Best Commercial Services in Raleigh NC

I reviewed this company on May 25, 2023, shortly after the work was performed. My primary complaint was I felt the pricing of approximately $650 was out of line for 1-1/4 hours of work and less than $30 in materials.
On June  27 I received a call from my tenant the two sharp points of something had penetrated the wall in the bedroom adjacent to the bathroom where a technician from William Parrish Plumbing had replaced the tub faucet, shower head and water control valve which came in a kit by Delta. I provided the kit. Going to the rental house to determine what I needed to do and the cause of the problem I found the two screws the technician had used to secure the water valve to a 1x 4 were 3 in length and the sharp points had penetrated the wall in the adjoining bedroom. I removed them and installed two 2' screws which firmly held the valve in place.  The next step was to use joint compound to fill the two small holes and then repaint the entire wall.  I have never been happy with the outcome when I try to paint  small patches on walls that have been painted for 4 or 5 years.  One full day of work to keep my excellent tenant happy to live in the house she has been in for 5 years.  One day of work caused because the plumbing technician from William Parrish Plumbing decided to not walk to his truck to get the proper length of screws or possibly he did not have them and needed to make a trip to a near by ACE Hardware to buy two screws of the proper length or ask me if I had two he could use.

Our heat randomly stopped working at one of our rental properties so we reached out to Piedmont Metro for help! They had someone out the same day to not only diagnose but also fix the issue super quick! Very affordable & reliable! We'll definitely be using them again in the future!

Proflow was by far the best plumbing service I have ever used. They were extremely responsive to questions, kept me updated, and were flexible in working with my schedule. Also gave courtesy calls when they were heading my way and pulling in. They were of the utmost professionalism and it was a pleasure doing business with them. Highly recommended! Prices are extremely reasonable.

Very pleased with Bull City Plumbing. When my water heater went out they were quick to come out & take care of it. I found them to be very honest & upfront with me.

Ever single step and interaction with Legacy was textbook.  From initial contact via phone, getting an appointment, plumber calling while on the way (and on time), professional appearance, professional work van, professional attitude... to fixing my problem quickly and doing so for a very affordable and less than expected price.

I even tagged along with the plumber to observe and learn as he replaced a pressure reduction valve under my house.  He didn't mind, and was helpful in explaining what he did.

Why can't every business be like this?

Based on a recommendation by a property manager in North Raleigh, I called Cary Plumbing about a backed up drain shared by the washing machine and kitchen sink.  

In prior years, I'd had the same trouble with the same drain on at least three occasions, and each time the repair had been less than thorough.  

Richard, who came to repair the drain, was exceptionally courteous, calm and professional.  He completed the work in less than 2 hours, and after he explained to me what the problem had been and what he had done to resolve it, I'm encouraged to believe that I won't have more problems with that drain.  

Based on this experience, I highly recommend Cary Plumbing.

Fred was awesome. He fixed our sink, checked our water pressure and checked water heater. Only charged a minimum to do all this. We will be switching all of our maintenance to this company when our contracts are up.

Thank you to Juan and Unlimited Plumbing for replacing our water heater with less than 24 hours notice. Unlimited Plumbing was able to send Juan out same-day on a Monday. Maybe we just got lucky with the scheduling. Whatever the case, it worked out great for us.

I believe Unlimited's service area covers the entire Triangle. If I recall correctly, Juan said they used to be based in Raleigh, but are now located in Cary.

The last time I had a water heater replaced, it took two guys. Juan worked by himself and knew exactly what to do. Our old water heater had a leak and some mold growth on and around the drain pan. Juan cleaned everything up, applied moldicide (mold control spray or something), hauled away our old water heater and drain pan, and installed our new water heater and drain pan. He had to lug the water heaters up and down three flights of stairs. I also think he had to do quite a bit of custom pipe work, which took him a while (that was my experience in the past at a different property as well). He was on-site, back and forth between his vehicle, from roughly 1pm to 5pm, so it was about a four-hour job. I know it wasn't easy. Much respect to him.

