Also, Dimitri is the best. He went above and beyond and is extremely knowledgeable without trying to get you spend extra money. He was always on time too and is extremely thorough. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Our project took three weeks to complete, and it was incredible how non-invasive and clean Dimitri was, even through snowstorms. Plus, he was great/considerate with pets.

I purchased a investment property with a great view of the Mississippi River valley. After the purchase realized quickly I had my work cut out for me, everything that could be wrong with a 140 yr house was seriously in need of repair. Contacted Mark for complete plumbing replacement. He got me a very competitive quote quickly, we agreed and he went to work. We worked through many challenges along the way but he stuck to his quote and finished the job to perfection. I am a senior who over the years has had some experience with plumbers. However, I ran into a problem that none of the plumbers I hired were able to repair. Our upstairs shower began leaking down into our kitchen. It was not immediately apparent since it was leaking behind the crown molding of the kitchen cabinets. Over time, I had a parade of experience plumbers in my home working on this and none of them could find the problem. After one plumber thought the problem was fixed, we ended up with water running down our kitchen walls, out an electric outlet and out on to our counter top. Not getting any results, this got costly and we gave up. We just didn't use the shower. Many years later, and out of shear frustration, I made another attempt to find a good experienced plumber. After numerous phone calls, Jim Murr Plumbing was highly recommended. I was afraid to get my hopes up, but this time we got lucky! Jim came out to our home, and we explained all of the problems we had gone through over the years and to his credit, he did not try to run away. Essentially, the job was quite complex, and involved other issues as time went on. However, we could not be happier with the out come. Jim sent the A team over to our house and they wasted no time. They also carefully explained along the way everything that needed to be done and the costs involved. Surprises like the wall being moved. Also, after all that we had gone through, we decided to put in a tile shower. And fortunately, Jim had just the guys to do the work! The quality of the work was exceptional and we were thrilled with the results. We also have a greater appreciation for the work involved. I have recommended Jim Murr Plumbing to others.

I'm generally handy around the house so I tried many things including attempting to flush out the clog by dumping boiling water down the drain, using baking soda and vinegar mix and dismantling the drain and snaking the pipe myself... One trip to Menards, three hours and a sore back later finally I gave in and decided to contact a plumber.

I called several plumbers including one plumber that was highly referred by friend. I was told by that company they would charge me double-time due to the weekend and suggested I call back Monday. I called back 8:30 am on Monday and they told me they were fully booked for the next two days and they would call me back if they could fit me in.

The last place I called was Affordable Sewer and Water for the St. Paul area (I live in Maplewood) the operator was professional and gave me and quote which was aproimately $70 cheaper than all the quotes I received that morning plus they were able to schedule me right away so I set an appointment for that afternoon.

My Drain is now free of clogs after the plumber used his 60-foot power snake to clear it out. After all of this I still haven't heard back from the two companies who said they would call back. The plumber was conscious and respectful of my house and put on boot coverings and didn't leave any mess whatsoever. I'm completely satisfied with the service Affordable Sewer and Water has provided, they communicated their fees clearly and efficiently performed the job. I will contact Affordable Sewer and Water first next time I have plumbing needs.

These guys are a joke.  The bank I bought my house from sub-contracted them to do plumbing repairs on my house, probably picked them at random. I would never have chosen them.

Their guy sat in my basement smoking cigarettes, doing nothing, charging by the hour while he waited for the city water utility to turn on the water main.  I never asked him to wait in my basement. If I had been there, I'd have told him to do his job or get lost.  Instead, because he hung around doing nothing under the pretense of working, they got to charge me for three times the amount of labor they actually performed. The truth is, he was unable to do any work until the water main was turned on.  Very, very shady. They also charged me an enormous truck fee (around $70) just for getting off their duffs and driving a mile and a half to my house.

In spite of how skeezy this all was, I never disputed the fees or how they were calculated even though I knew I was getting screwed.  I didn't want to wade into the quagmire of smalls claims court as I was trying to get my house into livable condition.

The bank stupidly paid in advance for the work, cut them a huge check and told them to remit the remaining balance to me after they took their cut for their labor. Even with all of their hidden fees and questionable charges,there was still a sizable sum left over.

