We have the service plan through Hay's and have been happy with it.  Note, try not to have your summer service hit in July.  We have been rescheduled for our biannual service several times due to summer ac emergencies.  Well today we were the emergency.  I had no issues calling for the repair on a Sunday.  We had a 4-6 pm window for or tech and they called to see if we could move that up to 2, no problem.  Idéal came out in the extreme heat and had us up and running.  My upstairs was cooled down in time for bed.

Diamondback Air is quick to sell you a brand new system, but to get them out to repair it is another story.  Excuses galore, never on time, you are expected to wait for them regardless of what time they show, and instead of phone calls, text messages!  Very and totally unprofessional!  Do not use these guys, as its a total frustrating experience.  They have honored their warranty thus far, but be advised, warranty work is their very last priority.  Our system, a Goodman DSXC 16, a 4ton split system with gas heater was installed last year after I was told our 7 year old Trane was not worth fixing.  I knew with R22 becoming more expensive and going away in 2020, it was a pay me now or later thing.  Incidentally, quote for a new compressor, labor only as compressor would be under warranty from Trane was $3,000.00.  Very high price I found out later.  No a/c, we were hot etc, I made a terrible decision to replace and use these guys to do it!  Real quick to install I must say, but I also paid $7,001.64, and they never waited on me for payment, they had their money before install was complete!  Last Friday, after a power outage, this new system went out.  Over the phone with the owner he talked me through replacing fuses, pulling a capacitor, testing capacitor, replacing capacitor etc only to diagnose a circuit board as the problem.  Was told they would be out Sunday or Monday morning at the latest that's a quote from the owner John.  Never showed until after 6 pm Monday, Chris replaced the capacitor, and circuit board on the condenser unit, also a fuse on the air handler.  System came on, Chris left.  2 hours later, system stopped cooling, back to our 100 sq ft spare room with a cheap 5000 btu window unit that's 7 years old, cost 85 bucks and blows cold.  Spend 7 grand and don't even get a year of cold out of it.  Ironic.  Called again, was told Chris would be out Tuesday, no show, was told he'd be out Wednesday, on his way, be there soon, etc etc etc.  told he was involved in an accident, would be first priority Thursday morning, be there by 9am, no show no call so unprofessional.  He finally showed Thursday evening.  Replaced thermostat, system on.  3 1/2 hours later, quit working again!  Chris had to call Goodman to figure it out.  1600 share foot house, me my wife and 2 large dogs are in 100 square foot bedroom now for 1 week!  Friday told another circuit board for the air handler heater unit inside was ordered, he would be here between 12 and 3 to fix it, was called by Chris at 1:30, part not there but on the way, he would call when he left, nothing until 830pm when he said he would be at my house by 8 am Sunday.  My wife waited all day Saturday for no reason, could've gone to the valley to get away from our hot house, she's upset now.  He finally showed up at 3 pm Sunday system on at 355pm and hasn't stopped yet!  I believe it's been a thermostat problem from the get go, but I'm not comfortable and confident in this system.  All this deception, lack of communication to their customers is a direct reflection on the owner John.  Too late for me, but read all the reviews on these guys, there's a few good ones, but for the most part mostly bad and mostly because of their promptness.  If you say you're gonna be there, you better be there!  If a customer isn't home, you will leave.

I recently had Arizona's Dukes of Air replace two AC units at my home. I had chosen another Company in the Valley before meeting with Dukes of Air. The day of the scheduled install with the other company turned into chaos when the crew arrived but could not proceed with the install as I was quoted the wrong type of equipment needed for my foam insulated attic. Long story short, I ended up cancelling with this other company and looking elsewhere. I had waited over 2 weeks for the install without a functioning unit so I was left to scramble and start the process all over again of finding the right company. Luckily for me, the very first company I contacted following this fiasco was Dukes and they immediately scheduled me for the next day to get a quote. The next day, Jerry showed up to my home exactly at the time I was told he would. I knew once Jerry was at my home this was the right company. All communication leading up to the install was remarkable. The day of the install a huge crew showed up right on time. Everyone was very professional, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. Amazing attention to detail from a very hardworking group of technicians. All follow-up communication has been remarkable as well. The end was everything and more I hoped for. While they were not the cheapest price-wise, the cost is worth it in the end. Everyone at this company, from the person answering the phone to the field technicians, care and work hard to fully satisfy their customers. I recommend Arizona's Dukes of Air to anyone without reservation. Thank you all!

Farnsworth only got 1 stars and that's tfrom me because I was second on the list today to get my ac looked at. Chris had to go to Casa Grande first thing this morning then he was coming to me and he didn't even call or come by. This is not good business!  He promised he was coming by to look at my problem.  Well I gave them a chance, now it's time to move on to another company that knows how to treat its customers. Update:  Chris came out Tuesday and helped me hopefully get things straightened out.  I'm putting in one of those real cheap filters.

Update:  I received a call from Jennifer at Goettl. I felt that she listened to what I had to say and  was genuinely concerned about my experience.   I understand sometimes things happen (busy schedules, new staff etc) and service is not what they would like it to be.  I really appreciate when I feel heard and my concern is addressed.   I  will continue to do business with Goettl.

I have tried to call into Goettl to speak to a management level individual because my concern is not Supervisory level.  I was unable to find information on their website to submit a concern norwould they transfer me to management.

I had an appointment today and a scheduling conflict came up.  I called at 8:50 am to let them know and see if they  ould accommodate my request.  I spoke to an individual at the call center and the result if the call was to keep me on the schedule for an agreed upon window of time that was within the original 8 am to 11 am time period.

I received a call at 8:59 am from Goettl Dispatch that a tech was on the way. When I asked about what time she said 10 am.  I let her know that I just spoke to someone to adjust the time to 11 am. She said, I don't know who you talked with but I am in dispatch and looking at the schedule and and I can tell you that is not going to happen.  She went on to explain their business process etc which 8n the moment was not all that helpful.  It felt similar to when someone says it's policy.  

I ended up rescheduling a month out after already waiting a month for this appointment.

I got stuck between two departments who are not sharing the same network to service customers OR, once Dispatch saw the notes they said no way and called me.  I would have understood if the Dispatcher just acknowledged the over site of the other department instead of speaking disparagingly.

Their marketing is fantastic but their practices do not match.
