I picked Griggs for the good reviews on Yelp. Unfortunately, I did not have the same great experience. 1) They did not show up at the schedule time, even though my card was already charged for the deposit. When I called, the person I spoke to said he did not know what happened and that they will find someone. 2) 2 guys arrived 4 hours after my scheduled time. I needed an extra hole for the drinking faucet which I had told them about when scheduling the appointment. The guy did not read the directions in the manual, proceeded to drill and promptly cracked the composite granite sink.  The guy left saying the office will call me and reimburse me for the destroyed sink.  4) There was not follow up call, so I called myself. Took me 15 min just to explain what happened and  confirm they owe me a refund. They acknowledged and promised to refund. There were no apologies given and no offer to rectify the situation. I asked about the broken sink replacement and was told no, but I could try to email the business and plead my case.... great. Just hope other folks don't have to repeat this frustrating experience.

Best service, prices, everything bar none. I would use them for soo much more if they were close to me in California. I called the owner, who was very down to earth and helpful, we were trying to help family get the water heater going and it was new years eve. They went above and beyond to help. Not only did the price come in substantially lower than the other plumbing company, they were very helpful and did more than needed. When I see this sort of service, which is rare, I take time to write up an honorable mention. Thank you Jones and Sons...I can see why you have stay I'm business for generations. Like any good service provider or doctor, when you find one you can trust you'll follow them ANYWHERE they go. That's our experience with Curtis!! We got to know Curtis when he was with a large plumbing company that will remain unnamed. While he was with them the service we received was straight forward and honest HOWEVER after Curtis left we found out the hard way that the on-site plumbers were now being expected to sell maintenance contracts. Ours was signed back in January and to date we've not received a SINGLE follow up call to schedule the routine service that is part of the maintenance contract we signed. Not only that, when we were having the plumbing issue back in January we were given a hard sell to have a mainline clean-out drain installed for an astronomical amount. Needless to say, a month ago when we were having a plugged kitchen drain issue we DIDN'T contact the large plumbing company we had the maintenance contract with...we tracked down Curtis and he's our plumber from now until the end of time! It's nice to know that when Curtis walks in the door we will once again get the same straight forward and honest service HE provided before because that's the kind of business owner Curtis is! Don't ever change man!!

I was selling a home that unbeknownst to me had an open permit from a previous owner for an air conditioner that had been installed 13 years ago but never received the final inspection from the city.  When this home went under contract, the title search discovered the open permit and the buyer insisted that the permit be closed out.  I contacted the air conditioning company that installed the system.  They re-opened the permit and called for the final inspection.  They failed the inspection, came out and did some work and called for another inspection.  They failed the 2nd inspection because the gas connection and vent from the air handler were not up to code.  The A/C company was losing money because they were doing this work for free and now needed the gas contractor that did the original gas work to make the necessary corrections.  Unfortunately the gas contractor could not do the work until 3 weeks later (they also would have to do it for free so they weren't motivated to get it done quickly) but the closing was scheduled in 1 week.  I needed the work to get done right away so I called Florida Gas & Plumbing, explained the time crunch I was under and Rick came out to evaluate the situation.  He sent 2 technicians out to fix the incorrect installation done by the previous gas contractor, called for the final inspection (which passed this time) and the closing was on time.  Rick is a true professional and I highly recommend Florida Gas and Plumbing to anyone who wants to get the job done right!

Eddy did a great job removing an old water heater and replacing it with a new one (in a very tough place to access).  Was right on time, quick and neat.  Great service.

The job incurred many delays from the very beginning, from permits to inspections, reworworking issues, to reinspections. The overall experience has left me extremely disappointed and not completely satisfied.(Jeff was the sales rep)

I've been waiting patiently for over three weeks now for the reapplication of the hydro-seeding process that was included in the bid.

After two unreturned phone calls to Jeff, one voicemail to Lisa, (unreturned) and  one call to the scheduling section makes me think that the dialog process is unfortunately over at this level

I always worry when I have to call a plumber as I am a 70 year old woman and had no referrals that I could depend upon. I am so happy that I found these guys, a family owned company. From a warm welcome on the phone by Alicia to Dave Price, the plumber, who came out, explained to me what was wrong, the pricing, did the work in a professional way and cleaned up when it was done. He didn't try to up-sell me or gouge me. He treated me like I was his grandma and made me feel like a valued customer and friend. I can't say enough good things about this company and it's employees. I recommend them highly, if I could give them 10 stars I would.

Just experienced an incredibly positive customer service situation with an issue with our air handler unit. The owner and install manager were personally involved to investigate and resolve. The integrity and professionalism demonstrated was exemplary! You guys just earned another customer for life with your service and

Two Very helpful men showed up to take care of a kitchen sink plumbing issue. They ended up on top of the roof working hard to work the snake through our pipes. Was finishing up the the tub started filling with black water! They loosened something up and shifted focus to the bathtub. They were very polite, informative and fast to respond within the same day. Will go with them if we are in this situation again.
