Schrader Plumbing was amazing! Jeff came out and gave me a second opinion after another plumbing company told me they would need to tear out my floors to fix a plumbing issue. Jeff fixed multiple plumbing issues in my home for less than a TENTH of the price that the other plumbing company quoted me, and my floors didn't need to be torn out! Schrader gave me peace of mind and saved me a lot of time and money. I can't thank them enough!

Had a tricky outdoor shower issue, having a hard time finding a correct part that matched. My man Alex stepped up, figured it out and got the job done. Continue to recommend these guys.

Update: The owner very promptly contacted me. We have come to an amicable solution, and I better understand the challenges facing the plumbing industry right now.
Original: One hour of work was over $800. By any objective measure, that's just too much. Two water shutoff valves were replaced (under a sink and under a toilet), and a gas dryer was installed. On a positive note, he was professional, on-time, and the repairs seem to be ok. But I cannot recommend due to the price, with so many other plumbing companies in DFW.

Luis and Andre were awesome. Knowledgeable and prepared. Answered all my questions in detail. In addition, through their probing was able to inform of the maintenance needs of a different appliance. They are saved in my contacts as my plumber of choice moving forward.

I own a property management company and finding reliable and knowledgeable plumbers has been the single biggest obstacle we have encountered. However, when we found Professor Plumber, we knew we would have a great vendor partner. Several days ago, I personally experienced a plumbing issue at my own home and when I called, they were here within a couple of hours, cleaned the line, ran the camera and determined the cause. Tyler was diligent and did not give up until he located the problem. With this old house, it's always with great anxiety that I have a plumbing issue because I do have cast iron but working with Professor Pipes, my mind is at ease knowing they're going to be honest, thorough and with reasonable pricing. This gives me comfort also knowing they are servicing my property management clients with the same level of care. Highly recommend.

Have used Roto-Rooter before and trusted them.  No more.  When I use them it is always for the same service - cleaning out the sewer line from the clean out to the house and out to the alley.  In 2006 this was $150.  In 2010 it had gone up to $175.  Pretty reasonable.  We decided to call them out about 6 months later to prepare for several events at our house.  The line seemed to be slowing down.

The service guy showed up and quoted me a price of $270.  This was almost a $100 more than 6 months previously.  I went in and checked the previous charge to confirm.  When I came back out to question it he gave several reasons.  Having to clean out both ways, price increase.  However, he promptly dropped the price to $180 with a 10% discount.  My BS detector went off and I told him to tell me what I owed for him coming out and for him to pack up.  (I try to be fair in my dealings with people)  He told me there was a $90 charge.  While he was loading up I called the office.  They could not give me a price or explanation of the discrepancy of the charges.  They told me that there should be no charge for him coming out - it was a free estimate.

I contacted their customer service info.  Played phone tag with a guy from the local franchise.  He just kept asking several questions and never gave any real explanation for the behavior or apology.

I will do this service myself in the future or will hire a true local company.

They communicated well but there were slight issues with how repairs were made and they needed to make multiple return visits to get the issue finally corrected. I would call them again if I was in a pinch.

We called on Monday for an appointment for them to come out and unclog drain in our bathroom. They asked which day and time would be good and we said Thursday morning. They gave us a window of 11am to 1pm. Never a call to us during this time. Called them two times and said they were on an emergency and we were next in line. And she was just going to call me. Yeah right. Never heard from them again. Called again at 4:30 and said they were still on emergency and had never tried to call us. Terrible customer service. And what do they have, one plumber? We got there name from Home Advisors. Never again. I only had one day off this week and wasted it for nothing. Still can't use bathroom.

Excellent work!  I've had Jeff install kitchen faucets, refrigerator ice maker water line and water filters at a couple of houses.  Very professional work at reasonable prices. Rare to find a professional who takes personal pride in his work and provides honest assessment of the work required.

I had originally called another company who was unsuccessful in remedying the problem. Called Made and they came out to fix my backed up pipes on short notice. Got my issue solved in a short amount of time and with the utmost professionalism. Thanks Ben!

I had a faucet that needed to be installed in my kitchen sink. I purchased the high-end faucet, soap dispenser and hole covers (I have a 4 hole sink but just 2 appliances to install). James came out and gave me a quote - he was very professional and friendly. The staff at the office was very communicative and friendly as well. I hired James to do the job and couldn't be happier. The price was competitive, the work was completed in a timely manner and looks great! He cleaned up all the mess (some that wasn't even his!) and left my kitchen looking great. I've called on Eric from Northwest twice to extricate me from emergency plumbing problems.  Both times I was shocked at the low fair price and great job.   These days it's so hard to find honest professional, blue collar plumbers, car mechanics, air condition men, or roofers.  Eric is a great plumber and air condition/ heater man.   If you want a good job and you don't want to be taken advantage of...I highly recommend Northwest Plumbing.  

Now I need to find a great car mechanic.  My last car mechanic passed on.  RIP Fred...

Great company. Jeff (owner) answered my emergency call on a weekend and came out to fix the plumbing issue within a couple of hours. Very professional and transparent. Highly recommended.

We had a bit of an emergency and ended up contacting Icon Plumbing after the home warranty plumbing company failed to show up twice. Condy and Ryan were both amazing!!!! Condy stayed late the 1st night ensuring everything he could do was completed for the night and Ryan went above and beyond coming out several times the next day to complete the repairs and ensure everything was working correctly. We ran into a bit of a glitch (not plumbing related), Ryan made sure we had a plan for getting someone out the next day to repair our other problem and did not leave until he was sure there was no safety issues. We will definitely use them in the future with no hesitation. Highly recommend!!!

I have been ripped off by plumbers working for big companies who emphasize upselling and not helping people with repairs. Jaime (the Plumbing Force) is honest, skilled and just plain great. He is very busy because he is so good and honest. I don't care how long I have to wait for an appointment. We have been ripped off by Delta1 and ARS both in the last 6 months. Never again will I call a big company that force the plumbers to make sales quotas.
