Best Gas Furnace Repair in Colorado Springs CO
We moved here after the big hail storm into a home that had immediate problems. One of which was the non-working a/c unit. Everyone we called were either too busy to come for at least one week, or didn't even bother to call me back. Jim, the owner of Caliber Services, LLC stopped by at the end of his work day and had us up and running within 30 minutes! Fast, efficient, friendly and reasonable.

We had several items that needed to be addressed at our home due to a home inspection. Bryan came out, showed up on time, was completely professional and did our needed repairs. I cannot say enough good things about how happy my husband and I are with the service we received. I know that we will definitely use this company again if we ever have the need. I also recommended that our realtor put them on their preferred list, that's how impressed we were with Bryan!

I know why CJ's Plumbing came through for me so well when the water heater failed in my Airbnb in Colorado Springs and my guests were complaining about not having any hot water.
But first I'll tell you what they did.
Starting in the morning on a cold December 23, I called numerous other plumbers. None were interested in helping me out.
At about 4pm when it was already getting dark, I called CJ's Plumbing. Carrie, CJ's business manager, answered the phone and said, Yes, we can handle that. Let me contact my crew.
A half hour later one of CJ's master plumbers John Price was at the door saying, What can I do to help you? An hour later Carrie and her husband master plumber Joel Valdez arrived at my door with a brand new water heater. Three hours after that, when it was fully dark and the wind was blowing snow across my front yard, they'd finished installing the new water heater. My Airbnb guests were thrilled to be able to take showers and cook.
But the next day my new water heater was leaking out its pressure relief valve. So, I called Carrie. She said, I'm so sorry. I'll have someone there as soon as possible.
Despite having other customers to take care of, John Price showed up at my door to fix the problem. Soon Joel and his son Tyler arrived and, even though they had to work far into the night to figure out the problem, diagnosed a failed pressure reduction valve and went to the hardware store to buy a new one.
To replace the PRV they had to turn off the water to the entire house. Two of my three 60 year old shut off valves failed after Joel tried to turn them. Then Joel spent 30 minutes squirming his head and the whole upper half of his body into the small opening in the meter pit to reach the third valve.
And guess what? It was broken too!
Joel then called the Colorado Springs Utilities emergency crew who shut off the water to my house from the main. Even after getting the water turned off fixing the PRV was a complicated task due to my prehistoric plumbing setup.
But, as I watched Joel and his crew work, I suddenly realized why they're such a successful plumbing company.
Beyond being knowledgable and skilled, they're also willing to do whatever it takes to solve their clients' plumbing problems -- even when it's cold and dark and the problems are hard to solve.
Thanks, CJ's! You're a great company.

I would highly recommend using Alliance Air Solutions!! They do great work at a very competitive price. They installed a Mitsubishi mini split in my condo downtown and not only has it added value to our investment, it works great with our 16ft ceilings!! Working with the owner Zach was a pleasant experience and we will continue to use him for our future HVAC needs.

If you want to pay 3X the money for your repairs, these are your guys!!!!!!
This morning I noticed a pinhole leak in a pipe near my hot water heater. I called at 9:30 and was told by the person that answered my call that I was going to be charged $125.00/hour for the repair and they would be here in a couple of hours. After waiting all morning and making another phone call, they finally arrived at 2:30. The main plumber made this comment...I brought my friend who does electricity with me at no extra charge. The main plumber made at least 10 trips up and down my staircase retrieving tools that any other plumber would have had with them in a single bag. After wearing out my stairs and about 15 minutes of actual work, this underhanded guy charged me $280. I was sick.
He tried to justify this outrageous charge with some crap about, You got two plumbers for the price of one, and you know it was kinda hard to get to it. I didn't charge you for the call out, just from the warehouse. So the bold face lie about the $125/hr charge was just to get in our front door so they could rip us off. These knuckleheads were like Dumb and Dumber meets Cheech and Chong doing plumbing. We'll see if the repair holds.
Affordable Plumbing charged me $110 three months ago on a weekend no less to fix a similar pinhole in a different pipe about 8 inches away from this one.
Don't EVER use these guys.

Pete and Jay were awesome! They helped with a water heater malfunctioning... they tested everything and gave me options for both repair and replacement. I ended up going the replacement route due to the water heater being 17 years old. Pete and Jay were able to install the new water heater the next day first thing in the AM and all under 90 min. Definitely recommend!

I made an appointment to clean and inspect my furnace. Eric was very responsive after I made the appointment that same day. He confirmed my address and showed up during his designated window. He accomplished the work quickly and gave me a full report of what he found. He only charged $44 so best value out there.

