I absolutely love working with Optimum Home Solutions!! The tub / shower in my condo was stuck in the 80's and needed a makeover. I do not live in the same area as my condo, so Joe (owner) and I did everything over the phone and through websites. I got the big reveal picture last night and am so happy!!! It looks amazing!! Leonel came out for an estimate yesterday to replace all the tile on my first floor, about 1100 SF.  He was fair, honest, thorough, friendly and professional.  He explained all aspects of the job and gave me a detailed estimate on the spot.  He may even have me talked into redoing my Master Bath!  Now off to the bank for the home improvement loan!

I like to shop locally in Tucson and tried hard to pick a local Tucson Company. Well after receiving quotes I got worried because Diamond Granite & Remodeling was lower by a significant amount to not be ignored or matched. I was wondering what I was missing. So I actually went by price, signed contract and crossed my fingers. Still expecting  the surprise bill or add on cost for something. There were no additional charges and they arrived at scheduled dates and times for measuring and install. Came out beautiful. Their installers were very knowledgeable and respectful, they actually had to stay extra time to get everything just right as if it were their house they were installing at. Highly recommend this company and will do business again with them when needed.

We had new kitchen countertops and a master bathroom countertop installed this week by Petrus.  After much research, and lots of great recommendations, we chose them to do our install and very happy with everything from communication, installation and cleanup.  Great quality of granite, and good suggestions which made things even better.  Very pleased with our new countertops.  They were very professional and honest to work with.  Would highly recommend.

Hands down the BEST contractor we worked with in our home remodel. They installed quartz counters in our kitchen, three bathrooms and bar area. They also did the backsplash in our kitchen. The process was so seamless. They did exactly what they said they were going to do in the timeframe promised. We were up against some strict deadlines and they totally pulled through. I highly recommend them for your project.

I had used XLT to install tile a few years ago, living room and hall wood look tile and they installed with a 1/3 split to make it look like real wood. Leonel called every day making sure all was well. The workers showed up on time every day and did an excellent job. Finished project was perfect. Now I am re-tiling baths and though not a large job, still received excellent service and again bath #1 has been tiled work was again perfect. Leonel called after the job was complete to get feedback on the tile installer whom did an awesome job. So, it was worth my time to review this company I have not used for any other projects other than tile however I would not hesitate to contact Leonel for other projects. He is very involved even on a small bath tile job. Which shows me that he takes his reputation seriously, and always makes certain that you were satisfied with not only the finished project but also the worker who did the job. Keep up the good work Leonel.. More companies should do this.

Our counters look great and Fabio gave us a great price compared to others. Also was willing to work with us after we had a few set backs. Would use him again and also recommend to others.

I had an estimate scheduled with Diamond on Aug 16th!
Started off good enough and in less than 2 minutes took a wrong turn.

I was getting an estimate on replacing a bathroom vanities. I took the estimator to look at the master bath vanity.
I explained we wanted the cabinets replaced and a granite top and would like to center the sink in the new vanity. He took a quick look under the sink and started with that can not be done unless we move the plumbing! My reply was no it does not need to be moved and I have other estimates all of them said it could be done no problem.
He then stated the left cabinet would hit the plumbing. Again I stated it did not need to be moved Again he said it had to be moved.
The vanity is 52.5 in wide wall to wall
He started saying to put a 48 in vanity in he has to start with a 2 in filler strip and a 12 in 3 drawer cabinet then a sink base and the 12 in 3 drawer would hit the plumbing.
Again I stated I have other estimates for the same work and that I was unhappy that he was starting to upsell me before he measured a thing. He said he was not trying to upsell me and he knows because this is what he does. I replied how can you tell  plumbing needs to be moved before taking a single measurement.
At this point he starts trying to back pedal saying he said "maybe"it needs to be moved!
I replied no you said it won't work unless the plumbing is moved. Now he tells me "I don't know if you are just having a bad day but I'm sorry you are"
My next words are " we are done here! I'm not going to be lied to or deal with his attitude after I called BS on him"!
Ok Mr Business owner understand some of your potential customers are not stupid and may have other estimates before they call you and are already well aware of what can and can not be done.
What you guy did not realize the time since we did not get far into things was
There was a second bathroom for cabinets, a complete shower, a tub and surround and tile in both bathrooms. You lost all of this!
I as a customer and or potential customer have the right to question anything you say and you have the obligation to explain yourself.
The fact I told your guy I have other estimates and it will work and that he has not measured anything were his chance to say yes let me measure it instead of wanting to argue his case!
I now have 2 very nice bathrooms done by someone else and will use them for the bathrooms and kitchens  on my 2 rental properties!

We had hired XLT (Leonel) for a kitchen remodel and were very dissatisfied with Leonel as we saw him to sign the contract and never saw him again until he wanted the rest of his money. He is the guy that gets the job and then subs the work out to other contractors. There was no oversight or coordination of work at all by XLT. When I needed his electrician to come back, I was told to call him directly, when we needed tile put in, I was told to contact the GC he subbed the job to. I thought I hired XLT to be the general contractor! When I expressed my concerns with this arrangement, he said he's too busy and couldn't possibly visit jobs and follow up on them. In his defense he will answer his phone.

Another disappointment is when the cabinet company failed to supply drawings on how the soffit above the refrigerator needed to be constructed, they wanted to hire XLT to rework the soffit at their expense but Leonel refused to do the work so they had to hire another company, again a lack of coordination of trades could have prevented this in my mind.

I was absolutely greatful to find David Nguyen from Desert mountain countertop. We had trouble with other fabricators . No one like to go out far to Florence. David gave us a great service with his quick respond, reliable , reasonable prices. His team came out very quick to finish the job in the next 2 business days. They did an excellent job. I was very happy and please to work with David . I would recommended to anyone wants a good service and reliable company .
