Best Garbage Disposal Installation in Chesapeake VA
Of course the AC breaks when my husband is not here! Mrs. Dodd was so helpful when I called. She walked me through some things on the phone just to make sure it wasn't a breaker or something simple. Mr. Dodd arrived on time, prepared and very knowledgeable. He had exactly what we needed. Very fair and accommodating on a hot Saturday. Exactly the personal service I was looking for from a small business. We will use them again and I highly recommend.

We just received excellent service from Kelvin after one of our tenants had a leaky kitchen faucet. He took care of our request the same day and was very professional. Because of Kelvin, we received this message from our tenant. Thanks for making us look good!

Despite of me missing the call back to confirm an appointment twice, these guys were graceful and professional. Clint came out, diagnosed the problem, including crawling under the house, replaced the faulty part, pulled out some metal part that broke and was clogging the pipe since a while ago. I am a satisfied customer. The charge was fair as well.

I submitted a request for a quote here online to get an idea of how much it would cost to get a couple spigots replaced. The quote was directed at another company but King's gave me a call right away and we scheduled the appointment after they gave me a ballpark estimate over the phone.
I live 3 hours away and have been stood up by contractors many times so I was impressed when Ron and Steve showed up on time after my long trek down. They took a look at the work and let me know it would be slightly more but the price was still reasonable. I needed a toilet installed too and they jumped right in and knocked it out for me saving me the hassle.
In the end the work went smoother than expected and they did a great job. Yes, I could have saved money doing it myself but in the end one of the most expensive repairs is flood damage and I now have a piece of mind knowing the job was done properly for a reasonable price. I'll definitely be using them for any future needs.

Thank you to Brandon who was very quick to locate the problem and fix it he had all the materials necessary and was very effective in communicating back to us where the problem stemmed from. Will recommend to anyone. I called at 8am this morning Brandon was ON time at 1pm and was done and out in a little over an hour would've been faster if I wasn't bugging with a hundred questions. He was very understanding and patient.

I'm very impressed. They called in advance to let me know that they were on the way, arrived early, were extremely polite and professional, and got the job done quickly and cleanly. I'd definitely recommend them for your plumbing needs!

Tried to book a appointment to have my unit serviced, was told that week. That was over a month ago. Called and text with 0 response. Also been waiting on a pad for my unit since 2019. The crew put a bed of pebbles which fall out into the yard creating a mess constantly. They might have been on point a few years back, just disappointed at this point.

This review is for their storefront only, not plumbing service at my house.
The salespeople they have in their store are so much more knowledgeable than your standard Home Depot/Lowes employee that it is not even comparable. I brought in a random trim piece that I had removed from my shower and the gentleman at the counter had found the match in his book within seconds. When I had previously brought the same piece to Lowes, they recommended I try here.
So, I give 4 stars to their salesroom for having knowledgeable, helpful employees.