Absolutely horrible experience. They came out the first time had absolutely no idea what they were doing. Completely reworked my 2 year old furnace. 3 hours and 45 minutes later had reworked my furnace. Told we needed a communicating thermostat that they would order one show up with it told us the thermostat alone was 854.00 we told him we had seen them for less the 400.00, the tech said that's the price. We agreed to that he put something on my AC unit , messed with the wires on my furnace, completely disconnected our humidifier there wires just hanging and he damaged some sheet rock, at this point it was more than 4 hours we were told we weren't being charged for that visit. Needless to say he had to put back our old thermostat and the system hasn't worked right since. Showed up today told me a flat rate price of 1800.00 to install a thermostat and the price of the thermostat, I said I'd rather just pay hourly the tech got mad and said nope we will just call it a day and walked off. Said his boss said it's either the 1700 or we won't finish the job. Now I'm having to get someone else out here. This company is a joke, they only know how how to service the systems they sell yet I was told they knew Amana. If you want the job done right at a fair price call someone else.

While living in Colorado Springs I had a few encounters with BullsEye. We had them do small repairs for us and the work was good, but the price was definitely high. I do believe they price match though. Although those two small repairs went smoothly, things went extremely bad when we were selling our house. The buyers of our property used BullsEye to do a sewer scope. BullsEye came back with video they said showed an improper slope and blockage, and recommended a 5K repair. My wife and I agreed due to needing to sell the house. Once we agreed, they then said the original quote was wrong and it was actually going to be 12K. At this point we decided it was best to get a second and third opinion. When the other two companies came back with their own scopes they said there was absolutely nothing wrong, and that the original scope had been done incorrectly. This was obviously almost a catastrophic blow to my wife and my life's. Being a young couple, 12K is not something we could handle. Please if you do chose BullsEye get second opinions.

Lol Ok, Nice, blame the contractor on your shoddy work and refusal to fix it. Not sure how my being the contractor caused your people to screw things up. Things are installed exactly the same way no matter who the contractor is, toilets, sinks, dishwasher, tubs, showers, etc, all the plumbing installed the same way. The plans were clear, the older gentleman who used run things said at Johnnys said, yep, the plans show the gas at the back, not sure why they put it there. I even wrote in red sharpie on the floor decking to show where everything went inside in the kitchen and bathrooms and asked them when they showed up if they understood. sure sure....we got it. The next day I came back, and screw ups. NOT where we had discussed. There was nothing wrong with the stuff I supplied. Brand new in the box name brand items and absolutely far from cheapest. Good quality. Not my fault your guys don't know to install the correct wax ring. Not my fault that you didn't install a condensation drain. I know exactly what they are and how they work. We do have them in other places other than here you know. Ive had to clear them occasionally where I used to live due to the tropical climate. You said what? theres a furnace/AC there? Is that new? Um, no, look at the plans, its right there, has always been there, there were even supposed to be two, but instead had you install infloor heat downstairs. So the only change in plan was removing one unit down stairs. The upstairs unit was always there. Brand new expensive name brand shower hardware, abolutely no reason I shouldnt have hot water in my master shower if you installed it right. Brand new toilets, very expensive toilets I might add no reason for them to leak from your install. And ABSOLUTELY no reason to have sewer smell in my one bathroom. Poorly scheduled is not on me, it was according to when YOU could get up there. Held me up waiting on YOU to do the rough in plumbing etc so I could proceed to drywall and the rest. Misled? Nothing misleading here.. PLEASE show me how I misled you. Are you not a professional? Here are the plans, here I am showing you in person exactly what the plans say, Here I drew on the floor so theres no doubt....Here is brand new in the box very nice fixtures. You didn't tell me anything about water filtration until I asked way down the road. I went with another company due to all of the issues I have been having with YOUR company by then. Very happy with the other company. NO, actually I did NOT slam or one star review every contractor. Thats a lie. I was quite happy with other contractors. The electrical guys in particular were quite awesome as a matter of fact. Yep, I refused to pay the last measly $1K since you refused to come and fix the problem and charged me for two gas taps I don't have. Even tried to charge me for the toilet parts that I paid for. You threatened to sue, I said, please do, I would like a judge to hear all this. So shoddy work, can't keep a crew, new plumbers constantly, and a liar to boot. Show me where I slammed all my other contractors. I will wait. This is on you. YOU asked for a review, so I gave you one. Meanwhile I see quite a few other one star and bad reviews.....hmmmmm Guess its all their fault too. Yes people, get a different plumber. I will be having another plumber come out, fix their screwups, and then yes, we can go before a judge to explain why another company had to fix your screw ups....and then you can pay for it. Several neighbors up here are going with other companies too. They are not happy with your service either. You need to get some people who can do the job right, and stand behind your work.

Horrible. Don't even consider them. Jason was rude, did not warm of $150 service charge, left sprinkler lines uncapped, did not do any repair work other than putting a 10 cent connector on a cut drip line, and was altogether unpleasant. He rushed around the property, only allowing each zone to pop up without even watching to evaluate coverage. Very bad experience.
