Best Water Softener Repair in Milwaukee WI
I read numerous positive reviews on Thumbtack regarding water softener repairs by this outfit, and I'm VERY pleased to say Waterfoul Plumbing did not disappoint! Corey was very professional, very courteous, and corrected our issue. Because our softener is 20+ years old, I figured we would have to purchase a new one, however, Corey indicated the unit was fine but just needed a new part. He corrected our issue within an hour. He's also very reasonable in terms of price. Waterfoul is now our go-to for all of our plumbing needs. Thanks, Corey!

Very professional, clean, and quick, no hidden charges, same day service, reasonable rates, honest opinion and offered suggestions on how to save costs. He had all necessary materials with him. I would highly recommend his service especially in an emergency.

Chris Urban is a master plumber. We have used Chris Urban twice now. I can handle most things around the house and I have attempted most things such as installed faucets, installed water filtration systems, water to ice maker and installed new water softener but occasionally come across things I just don't want to do/attempt or can't figure out. First visit was for a leak that I wasn't able to get to and diagnose so my wife had him over based on Yelp reviews. Chris diagnosed the issue and quickly resolved it. The next visit was a few days ago for an issue with our water heater and backdrafting. WE Energy just installed a new gas meter and while checking for leaks in the house he said the water heater wasn't exhausting properly. We had our HVAC (recently installed a new furnace) come out to see if they did something to change the exhaust that may have caused this issue. Nope, recommend calling a plumber as water heater is not HVAC issue. I called Chris and immediately he rerouted to our house as he was on his way to another job to assess the issue. Wow, I couldn't ask for more! He looked at it all and said there isn't any issue that WE Energy didn't know what they were talking about. Chris could have sold me on X, Y or Z issue and I wouldn't have known. So honesty is a strong trait with Urban's Plumbing. He didn't charge for the visit and explained what could have been the issue. Thanks Chris! I wouldn't hesitate to call Chris to do any job now and most likely will instead of me stumbling through plumbing work that I have no idea! If you are looking for a plumber, give Urban's Plumbing a call. I have him booked marked.

Great experience. Called about my water heater that broke down suddenly and they called me back first thing upon opening. Although the service call was pricey and I went with a competitor to diagnose whether my water heater was fixable, I went back to Cox for the actual replacement. The savings over the competitor's price was significant and they replaced my Rheem with the same brand unit. The quote from the receptionist was spot on, no hidden fees and she was super friendly. The only challenge was the wait time on an item not in stock but they were able to get it overnight and rearranged their schedule to get me in first appointment on Monday. Going without hot water over the weekend was worth the wait. The savings was a couple hundred short of a grand! Plus Ray was efficient and did great work.

Everything was great except the inability to tell the exterior temperature. Their sign incorrectly stated - dare I say LIED - that it was only 13* F. In reality, as confirmed by Getman engineering, it was actually 16* F. This goes hand-in-hand with the medias inability to fact check. Clearly fake news. We are simply left guessing the company's ulterior motive. Furthermore, Bigfoot was in the parking lot.

I'm pretty good with tools and have installed one water heater before. For me the whole job turned into a total nightmare. After been without hot water for an embarrassing length of time I gave up and called this 100 year old company. The technician named Rod came in and the job was completed in record time. Rod was not only very knowledgeable but also gave a detail explaination of the problem. The bill was very responsible. Any plumbing problem I have in the future is now a no brainer who to call. I give my best recommendation to Borkenhagen Plumbing & Heating. Thanks Rod!

Sort of an old fashioned business (paper invoices mailed to you), but Rick and his son did an excellent job for the work I needed done and the prices quoted were less than everyone else.

Tosa Plumbing came to our home twice based on a referral from HMS Home Warranty. We had just purchased the home and had problems with water from the shower leaking into the basement.
John and crew came out the day we called and fixed what they thought to be the problem. They came out the following day because, after the repair, we had more water in our basement than ever before. This time they correctly diagnosed the problem and told us it probably wasn't covered by the home warranty.
I don't take issue with the work performed, but I do have a problem with the lack of follow up. I have requested an invoice three times and never received one. I also requested notes of what was observed and what was repaired - crickets. No response. None. I understand that they probably don't get paid top dollar for the home warranty work, but I'm still a potential future customer with money to spend. Correction: I WAS a future, potential customer.

Needed my hot tub repaired. Tech was very polite and solved the problem. The problem is when I got the bill they overcharged me 1 hour in tech time. I have video proof of when the tech arrived and left, but they refused to adjust their bill. Additionally, the repair part is available from multiple sources on the Internet for $170, but they charged me $218, a 28% markup. I will find a different plumber for future work.

With the exception of their receptionist Lindsey, the younger guy was always great. But they completely lost my business. When you call, she seems busy and inconvenienced. Im pretty sure she just throws out any time frame and hopes it works out thats when the guys will be there. Last time they showed up after my time frame so I was sitting around waiting on them. This time they were suppose to come between 9-11. At 11:30 she calls to say they are on there way. At 1:30 I call to ask what's going on and she says she will see where they are. I had to cancel because I couldn't take anymore time off. It's a little ridiculous that they would have there costumer waiting around all day for them not to show up. Even if they were behind in there last job, she could have easily called to say they were running behind. Dont tell me they don't know they are 2-3-4 hours behind! I stayed home now for 4 hours that I could have been working, so I lost out on that and still don't have my line looked at. Word of mouth is very important when it comes to getting costumers, and new jobs, and I can't even recommend them at all anymore. Don't waste your time.

We needed a water heater replaced this week. McCoy Plumbing saved us more than $250 (less) than we were quoted by the place we bought the heater from. We will not hesitate to use them again and will recommend them to anyone who asks if we know of a good plumber!

I called this afternoon because we just purchased a home 2 weeks ago and today our toilet was leaking out and running constantly (numerous times in a minute). I explained that we need a toilet on the main level because my mom has stage 4 cancer and is unable to walk the stairs continuously to get to the bathroom on the second floor. The woman on the phone told me the soonest they could send someone out is Thursday, but if I wanted to pay $175 (not including the fix) they could get someone to us this afternoon. I hung up and contacted Knight Plumbing who was able to get here in under an hour and charged the same thing for the whole fix. I've lived in Oak Creek most of my life and like to use local companies but I'll never even attempt to use Oak Creek Plumbing again.

I had Wilkes come out in via my home warranty service to take a look at my Jacuzzi tub that was randomly turning on by itself. They came when my parents were there and left without a comment and so I assumed it was fixed.
After a week it came back on again and I had to follow up with Wilkes where they said they had to come back out since they couldn't get to it directly and had to go through the basement ceiling. They came back out again, charged me more money for the 2nd trip, and said it was fixed. Side note, they had to call a third party Jacuzzi service for advice on how to fix it.
A few months later the same problem started again and I called them to see if they would come out and fix it but to my surprise said that because it has been over 60 days, that I'd have to either make another claim with the home warranty service or hire them direct at $60 per trip + $110 per hour. They do not do a quality job to start or on the 2nd time around nor do they warranty their work more than 60 days so I would definitely not recommend this company.
