My experience with this company was a home run from the start. I needed a gas line installed in my kitchen. I have been calling plumbers for a week and each one either sounded annoyed or bothered that I contacted them. When I called The Cooling & Plumbing Co. the owner answers the phone and he sounds excited that you called. He quickly answered all my questions and booked an appointment with me that week. On the day of the project, they not only showed up on time, they were early. The work was done quickly and the two guys who did the installation were friendly, made no mess and completed the job quickly. Fair prices and stellar work. They will be the only company I call in the future.

These guys are great! Quick response and great customer service. They extended our gas line to our fire pit in our backyard and installed the fire ring. Double checked/tested everything. Definitely recommend!

Seriously Jay from The Cooling and Plumbing Company went above and beyond ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE individual I've ever worked with!!! My husband came home to find our non-working air conditioner!!! It's so hot out we knew we needed it fix ASAP but NO ONE we spoke to could help us u till we called Jay at The Cooling and Plumbing!!! He came RIGHT out and fixed the problem THAT NIGHT!!! Jay and his crew are extremely professional and do exactly what they say they will do. Got our new AC installed and started to notice the declining utilities bills the very next month. Our unit purrs like a kitten and has all the bells and whistles but at a very reasonable price. Clean, fast, and professional. When it comes to plumbing companies that is something that is never at the forefront. Its usually late, unprofessional, and messy so I can appreciate the customer service from Jay and his team. I had some quotes on work from a few other companies but was not happy with the price I was receiving. I researched around a bit more and came across this outfit right here on Yelp. By using The Cooling and Plumbing Co I saved almost $400 from the next least expensive quote I entertained. Jimbo and team arrived onsite at the time I was promised and were out the door within 2 hours. I had a few other items that were not included in the quote that were repaired free of charge. That is some serious A+ BBB status right there.

I've been using this company for years now on both mine and my mom's house. They just got done replacing the A/C system on my mom's house today. As always the service was beyond amazing and faster than I expected. The installers, Patrick, And of course Jay where professional and courteous. They made this huge task painless. I actually was glad to cut that check knowing that I won't have any problems for years to come.

I hired Penguin to come and service my three air conditioners.  Matthew was the person they sent.  I got a call (after putting in request on the web) and after I got an email with the time he should be arriving.  Matt also called me so I could let him into my building.  I also got a message when Matt was soon arriving telling me who was arriving, his picture and a short profile.  It was great to know and see who would be arriving.  Matt did a great job of looking and servicing my three air conditioners which had never been serviced since it was installed.  He went over everything about the a/c's and I agreed that they needed to be fixed up the way he described.  The next morning he was over and did all the updates that were necessary for these a/c's.  Matt was very personable and friendly and very knowledgeable.  Thank you Penguin for having such great people in your business!!!

I had used another plumbing company that broke my RO system and replaced it with one that couldn't even fill a 32 ounce bottle. The other plumber wouldn't respond to me and I was without a RO system for about 1 1/2 months. I looked on the Nextdoor app  and found this company. I left a message for someone to call me back and was so impressed since Jay called me right away. He was easy to talk to and I was able to explain what was going on with no problem. He scheduled an appointment for me and asked me to send him some pictures of the RO that had just been installed. Again, he responded immediately and let me know what kind of RO systems they offered. He was very informative and knowledgeable about my options and I was able to make a decision that I was comfortable with as to which to I wanted. I received a text stating that they were on their way exactly like they said they would. The person who installed our RO did a fantastic job! He was so professional and the entire experience from beginning to end couldn't have been better!! I look forward to working with them whenever I have an AC or plumbing problem...hopefully not too soon though;)

I have nothing but great things to say about Jay and his team. We recently moved into a home in Phoenix and used Jay for a new water softener install as well as adding a gas line to convert our old electric oven range to a new gas one, as well as a gas line to our backyard for our future pool, spa, firepit & BBQ.

We had 2 other companies other than Jay's to come out to bid us for everything. Jay was not only the most reasonably priced, he actually took the time to explain to me everything in detail, what to do/not to do, was super professional and very friendly. I first used the Cooling & Plumbing company for a gas line that I needed installed for a stove. They charged a flat rate for the install and came out pretty quickly to install it, while they were here they also fixed my bathroom fan motor just because it looked like it was installed incorrectly free of charge.

