When a water line in our wall developed a leak, Clay responded quickly and professionally, and fixed the problem. Clay communicated everything he was doing, and made sure we were well-informed with options. Highly recommend!

I was contacted by Plumb Serve using Yelp! and The next day they came and checked out all the issues we were having in our bathrooms. The following week they were able to get in here and the job was a lot bigger than expected as we have an older home and they went above and beyond to get the job done correctly. It was supposed to be a couple hour job which turned into a over 12 hour job. They took care of us as if we were family and made the process very smooth. We had to have both showers fixed, new water shutoff also fix a leak on an outside spigot.
We will definitely be using them again and I suggest that anyone that comes across their name to give them a call. They are family run small business and they take care of you the same.

My shower handle stopped working. We tried replacing it ourselves but it's a little complicated. I asked for recommendations on yelp and Logan was one of the first to reply, it was a Saturday. One person said the would call me next week but I have three little girls that need their baths. Logan came out that same day and gave me an estimate. He returned and replaced the faucet, which works great. He also gave a very accurate estimate it only changed a little because of a piece I needed to complete the installation.
I will definetly be calling again.

I noticed that my bathtub faucet was leaking in September 2020. After trying to fix it myself, I realized I needed to call an emergency plumber as it was the weekend and my children and I needed to shower, etc. I called this place and ultimately regret it. The employee who came to our home on the day of the call was very kind. He explained what we needed, about how much it was going to cost, etc. but that he wouldn't fix it that day because he didn't have time. Still, I had to pay the fee for him to come out. We made an appointment for someone else to come out the following day. This employee smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, did not wear a mask during the global pandemic we're in, etc. He was kind and got to work. While working, he created a larger hole than necessary in the wall. He explained it was an accident that he would come out off the company clock to fix the drywall. Unfortunately, he never showed up and wouldn't answer when I attempted to contact him. We then had a huge issue with the bathtub taking several hours to drain, although we NEVER had the slightest issue with this prior to the work. I also noticed lots of plastic and debris were just washed down the drain instead of cleaned up. Frustrated, I called the company back to see what we could do to fix these issues. The lady I spoke with tried to tell me that this was not their fault, they were not liable, it must have been something else, I must have misunderstood him, etc. Finally, she scheduled for the same employee to come out and look at the drain a couple of days later. When he returned, he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about when I asked about the drywall, and then charged me an additional $280 to snake the drain and clean out his debris. Cool, thanks. If I never need an emergency plumber again, this will absolutely not be the place I call.

If you are considering Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Alamance County please first, consider my experience:
A $476.50 estimate for a repair that ultimately cost less than $8.00.
My outdoor hose bib was leaking from a small cap. I put in a call to Mr. Rooter, spoke to a very nice customer service person who seemed glad to help. The agent explained there was a $50.00 non-refundable trip charge which I paid with the understanding that I would receive a professional analysis of any repair required and it would go toward the ultimate repairs. An appointment was made and on the morning of the appointment the tech arrived in a timely manner. We spoke briefly and he confirmed the issue (he never turned on the water to see the leak) and immediately began talking about removing interior drywall to access supply pipe. I absolutely did not intend to remove interior wall. The estimate did not include repair and repaint of the interior which would have left me with a gaping hole and exposed plumbing in my study to be repaired by others at additional expense. Ultimately, I learned that my problem was not only exceptionally common in my area, but, exceptionally easy to fix. I was advised to buy a vacuum breaker repair kit (a device with which I was unacquainted, neither needed nor present on outdoor plumbing where I previously lived) for approximately $7.72. It took about 5minutes to install and, no more leak. Surely, a professional should have been able to do this simple repair without removing drywall and the kind of workmen with whom I desire to do business would certainly have drawn attention to or offered the simple solution. Does my experience speak to the expertise and/or the ethics of Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Alamance County? You decide.
