You can probably discern that this will be a VERY positive review, it may also be a bit longer than the average. So, if you just want to know, were they good, were they timely, etc. they were 5 stars all around. But, if you want to know how truly exceptional Drain Wizard was, read on.

About three months ago the sewer line at one of my properties began backing up into the house. I tried my plumber of 30 years who was unsuccessful at breaking the clog. Another plumber came out with a bigger machine and successfully (for a while) opened the line. It dawned on me that I had a specific sewer line insurance policy. The policy and the insurance company also did a great job, but that is a different review.

We had several large companies out to diagnose and fix the problem enough times that $2,000.00 of my $5,000.00 insurance cap was used. At this point my research pointed me to Drain Wizard. When the technicians came out with all the right equipment to do the diagnosis. They pinpointed where the issue was and after some negotiation with the insurance they released the remainder of the 5k and I added an extra 1k to have the Drain Wizard team come out and do the final fix.

After several hours of digging the tech called me to say the found the problem. What they discovered was that when the power company buried the power lines they drilled through my sewer line with the electrical line. the Drain Wizard team worked with the power company to rectify the problem until 10 PM when they were finally successful.

Drain Wizard saved me cutting down a mature tree which the the other companies identified as the problem. It was not the problem.

Would give DW 10 stars if I could.

Tanner was awesome. He got the work done within 24 hours and charged me 1/2 of what Roto-rooters quoted me. I will definitely be using them again.

Fantastic service. Dante was able to come first thing in the morning to fix the leaking faucet in my tub. It was leaking so badly that I had to turn my water off, but now, not a drop! Great communication & very responsive. Very fair price and good work! I will definitely hire him in the future--in fact, I've already consulted him on another project!

This company should not be allowed to do business. I will be contacting the BBC and the state regulatory licensing agency. My experience was horrible a week long ordeal.  4 different technicians came to my residence within the 7 days none with proper PPE. One tech caused a gas leak which could have killed my family as we slept (tech left at 9pm) The next day when I left out to run an errand and returned I smelled gas before I entered the house. Mind you I told the tech I thought I smelled gas he sprayed some bubbles and said I must be smelling WD40 that he used. I called the gas company and they confirmed the gas leak and turned the gas off. All of this for a simple part replacement on a water heater. Not such a complicated job right? Well it was for this company. I recommend you ignore any positive reviews and seek recommendations from neighbor, colleague, family and friend. This company is the worst.

I have been using them for 10 years for my septic tanks until my toilet got issues. They try to charged me $700 for 1 hour job and I was able to fix it for $350. Plus they charged me $125 for service fee. Stay away.

I was assigned Cassidy Plumbing by HomeServe, first appointment that was scheduled, they never called or showed up, set up another appointment, they came, couldn't find the leak, said someone else would have to come with proper equipment, but the problem should be resolved by the end of the week that was on Tuesday, waited the rest of the week, no call came, called them first thing the following Monday, they set up an appointment, and once again, they didn't show up, this was around Christmas, was my only day off that week, and they wasted my time yet again. My advice, don't let them waste your time, and good luck getting through on the phone, voicemail was always full.....probably everyone calling to find out why they never showed up.

We own a restaurant, and the last tenants really made a mess of the grease trap and all of the plumbing that they fixed. So when our new tenant moved in, we realized that there was quite a few things that needed to be fixed by a professional, not just a dude with a wrench. I got quotes from a couple of places, but I was immediately impressed by the guy who came and gave us an estimate, Nick. He was proactive, thorough, polite, and spoke with knowledge that was easily understood by me, an absolute novice. He was so good that when I scheduled the work to be done, I requested him to do the work. I knew he would do a good job. Well, he did a great job! It was a big job, and it took nearly the whole day. He left it beautiful and clean, and, everything is running well. I will definitely call this company again for other work that needs to be done. After seeing some of these negative reviews, I was worried. But honestly, I did not have any negative experience at all. In fact, I am incredibly happy with the way the company communicated as well as the work done. I thought the price was fair as there were quite a few things that needed to be done.

Do not hire them. I think he is a scam artist! He was hired to do a small job in tore up my entire floor, which cost me $5000 out of my own pocket because he kept the rest of the insurance money saying he spent it on plumbing. I had somebody go into the house after him and a lot of the things that he said he did we're not done.

if you want a company that is a joke look no further. The owner is a complete jerk, he laughs when you have an issue that his company did. The way he speaks to females was beyond ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and find an actual company, instead of this pathetic excuse of  a group of so called plumbers.

Had a clogged sink, which required snaking. Quoted 150 but clog was more in-depth, and was charged more, perfectly normal. The first day cost me 300, then said he had to come back the next day which cost 300 more. Was some shady pricing. In total cost me $600 and the drain was still clogged. Called the rotor-rooter company after 5-star plumbing and the guy unclogged it in 10 minutes which cost $420.  I would not recommend 5-star plumbing, I believe the plumber to be inexperienced and slightly shady in pricing. If you no longer wish to refund me.  To reply to my issues: you said a price via text of 300 dollars then sent me and invoice for $360,( in photo) citing you checked the pipes. Only after being confronted with the issue, did you come up with I went over the rental time for the snake, therefore I would be charged This is my issue, besides another company coming in and resolving the issues in less than 30 mins. You told I had a collapsed pipe in the front yard (photo), to which roto-rotor found no evidence.(photo)

To say we are beyond disappointed is an understatement. You trust your home owners warranty company and the contractors they send out to you to fix your home problems and it turns out that they just lie about situation. Jason from TCP Plumbing company came out and tried to fix our leak that we had downstairs from our upstairs shower and he did a quick fix only to have it leak again 3 weeks later. He came a second time, looked at it again and in less than 5 mins said that he didn't know where the leak was coming from and he would have to contact the home warranty company and ask permission to get into the ceiling. He left only to have the home warranty office email us 2 wks later to tell us our claim was no longer going to be covered because the plumber said it was an improper install and he couldn't do anything about it. Little did he know that we had his whole conversation on camera and were able to capture exactly what he said and turn it into the home warranty office to reopen our claim and send a second company. He blatantly lied about the whole situation and to say he is unprofessional is putting it mildly. Unprofessional and just plain lacking in the skill need in his profession. We do not recommend Jason or this company at any cost!

They are unreliable and do not care about customers... their tag line is don't get Milked by the other guys... regardless they don't even bring the cows to the pasture, the shirk all their responsibilities... TERRIBLE
