Best Electrical Services in Pittsburgh PA
Let me first say both Andrew and Christopher were extremely professional. Coming from California, I was extremely impressed with both of the men's presentation and integrity. I had a wonderful experience with Andrew who had extreme attention to detail. I had a lot of small detailed work on floor and trim that needed finished. Previous contractor was sloppy. I couldn't be more happy with the job and how easy he was to work with. Andrew allowed me to walk him through the house as he completed each task, he worked very well with me and displayed nothing but respect and eagerness for my satisfaction. Christopher was doing the electrical work and also displayed attention to detail reviewing carefully each project to make sure it was completed efficiently. I actually kept both guys 3 hours longer because the original company who was to hang outdoor lighting never showed. These guys stayed and Christopher completed all of my outdoor lighting and other indoor lighting. If you want efficient work done in a timely manner this is your handyman service.

I've had this man clean my gutters twice. Very professional. I will call him when I need something done again. Clean vehicle, clean appearance. Doesn't talk down to women.

I never post negative comments but I feel very strongly about the dishonest and non-professional service that I received from this company. I felt it my responsibility to inform the public. My home warranty company American Home Shield chose J&A South Park Heating, Cooling, & Plumbing to repair my hot water tank. The tank was still under warranty.
The technician arrived with No Tools and a Clip Board to write down a list of items that weren't covered by my home warranty or the $75.00 service fee.
I was immediately given this list of items totaling approximately $600.00 that were not covered under the $75.00 service call fee.
1. I was told my water pressure was too high and I needed a water pressure valve.
*Three other plumbers checked the pressure and it was fine. And in fact if the valve was installed my pressure would be too low!
2. I was told that a permit was needed to replace my hot water tank. All the other plumbers thought that this too was a joke!
3. I was told that Modifications were needed to remove the old tank and replace it with exact same tank. On this one the Hometown Rooters plumber just scratched his head! He took out the old tank, installed the new one in the same spot without any modifications! I was told by the technician that he would do me a favor and pull the tag off of the tank so that this information making it too difficult verify that it was still under warranty. By pulling the tag he could just bring me a new tank. Fortunately I took a photo of the tag.
* Hometown Rooter Plumbing the original installers arrived with a new tank, replaced it without any modifications, permits or upgrades for CODE VIOLATION. They also waived the $75.00 service fee because my hot water tank was still under warranty!
I have requested that American Home Shield never send J&A South Park to my home ever again!
I also feel that they should be reported to the Pennsylvania Plumbers Licensure Board for their unlawful practices.

DO NOT Work With This Company
They show up late to appointments without telling you when they will arrive. They call late in the day and then want to charge for showing up after dark when work can't be done. Hidden charges they request even when work has not been done. No professional behavior by plumbers or service office reps. Outrageous pricing!!

My AC broke and a technician from beverly heating and cooling came to repair it on July 29, 2016. One week later, on August 6, 2016, there was a flame in my garage while the garage door was closing and the AC stopped working. I called beverly heating and cooling and asked them to come repair it. I was willing to pay again my home warranty deductible even if the AC had broken only within a week of it being repaired. Because it was saturday, I talked with an answering service. the operator was very rude, raised her voice a few times and even hang the phone on me. This was operator number 2 but she refused to give me her name. A technician called me later, using an unknown number (I could not identify the number in my phone, because he hid it voluntarily). He did not want to come fix it because he said home warranty does not cover calls on the weekends. I was very concerned because the flame in my garage could have started a fire. The technician got my home warranty information and, at 4.36pm,said he would call me back. They never called me back until 2 days later, August 8 at 12.08 pm. A technician from a different company came to fix the AC. He found a wire that was not properly attached to the wall and that had been cut by the garage door while it was closing. This is why there was a flame when the wire got cut. The flame could have started a fire.

Adam Mondine of Modine Plumbing & Construction is FRAUDULET! He asked for a $150 retainer for Tiling my shower. He declined to do the work and promised to refund my money. Over the last 6 week I have asked Adam for the refund and he promised he would. He has lots of excuses of why he could not!
Not a Man of his Word. Please stay away from him. 6 weeks of his excuses are enough!

This company was terrible to deal with. They said they would be there before 1400. 1400 came and went and there was no technician. 1600 came and went and no technician. While I am on my way to teach my class at 1800 they call and say a technician would be there in 45 minutes.
Fortunately someone else was able to deal with them when they showed up. They wanted to charge $579 partially because of the conditions being dark and rainy. It was not dark and raining prior to 1400.
When this was disputed they tried to work something out and changed the quote $454.
They were told to pack sand and still asked for the site fee. This was accompanied by a document that they asked to be signed. The document actually was an agreement to pay for and for them to do the work quoted above. The fee was paid by check, no document was signed.
Should have looked them up here first. Terrible company to do business with. I don't know how they manage to not have a tech available. I can't imagine almost anyone does business with them.