Juan was friendly and professional. Our new water heater looks and works great. He made sure to test it before he left. So far, so good. Thanks again, Unlimited Plumbing.

Eddie is a great guy!  Very dependable and knowledgeable!  We were very fortunate that the morning we called he was able to come out that afternoon!  Fixed our outside faucet issue quickly and easily.  We would definitely recommend him and will use him again for our plumbing needs!  Thank you Eddie!!!

Our gas water heater was draining water through the T&P valve.  Technician from ARC assessed the problem and suggested that the Expansion tank *and* T&P valve needed to be replaced.  The parts & labor for replacing both items would cost $306.  Additionally, the technician told me that he didn't have an expansion tank in his truck and that they would have to order it which would take a few days.  Initially, I was disappointed that they didn't have expansion tank in stock.  So, I told the technician that I would get someone else to come and provide a quote for comparison.  

I reached out to another company whose technician came within the hour, assessed the problem within 5 mins and told me that it was going to cost $100 for replacing the expansion tank.  Also, I was told that the T&P valve was functioning properly and that there was no reason to replace it.  It took about 15 minutes for the entire job of replacing the tank and it costed me $100 flat.

Based on the above, I can say that ARC Plumbing is not trustworthy.  They're up-selling with HUGE markup.  

Would NOT recommend ARC Plumbing to anyone!

Was having trouble with my toilet not flushing properly and called Lane Plumbing. Spoke with Jimmy on the phone and he immediately scheduled an appointment and gave a price quote based on me explaining that I have a leak and also the toilet continuously flushes. The price was at least $250. On the day of my appointment, the problem was fixed by Jerry (after having to leave my home twice to go and purchase different supplies). Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the price. My total was $300...$150 for labor, $125 for parts plus tax). It turns out, there was no leak and the only things that were changed was a fill valve, fill valve flapper and new handle. After research, I realized that I could have purchased those items from Walmart or Lowe's myself for much less than $40!!!!!! But I was charged $125!!!!! I understand that they can charge what they want but this is pretty ridiculous! We were hustled, plain and simple....fool me once shame you, fool me twice shame on me!! My advice to everyone would be to check around and get quotes or find a trusted local handyman.

Chris came to my house yesterday to fix a leak.  He was on time and quickly identified the source. He fixed the problem and also gave me recommendations regarding general plumbing issues.  I would definitely use Bizzy Bee again!

If we can just snake it out and get the plastic piece out or broken up down a bigger part of the drain then it will be this price.
To replace the drain piece on the tub will be 175 more if we don't have to chip out concrete and that includes a waste an overflow chrome trim, push pull style.

this is what they quoted me for a very simple fix that another plumber came from over an hour away to fix for just 80$ just want everyone to know i wouldn't call these guys for anything. the only mo' flow there is your money flowing into their pockets!!  check out H20 pro plumbing instead

Whew, this is ridiculous...

Poole's Plumbing versus a local (and quite talented) handyman proved to be beyond my expectations.  Poole's sardonic, rude and nasty scheduler quoted me $1,600 to install a garbage disposal (into a brand new construction).  I balked at such a ridiculous price and hung up!!!!  I hope I just caught her on a bad day because I can't imagine living her life.

I hired a local handyman and paid $850 and ALSO got five faucets reinstalled, an exterior camera seamlessly  installed 12 feet up as well as three speciality mirrors from Canada wired in and hung.

Hire a local, independent handyman and you'll be in such better shape.

I can only imagine that Poole's would have charged $4,000 for the garbage disposal and five faucets.  So, absolutely do not hire Poole's because they're charging outrageous prices for average services.  Think of unscrupulous businesses that appear on undercover investigations for ripping people off.

Oh, and if you're going to rip off customers, hire a pleasant telephone person... You'll be able to scam more victims, Poole's Plumbing.

Bleh.

DO.NOT.USE.  After waiting for them all afternoon on a weekend, for an emergency appointment that had been scheduled in the morning, they finally called and said they weren't coming. DO NOT USE!!!