The following is the feedback I provided to A1 Sewer and Drain in response to their after 'service' email requesting such. As it has been over a week and I have not heard from them I am posting my feedback here....
I called Friday, 5/14, because my kitchen sink was clogged very badly. I was sent an inexperienced plumber who seemed intent from the get go to sell me on having my flooring demo'd so that the line could be replaced (I'm on a slab...). From the first phone call before he even came out he mentioned that as a possibility. The estimate started at 10k to demolish my living room floor and the floor in our office and replace the line.
After he arrived, his first attempt at clearing the clog was to use a hydrojet with an inappropriate 75' attachment that he had never used before (it was new..). He proceeded to climb onto my 2nd story roof which is extremely steep to get to the roof vent. The hydrojet attachment was only 75 feet of which probably 30-40ft was used just to get to the pipe on the roof leaving him maybe 35ft to insert into the 2nd story roof vent. The nozzle on the end was 3-4 inches in length and solid metal. There was no way he was going to make any turns with that. Even so it was at least another 30-40ft to the sink and the clog was at least 60+ feet beyond the sink. Then they had trouble even getting the water flowing to run the machine as apparently it was not set up correctly. After this failed attempt (which it was obvious from the beginning that it would be) it took him at least 15 minutes to come down from the roof as he was terrified of the incline. He partner was considering calling the fire department to get him down. It was then that we noticed that he appeared to be wearing cowboy boots.... incredible.
Anyway, after getting down off of the roof he finally asked where the kitchen sink was located (I had told him in the beginning thinking he would start troubleshooting there but I pointed it out to him again). So, then he tried to go in through the p-trap under the kitchen sink with an auger with the corkscrew at the end of it. He got in about 60ft (according to him) and pulled it back out and it had hair and other crap on it. He quickly wound it all back into the machine and made no attempt to run it back through again. Instead, he put the p-trap cap back on and ran the water which still backed up. He didn't seem to want to try again at the kitchen sink with his auger and instead was intent on trying to sell me on having the line replaced for $10,000 which would require them to demo my floor in my living room and office to replace the line. Before leaving he did give it one more try through the access port in my laundry room. He ran a 100-foot auger through and came up dry. Needless to say that the drain in kitchen was still clogged.... Then after he made several phone calls (apparently to someone at A1) he came back and told me they could replace the line (demoing my floor in LR and office for only $4750 since it was only one line. It was always one line). Anyway, after 2+ hours and nothing being fixed I was charged $195 I paid him $200 in cash and didn't get a receipt, didn't even think about that at the time after being subjected to all that BS. Even on the way out he was telling me that as an 'expert' he knew the only way to clear the clog was to replace the line from the sink going through the foundation and that he would hold onto the estimate for when I decided to do it.
On Tue, 5/18, I had another company, Tony and Son Plumbing, come out. Tony cut an access port into the existing piping behind some drywall on the other side of where the kitchen sink is and ran another auger with a cutter at the end through and my line was cleared in minutes. Needless to say, I will not be calling A1 Sewer and Drain for service ever again.
If I had one word to describe my experience it would be Shysters... In my opinion you should be ashamed of yourselves for this service (or lack there of) and should return my $200, but I won't hold my breath...

I got a quote from one plumber for $5000 and called Bob for a second opinion. Bob told me what to do over the phone, quick trip to Lowes and $17 later the problem was fixed.
Bob the plumber is the best!!! I would recommend to anyone looking for plumbing service.

Just moved into a new house called Roto-rooter on a Sunday for a toilet emergency and they were able to fix the problem. We had Gary help us out and he was friendly and super knowledgleble. We had called Micheal & Sons previously and they were going to charge almost $300 more and $89 dollars just to come out, Roto rooter was fast and friendly, took care of the problem, charged less and no service fee call. We will definitely call them again for any plumbing issues!!

Ernie and Carlos were amazing! Our sewage grinder pump went out over the Memorial Day weekend. They showed up and had the new pump order to install the next day. I have had nothing but great experiences with the Chesapeake Office and will continue to use them for all our plumbing needs.

I have been using them for 10 years for my septic tanks until my toilet got issues. They try to charged me $700 for 1 hour job and I was able to fix it for $350. Plus they charged me $125 for service fee. Stay away.

Was given a fast appointment for leaking P-trap in my kitchen. Fixed in no more than 10 minutes. Wyatt was excellent and they're extremely efficient and professional.

They do not do work up to code, steal tools and personal property and never finish a job that they are paid for. Jason and Melissa are both con artists. They were paid in full for a job and didn't even complete it. On top of stealing over 1k of items from the home. The owner of the trailer is not happy, never was. Took them to court and they never showed but were quick to file bankruptcy to clear the judgement.
Funny that 2 of the reviews are from Melissa Bond herself.

Do not hire them. I think he is a scam artist! He was hired to do a small job in tore up my entire floor, which cost me $5000 out of my own pocket because he kept the rest of the insurance money saying he spent it on plumbing. I had somebody go into the house after him and a lot of the things that he said he did we're not done.
