Our furnace was out and after a number of calls to HVAC service providers in the area we made a call to Bellows.  

Not only did Bellows show up the same day (now that's great service!) but the technician, John Costales, was professional, courteous, and knew his stuff.  

John was able to diagnose the problem and suggest how to most economically repair our system.  

Would certainly recommend if you need HVAC service. We are a Bellows customer now.

Great experience overall. Furnace replacement and AC install on a vacant house with more work to follow and wanted their work in first so any drywall/repainting can be done

Scheduled estimate, Adam showed up right on time and took a thorough look to make sure he knew exactly what needed to be done then provide the estimate later that day for just the furnace or furnace + AC.

Went with both, was pleasantly surprised when he said it's a one day job. Morning of installation Adam and his crew arrived 10 minutes early.  They completed the job same day as promised.  By the way, these guys work hard, maybe too hard as they worked well into the night to complete it even though I told them to feel free to complete it next day as it didn't impact the rest of the house work.  

Anyways no complaints here from me but the neighbors did wonder what was going on so depending on the community you may actually need to tell them to stop working and just come back next day.

Next morning walked through to review and test out things and everything works and looks great and I'm a happy customer

Prompt and professional, the technicians of Pacific Coast did a great job explaining the levels or repairs, what's included with each level, and quickly completed the work as agreed upon. Take's time to understand how the circuitry works, especially in old houses like ours, but our technician, Richard, was patient and went through everything thoroughly to make sure we understood his recommendations and work.

We had a bathroom remodel that our contractors were not able to complete correctly.  Door and door frame were not completed, the electrical was a mess and they had sealed up the walls before completing the electrical.  

We found Norm on Yelp as San Mateo Handyman.  He came over and walked us through what we would need to get done.  We hired a licensed electrician who completed and fixed our electrical issue.  

Once that was complete, Norm came back and finished all the wall patching, texturing, installing our door frame, and paint.

The work turned out great, and my wife and I are relieved to finally have our home put back together.

He also cleaned everything up as if he was never there.

I really appreciated the pre-work conversations. He's adept at gauging your level of technical knowledge to both get prepared for the work onsite as well as to set your expectations as the customer of what might be able to be done and possible complications that might arise with the requested work.

We went through two lighting installation/modification jobs for our home with the work that I wanted done. It turned out that one of my requests would lead to significant work on the drywall to accomplish, so I opted out of doing that work. However, once he understood why I was requesting the work, he brainstormed some thoughtful suggestions for me to research and helped direct me in the right direction. While he was working on my 2nd request, I found the solution that would meet 90% of my goal with no retrofit work required. That was an awesome tip that led to a solid end solution.

My 2nd request was an installation of a light fixture in the master closet. He executed that effectively, efficiently, and exactly to the spec requested. He tidied up around where worked and after he left, it was like he wasn't there.

I really enjoyed working with him. Modest rates, warm and friendly demeanor, and just all around great guy. He's at the top of my go-to list for these kind of jobs from now on.

Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for a smart, efficient, and reliable generalist.
