I had a faucet that needed to be installed in my kitchen sink. I purchased the high-end faucet, soap dispenser and hole covers (I have a 4 hole sink but just 2 appliances to install). James came out and gave me a quote - he was very professional and friendly. The staff at the office was very communicative and friendly as well. I hired James to do the job and couldn't be happier. The price was competitive, the work was completed in a timely manner and looks great! He cleaned up all the mess (some that wasn't even his!) and left my kitchen looking great. I had Tioga out to my house a few months back to do some plumbing. They we're great!
I needed some electrical work done. They were supposed to come on Thursday to give me a bid. The tech got caught up in a job that took longer than expected so I got pushed to Friday. Friday morning came and went. I called and was told that due to on demand scheduling they would be out to see me later in the afternoon.
So at almost 2 pm on Friday afternoon, I got the call that the tech was on his way. I voiced my frustration to the lady but she gave my the company line that this was on-demand scheduling and I was free to go about my day and they would gladly give me a 30-minute advanced notice.
I obviously don't understand how on-demand scheduling works but I am ok with that. From my perspective, as a customer that was supposed to be helped on Thursday, I should have been helped first thing Friday morning.

Called Mansfield plumbing due to an out door leak. Plumber dug up site, told me he could find a better deal. Plumber left out without turning the water back on. Had to call company to have him come back and turn it on. Never heard back from plumber or who he recommended for a better deal... Plumber left equipment and site he dug up completely exposed. Had to hire another company to complete his job. Will never use Mansfield Plumbing again.

They've helped my mom on two occasions and myself multiple times and they always come through. Plumbing leak, drainage on two properties for her and for me they've built a gate, repainted my bathroom, serviced my interior A/C on a hot summer day, changed out my thermostat to a new Nest and moved my outside A/C unit around the side of the house out of my earshot and view. I'll keep using them for all my projects.

On July 27th my upstairs zone was not cooling, while the thermostat was set at 78 the temperature was 81. After a couple of hours temperature had not changed. The downstairs zone remained at 76. So I called A #1 Air (Who I had bought an entire system just a few years ago) to sent someone out.
On July 28 a tech came out. After several hours he determined that I needed $5,000.00 in repairs. Please note when he arrived downstairs was still cool at 76, but by the time he left it was also 81. I contracted A #1 Air in regards to this issue in particular that I was now worse off after he came out. They said that they would send out a senior tech the next day.
The senior tech had a lower estimate, but still required the major part to be replaced which may or may not be under warranty. I agreed to have repairs done, and now it would be a case of getting that part. After 5 days I called, and was told that they were at the mercy of the Manufacturer, and they would let me know when part would be in.
As of today 9-28 it has been almost 9 weeks, and I haven't heard a word in regards to my AC being fixed.
Two weeks ago a friend put me in touch with another company that already gotten part, and repaired my AC at 25% of the cost of the first estimate.
As they say you should always geta second estimate, and in regards to A#1 air that is for sure. Never mind the fact they might not ever get back to you.

We have been trying to reach Mr. Hobson for several months and Jennifer in his office has conveniently iindicated he was not available and would call back. A family member had their air conditioner go out in the heat of the summer (which was only 6 years old and still under warranty by Hobson) and they came out and put in a new compressor in the amount of over $8,000. It absolutely should have been covered and the customer should be reimbursed. I was very surprised that with this being a family owned business they would allow this to happen to another family and not even have the common courtesy to return a call. I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate it happening to one of their family members. There have been no less than 8 calls make to his office as well as a RRR letter sent to his office - so we know he is aware of the situation. They need to make this right. Unfortunately, I think that because it was a woman the technician was speaking with - that technician took total advantage of her lack of knowledge regarding an air conditioner, which how many people are well versed on air conditioners. That money was put aside for her daughter who was starting college and they stole that from her in my opinion. I truly hope someone in their company is monitoring these comments and asks for Mr. Hobson to return the call.