Well, you can guess how that turned out.  I had to threaten to sue them, file complaints with the BBB, and repeatedly call one of the plumbers at his other job before they finally cut me a check for the outstanding balance.  It took weeks to get my money back.  That money wasn't a gift from the bank.  It was slated for other repairs that needed to be done as part of our signed contract.  Everyone deserves to be able to move into a house that has a functioning toilet and running water.

It sure seemed like they were trying to rip me off in any way they could.  The bank made it easy for them, and they took every advantage they could of my situation.  

My advice: steer clear.  And if you are ever in a position where the bank you are buying your home from is paying for repairs to be performed, if those repairs are going to be performed after you move in, make sure you're the one choosing contractors and subcontractors.  And don't allow anyone to make bids who has bad reviews.  I don't know if Tschida Brothers did before, but they do now.

Our bathroom sink had a leak and my handy husband was not able to repair it. We called Boldt Plumbing. Logan was our technician. He arrived on time, which is very important to us. He introduced himself right away and he was very pleasant, easy to talk to and made sure we understood the situation. He was quick, efficient, and seemed very knowledgeable. We were and are very satisfied with his service. If / when we need plumbing services again we will definitely call Boldt. And yes, Logan left our home very clean.

I received a direct mail piece from these guys about a sale on upgrading my HVAC equipment  a while back. I figured yeah, typical stuff. I decided to call them just to check it out since I knew my system was almost 20 years old.

As soon as I met with them, I knew this was not your typical scam or budget company. These guys know their stuff. Wound up having a full system replaced. They were simply amazing. Top notch crew, all of which couldn't help telling you how much they loved their job, and their attention to detail really showed.

Then I met Corey, the owner, and I knew where these guys got their work ethic. He was not happy until I was totally satisfied. Changes to the system from things I hadn't thought about were never a problem.  The yearly maintenance plan sounded expensive at the time but the argument about protecting the investment  was sound.  Now I'm glad I did.

Here I am 5 years later. The system still performs like it did on day 1. Their people do preventive maintenance  twice a year (they call you to schedule the free service .. no hoping you forget stuff). Any issue is immediately corrected. They have 24/7 service which I've  had to use once. They were fast and less grumpy about being called in the middle of the night than I was!

There are not enough good things to say about these people. May not be a cheap budget outfit, but you truly get even more than you pay for with them.

Have had Metro Heating & Cooling service my current home and past home, as well as my clients homes for years.  Couldn't be happier with their service.  Rainy is the technician I've had the past 3 times I've called service and he's incredibly professional and explains everything thoroughly.

Prompt and friendly service, rapid response time, solved my issues without any nonsense. Great work.

We thought we had a water leak in our hot water heater (HWH) last Friday.  We checked into a few plumbers and decided to get a quote from Jake The Plumber.

I'd read, and discovered by phone message at the shop, that I could send messages and photos for a quick estimate for replacement if needed. I sent my info and photos of the HWH currently in my home.

Within eight minutes, Deb responded and asked for some more specific details.  After sending all my HWH details, she advised a plumber would contact me by phone with an estimate based on my HWH and needs.

That same afternoon, one of the plumbers called and left me a detailed message with an estimate and timeframe.  Jake the Plumber was very prompt and responsive to my inquiries.

Although we discovered we didn't have a leak (condensation due to extreme weather), we appreciated the prompt response from both Deb and the plumbers.  We would consider Jake for any plumbing needs in the future for sure!!

The WHOLE time, this plumber told me about how juicy his pear was. He told me it was ripe and other inappropriate things. It disgusted me and my 37 year old son who lives in my basement. He told me the plumber was fruity. I guess that explains why he likes pears. He left me in a state of confusion

Clint with True Blue Plumbing did a lot of work on my home when I moved in.  This included installing a new water softener, washer and dryer hookups, a new utility sink, a new hose hook up in the back yard, and a new kitchen sink.  

I was very impressed with the quality of the work for a reasonable price.  I wouldn't hesitate to use True Blue Plumbing again if I needed plumbing services.
