole day to waste.

Anyone that has built a house knows that it is almost impossible to know everything there is about wiring a home. West Houston electric makes sure that your headaches go away and handle every aspect of the electrical needs of your home, they work fast and do it right the first time.  I had the pleasure of working with William, he is a funny guy and very good at his job.  Every request we had was done perfectly by him. Every tech showed up in a mask. To me this was important in times of Covid.
We had a service call related to not getting power in all plugs and switched on a particular wall. These problems go from a simple solution like resetting the breakers to tracing the problem along the wiring. Our was the later and the techs were very well equipped for the challenge.  More than that they had the logic and experience that helped trace the issue quicker and methodically.

We paid them to fix our sign and it never worked.  They are not good. I called and called but they never addressed the issue.  When I was booking the appointment they returned my calls quickly. I'm very disappointed with their service.
