Best Backflow Services in Fort Wayne IN
A while back I called A&A Mechanical to service my Generac generator. I called Generac directly as the home I bought this year came with a large generator. I have never had a generator before and didn't know what needed to be done on it. They gave me a list of companies that service their generators near my home, and A&A was a company within my town. I called and scheduled an appointment with them in a few days. What was great was that I found out from them, that they used to service the generator for the old owner of my house.
They came, performed service on the generator and set it up so I get it serviced once a year. Technician was friendly and explained to me how my generator worked, how it would test the system every week, pretty much gave me a lot of useful info. I am very glad I did get it service because two weeks later, my area lost power for an entire day. Seems some squirrel(s) messed around a nearby electrical substation. Immediately my generator kicked in... and it's an amazing generator powered my entire home! I so could have used this when I lived in Miami during hurricane season! If I didn't get it serviced, I would have been without power and I would have lost a stand alone freezer and a refrigerators worth of food... so I saved a lot of money!
If you have a generator, get regular service.... and get it from A&A!
Seems also per the website they also do work in plumbing, heating and A/C... so something to keep in mind too.

I only gave one star because it would not let me give 1/2. I would NEVER use this company again. Write down the hours that they are in your house. They lie about the hours they work, charge you $140 an hour for them and will adjust your bill accordingly to make it look like they are doing you a favor. If you need plumbing work done, I highly suggest you use a sewer company that has the equipment to get the job done the right way. This company is a complete rip off and will lie to you. They did not get the job done, did not have the equipment or knowledge. I highly recommend Shoda or Genes sewer company. Stay away from Northside, it will cost you double.

I'd probably give them only a single star, except for the fact that we've been using them for maybe 4-5 years and, until the last year or so, their service and techs were great. We had them install a water heater, do several plumbing projects and check on our HVAC and were very pleased with how all of that went.
But it seems like they're growing, and growth/revenue seems to be displacing customer service as the priority. (Ever since our home base office switched to a closer, presumably new, location in Niles, everything kind of fell apart.)
We've been on their Comfort Club plan for the last maybe 4 years or so, which gives us an AC, furnace and plumbing check-up each, once per year. Unlike the tech who came out for a bunch of years, the guy they sent last fall just spent the whole check-up trying to up-sell us on some kind of weird, expensive home filtration system or something, and then did some work that I didn't ask for and charged me for it.
This summer, I've been trying to get the plumbing and AC check-up scheduled, and, between those two appointments, they have either no-showed, canceled, or gotten the date wrong 5 different times. I finally just gave up and told them not to bother coming.
So, if you're thinking of calling them out for a specific problem and you can actually get them to come out, I imagine the service you receive will still be pretty good. But I'd steer clear of getting on any plan or depending on customer service, since it feels like a business that's heavily incenting its staff for sales/top-line above all else, including customer service. And I'd probably just steer clear altogether these days.
I will say they were pretty prompt and friendly about refunding me this year's Comfort Club fees. So there's that, at least. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
(PS, if you know of any good HVAC/plumbing places in the area, my DMs are open!)

I wish I could give negative stars because they don't deserve anything at all. Shady employee. First off, I was given a time and nobody showed. I called and was told he was running late. 7pm comes and a guy calls saying he was on his way. 11pm comes and the guy calls again and asks if I want him to come over still or wait until in the morning. I said wait till morning so you can see what you are doing. My roommate or myself had to help him a lot of times because he couldn't get behind the washer or he had to have help for certain thing. I got so annoyed I had to leave for awhile. He was at my house from about 9am to after 10pm and nothing accomplished. Had me pay over $400 in cash so he could tell his boss the reason why he was at my house all day and fixed absolutely nothing was because he was fixing machinery. He said they were taking money out of his pay due to him breaking another piece of equipment that wasn't his fault. So he was going to give them $90 out of it. He was so fat, he bent my gutters trying to get on roof. He NEVER FIXED problem so I have been without a toilet and shower in my main bedroom with stuff coming up through shower when he promised to come back and fix. I tried calling office but she didn't want to listen. I just want to be able to use my bathroom again. That's all!!

So not only did they install the dishwasher crooked. 23 days after my last review, the kitchen cabinet was wet to the point water was on the floor. If there wasn't water on the floor, I probably wouldn't have been alerted to the problem. I don't know if the pipes were installed incorrectly or not tightened enough, but either way the pipe came loose from the garbage disposal so when the dishwasher was running it was just pouring water out into the cabinet. Do not use these people for plumbing!

This company took advantage of my mother. They broke their own tool then wrote on her invoice....cost for the broken tool...what the heck. I called and talked to Chad. He was to call me back and never did. This company has gone way down hill. They charged my mom over 700 in 2 visit and still doesn't have water. They should be ashamed of taking advantage of an elderly woman who doesn't understand and charge her for their employees mistake. When another family got ahold of someone, they said it was a mistake that the invoice said broken tool cost. They said it was the cost of visit. Chad was to call them back too and never did. Love that they can change their story. Never again!!!!!

Our sewer backed up. We usually use genes sewer service, But they were unavailable due to COVID-19. Korte did call Pryor and say that they could squeeze us in early. I had personally planned on being home, but was unable to at the earlier time so my wife had to deal with them. Genes sewer service normally charges about $185 to clear the back up. Korte told my wife that it be $329 to do the same job as Genes. Sorry should have explained that every year in the spring because the tree roots grow into the sewer we have to have this done. Very simple job takes less than an hour I know this because I have done it myself on multiple occasions and this time. Korte is overpriced and will never get my business again And by the way they do not do it all they wouldn't work on our back up generator either. So if you want to pay $150 more for the exact same service as Genes go ahead and hire them I personally wouldn't recommend.

I called HCE in May because a previous neighbor used them. I was having an a/c problem, and they sent someone out. The employee was very friendly. He suggested a dye test to detect a refrigerant leak, but he would have to come back in a couple of days. I paid him $450 down payment. Meanwhile, I asked for someone to quote me a new a/c. When I agreed to purchase the new system, I forgot to tell the guy that I had already paid the $450. He told me he would request a refund - that was May 31st. I've called numerous times, and each time I've been ghosted by the company. No return calls. The customer service people always tell me it's in the works and I should have it by Friday. The people I've talked to have all been friendly, and the installers were great, but the response of the company to get my money back has been a nightmare. As of today, I was told the check was issued. We'll see. I will not recommend them to anyone as long as this saga continues.
