If you want a plumber, or just converting spring and fall heating and cooling, this is who you want. John is prompt, will come right away if you have an emergency, does excellent work, and charges a modest rate. We have been using him for several years now, and have never had a complaint. He cleans up after any work he does; he is friendly and knows a lot about his business. Give him a try

Purchased an HVAC mini-split zoned by room central system from them in 12' to replace an out of date furnace and swamp cooler combo. Good system. Fast forward 6 years. One unit stops function. Yes, it naturally is already out of warranty. However I call them since they know the install and learned that the husband/wife combo is now just the wife and the husband who I worked with is not longer involved. Not good-she is uncaring and difficult to work with. I try to get them to come out and check it out and that is a fiasco-first it is brutal to even try to get something scheduled and then they want to charge me time and a half to diagnose it after I get off of work at 5 pm-they say that is after hours. I was already a customer and this is how I am treated.
I finally decide to use another HVAC contractor that is licensed for install/service for Fujitsu as the manufacturer and lo and behold they immediately ID the issue is that the units were installed WAY TO CLOSE to the ceiling which hinders airflow and leads to air blower failure. The crazy part is that the instructions for proper install are right there in the standard owner's manual.
I mean how can they get that wrong? I hired them to follow the specs and protocol as a licensed contractor for Fujitsu who has installed this prior to mine and they total got it wrong for all 3 indoor wall units in the house and it was not even close-the clearance is supposed to be 18 and all 3 are 12 or less-how does this happen and who knows how many other customers have been impacted?! Hello pending small claims court suit-I had to spend over $1000 to get this diagnosed correctly and get a new blower installed on the unit in question-who knows how much more I will have to pay if the other 2 go out as well.

This company has been out to my house three or four times in the last two months to try to fix my evaporative cooler. They replaced my flex hose with copper for the line going into the cooler because the technician claimed they didn't have 3/8 inch flex but he just wanted to charge me for the copper because of course they have 3/8 inch flex hose. He replaced the drain valve and that copper line and the solenoid and it fixed nothing. I can't call them again because they didn't fix it. And the first time I met the one plumber from this outfit he told me that abortion and vaccines were a plot to kill the rest of us off so the elites would have enough resources on the planet. OK so that's a crazy person.

I've used East Mountain Plumbing now on three (3) different occasions. They are reliable, show up on time and have expert plumbers on staff. Their rates are reasonable and they perform quality work.

Another rave review for Number One Plumbing, AC, Solar, and Electric! Chance and his solar team have provided exceptional service and customer care through installation of a solar system for me, and promptly responded to my questions on getting the system optimized. Always professional, courteous, and quick to solve any problem. Chance, along with the rest of the Number One Team, have a reputation for exceptional service and taking personal ownership to see a job through the right way. It's great to have found a consistently reliable and responsible business like Number One--the peace of mind is priceless.

I had a company tell me I had to replay a HVAC unit, EVERYTHING was bad the tech said, he wrote up a long letter.
I called Western Mechanical (they have great reviews and they were recommended to me by several people) to come out as a second opinion. Not only was my unit fine, it's still going 4 years later. Western Mech is MY new HVAC company. I go to them for both my home and company. I've never had an issue. They saved my family ~9K.

Thank you for all your help, I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful company that actually care for their customers. They were patient with my situation and as soon as I was able to have my water heater replaced this company wastes no time on making it happen. From beginning to end their customer service was right on! I recommend Big Bear Mechanical for all your HVAC needs.

We called desperately needing our heater repaired and they came out the same day, which was something as it is a very busy time of year. They were professional and repaired it quickly and at a very reasonable price. Good job!!!

These guys are disorganized and it seems that they only have one screwdriver. One camera. One saw for the entire company. They are very disorganized and the front office seems to make appts for crews assuming the one regular tip Phillips screwdriver will be available and not in Los Lunas if needed in rio rancho.

They fixed the issue I give them that. But not at a good price. Roto rooter would have been cheaper. My scheduled time was from 2-5. He should up after 5:30. 6:40 he gives me a bill for 3 hours of work. Got him to go down but he said he got there at 5 and it was almost 7. So was charged for 2 hours of work when at best maybe 1.5. So yes they will fix the issue but gouge you in the time. Just don't use them

There are many facets to Sunshine Plumbing & Heating, which are not all on the same team. The salesperson will promise you the world, telling you about how they will fix/install your heater with quick efficiency. The receptionist will tell you they are booked, and call somebody else. The actual Boiler Tech will start the work, then disappear half-way through. This is a broken system. The ONE guy who was their boiler guy, came out to remove my 22-year-old boiler, and install a Tankless boiler seemed like he knew what he was doing at the beginning. After only two days of work, he disappeared from Sunshine's ranks, supposedly not returning phone calls, emails, text messages. What happened? Who knows? Sunshine apparently doesn't even know. Later, I found out this Boiler guy has done this disappearing-act before. So, Sunshine sent out a plumber to continue the Boiler work. The plumber stated to me he doesn't know how the water gets into the Boiler, and he is a plumber. Great, just great. The Boiler guy performs a reappearing-act, about a week after he left, and decides to continue the work at my house. Unfortunately for me, we spent the winter with no heat because the wiring for the radiant floor valves was not properly setup/connected to the boiler. There was more work that was needed to actually get the floor valves to turn on. Apparently, the Boiler Tech did not know this, or care to complete the work. In fact, the boiler did not even have a purge valve, so water could not be drained from the system. The radiant floor lines were never purged of air or old water. I called Sunshine Plumbing about this problem, and was told they currently have not Boiler techs, and was told to call somebody else. Unreal. So, the floors throughout my house were cold over the winter because Sunshine Plumbing and Heating does not know how to properly install a Tankless Boiler. I had to call another company to come fix the disaster that Sunshine Plumbing had left behind. My recommendation, if you have Boiler work, DO NOT use Sunshine Plumbing and Heating. They are terrible at returning phone calls, performing Boiler work, and just being honest about what needs to be done and is being done.
