I hired Bob and his team to install an aerial rig point in my house. I am an aerialist, and I wanted to be able to practice my art at home. When I first started looking around for a contractor to do the job, I quickly realized that most contractors would raise an eyebrow and tell me they didn't even know what I was talking about, let alone how to get it done. Bob was not like the others! Rather than shying away from the challenge of the unfamiliar, he met with me in person and we thoroughly went over my needs. He asked the hard questions, and made it clear that his upmost concern was my safety. He put a lot of thought into the mechanics of my rig point (which for safety needs to be able to support 2,500 lbs dead weight!), and devised a very safe and sturdy apparatus. I am very happy with Bob's work and with my new rig point! Also, bob and his team were incredibly nice, friendly, and clean. They swept up after themselves before they left, and bob checked in with me the next day to make sure my apparatus was working well. With Bob's permission, I am definitely going to refer my aerialist friends to him! He understands the safety needs of an aerialist, and does a fantastic job. I am so grateful to have found a contractor who not only wasn't afraid of a different type of project, but who dove in and completed the project to the highest of standards. I highly recommend using Bob for any of your contracting needs!!

I had a noisy A/C unit and came to Yelp to search around. After reading a bunch of positive reviews I figured I'd give them a try. As a friend was driving me to pick up my motorcycle one of their vans pulled up next to us. I asked the driver to roll down his window, which he did, and I asked him about their schedule. Since it's now summer in AZ and approaching 115° I figured they'd be busy, and since my A/C was still functional that was ok. He was very pleasant and friendly even though I basically just knocked on his window for advice. After I got home I called Dukes of Air and the lady that answered the phone (sorry, can't recall her name) was very pleasant as well. I explained the situation and she asked if anyone would be home around 3:30pm (this was around 11:30am). I was caught off guard because I was expecting next week. I work from home so I said sure! At around 3:00 Robert called and said he was 20 minutes out, and sure enough... 20 minutes later he was here. He went out back and took the A/C unit apart while listening to my explanation of the problem. He immediately identified what the problem was and that I could fix it myself for significantly less that what they would charge (is was a simple issue). I fix things for a living, but given my time constraints I just let him do the repair. Afterwards, he proceeded to tell me how to modify things for improving the life of the compressor and even put the unit up on rubber blocks to isolate the noise. Bottom line: Robert went way above and beyond the normal in & out mentality of repairs and customer service today. He was friendly, personable, knowledgeable, social, professional, detail-oriented and efficient. All the attributes I look for in LIFE! Dukes of Air will always get my business and referrals (2 already). GFI... you will not be disappointed!

The heating unit that was installed by Y P &H  4 1/2 years ago started acting weird.  They sent JOSE GOMEZ out to check.  After checking everything on heater and it was good, he checkeD thermostat.  It was bad.  Looking  at warranty  of 5 years still  had time so he called manufacture Honeywell and arranged a replacement for free.  He also drove across town to pick it up anD then came back to install.  None of that was his job,  but h wanTed to make sure we had heat and were satisfied with his service.  Thank you Jose!  I will ask for you by name next time!  M. Really love these guys, always professional and very friendly. Michael came out very late in the evening and made sure we were all taken care of: double clogged toilets with two young boys in the house is not a fun time, we couldn't ask for a more speedy and friendly guy to come into our home and help us out. The professionalism is really very outstanding starting from the initial call to Chris Roberts to the scheduling and help from Michael. I will def be referring this company to everyone. Very affordably priced as well.
