Best Door Installation in Milwaukee WI

I had Martin over the first time to level out my backyard to install a pool.  I had recently broke my ankle and wasn't able to do much on my own. He helped me with so many other things while he was here; it was unbelievably helpful. Cleaned gutters, fixed a gate- and he ended up assembling and putting up the pool for me!
Fast forward 8 months -ankle still broke - I want to install a dog door for my upcoming surgery. He suggested a door, came out, installed it, and even followed up a few times to see how the dogs were liking it.
He's very reliable, cleans up after himself, and charges reasonable rates.
Bonus- he listens to good music while he works!

Courteous and competent. Very happy with the service provided, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

2nd Update: more than a week later and still no return phone call. They have my money and obviuy that was their one y concern.  This shows they absolutely do not care about their customer's experience OR their employee's conduct.

UPDATE: I called them before posting this.  They still have not called back. We will not be using them ever again.

Doug from Roman electric came to our home today. He was very condescending, rude and extremely unpleasant to do business with. He fixed our problem, but I can't recommend them based on how poorly we were treated.

One guy service did work on my garage in November 2021 insulation Sheetrock and sanding he did a terrible job and I paid him in full $1300. He told me he will come back to finish the job never showed up
he told me he has 20 years experience a person with 20 years of experience does not  do unprofessional work I am attaching pictures of the garage he worked on extremely unprofessional job.

I have some solid wood doors on a track in between my kitchen and family room. The track got bent up and Mike came over and took everything apart and installed a new track. I have to say he did a much better job than the people who originally put up the doors for me. He made sure the wheel would not run off the back of the track and he also installed stoppers. Mike was very professional and did a fantastic job. I will be using Mike as my handyman from here on out. Thank You :-)

Donn and Melissa kindly stepped in to help when the painter who SAID he did wood repair suddenly said he DIDN'T. They came over same day to look at and estimate the wood repair job, then rearranged their schedule a bit so the repair could be finished before the painters started. The estimate was detailed, itemized and included the products used on my home. Since wood is expensive right now, I got two bids. The other only came in $100 less and the individual was not nearly as personable or detailed as BV Handyman. I was unexpectedly called away to an out-of-town funeral and I was completely comfortable having Donn and Melissa do the work in my absence. Their communication through texting and pictures was excellent. They were respectful of my tenant. My boyfriend stopped by to check on the job and said everything was going great. Bottom line: Excellent work. Excellent customer service. Kind people. I will call them first next time!

Hired Brandon off of Facebook to install a privacy Trellis. His initial response was great and he genuinely seems like a good guy. He was on time for the install, and showed back up the next day to finish the job. Everything looked great so I paid him in full. The next day, I noticed both of my post caps were blown off. He never glued them on with liquid nails, just set them on top loosely. There is even a paper on the inside of the caps stating to use liquid adhesive. Regardless, this was an easy fix so I just glued it on.

A couple days later, we had 15-20 mph wind. This light wind knocked the entire trellis/lattice part out from between the posts. He literally installed the trellis, and didn't nail or adhere the top track for the lattice. I reached out to him to have him fix this. He agreed and told me he would be back the next day. He no showed so I messaged the next day. He said his helper will come and fix it, but he no showed as well. Finally after doing that a few times, Brandon finally stepped up and came back to fix it.

All was well for a couple days and the trellis again just fell out. No wind or anything, it is just the trellis lattice was cut too short so it just pops out of the track. I again reached out to Brandon. He said he would be out the next day, To cut the story short, he no showed like 5x and now doesn't respond to messages. I have messaged everyday asking for a time and date to correct this project. I also offered to pay additional money to replace the lattice with wood. I even asked if he will not fix it, to please refund 60 dollars of the total I paid so I could hire someone else. This was only after several no shows. He has just ignored me now and always has an excuse.

I never knew this guy did plumbing, I would steer clear of him. If he can't build a simple trellis without standing behind his work, I would be terrified if he did any plumbing for me. Google this company and you can see he has multiple quality issues with his work and will not correct it for many much higher cost projects.

The only reason I am writing this review is because I reached out to John without getting a response. In September I paid John $175.00 to weatherize my windows, he went around with a caulk gun and put caulk around my windows. Not knowing if that was what weatherization is I paid the man. Fast forward, all my windows still have the same draft coming in that it had the previous year. I texted the numbers I used prior to the so call work being completed, to let him know I still have a draft. No one has tried to respond to my concerns. I will tell everyone do not use Handyman John!!!