They have great customer service and take pride in what they do which shows. I have used them on several occasions since, Jay and his employees always do great work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will be using them in the future for any cooling and plumbing needs.

I was so happy to find Jay of The Cooling & Plumbing.Co. I had just moved to Scottsdale and  I was having an issue with my ice maker water supply. I had  2 previous plumbers take a look and could not solve the problem.  When I spoke to Jay he assured me that he will solve the problem.  And he did. His workers Nick and Pat arrived on time and completed the work. I am very pleased and will not hesitate to call again for any issue. It was like a trippy flashback to the Katy Perry concert I never went to, I was hot and now I'm cold and it's all thanks to The Cooling & Plumbing Co.

The crew came out to assess my AC problem and the prognosis was to repair a leak on a 16yr old system at roughly half the cost of a new one or to replace. After weighing my options, getting a few price quotes from competing businesses, I opted for total replacement. I didn't want to end up with a fully functioning 16 year old AC, when a new one was within within a reasonable cost difference and I wouldn't have to worry about more major repairs within the upcoming couple of years.

I made the decision to replace and they were out within a couple of business days craning a new AC unit to the third floor roof of my condo in central phoenix, installing a new air handler, blower and connecting everything together. There were a few hiccups along the way during installation, mostly due to the old design of the system they were replacing was reversed from the current design, the installers ended up taking the fan, coils and wiring out of the new air handler housing and retro fitting them to fit into the old space. It was a tight fit and the alternative was cutting into beams and a bunch of extra repair work.

After installation of the new unit, there were more issues with my thermostat, it just did not want to work with the new AC, after a couple hours of testing, rewiring, retesting, rinse and repeat, we put a new thermostat,  my AC was up, running and blowing cold air once again.

After enjoying cold air once again for a few days, I had a complaint at just how loud the new fan was. I called them up once again and they were back out to tune down the speed of my fan, it's sound level is now back to about what the old one was.

I can't believe at just how much time and effort this AC unit took them, over all I am happy with the service they provided on top of the new AC unit I am now enjoying on a daily basis!

We recently underwent an extensive kitchen remodel and were looking for someone we could trust to sell and install a massive propane tank and all the plumbing. It seemed like it would be a challenging job and the tank placement would be tricky. This was a huge project and I would accept nothing but the best, so I set out to find the best in their field and interviewed 5 companies with top ratings. After finding J on Yelp with his fantastic reviews I called and setup an appointment. J showed up on time, provided a wealth of knowledge around complex installations and permits, and worked with me at length to brainstorm the best way to attack the job. He did some research, found exactly what we needed, lined everything up and communicated with me exactly when he said he would. He and his team also showed up exactly when they said they would. This is practically unheard of with most contractors. I found J and Patrick to be more like partners than contractors; rare and fantastic. We ran into some challenges on the project, not with J's portion, but with the range and then with the company that filled the propane. In both instances J not only advised me on direction and put my mind at ease, he jumped in to assist personally to ensure we were taken care of and the project continued on it's way.

Honestly, we could not have asked for plumbing partners (both J and Patrick) who genuinely cared more, were more dedicated to our success, communicated better, showed up when they said they would (even well after normal business hours) and followed through with professionalism, expertise and dedication.

In every case going forward, I will call J first. Unequivocally. My recommendation is that you do too. What's the worst that could happen? The best that could happen is you find a plumbing partner forever. I did.

Wow!!  Why did I wait so long to get a gas outlet installed behind my stove?  The Cooling & Plumbing Co came highly recommended by my community members on Nextdoor--And I join them with the highest recommendation!  When I talked to Jay Monday a little over a week ago, he explained the process wasn't near as complex as I expected and the cost was no where near the high cost I expected.  They are licensed and certified to do gas lines and are used by appliance dealers in our area.  We set an appointment for today (a week later).  His guys--Jimbo and Bobby--showed up on time, were very professional, explained what they were going to do and went about doing it.  Start-to-finish in just about two hours!  Cost--REASONABLE.  The small cutout in the drywall is no problem as they recommended a drywall guy who can match whatever texture pattern exists.  Glad I found The Cooling & Plumbing Co and will gladly recommend them to neighbors and family.  Good job Jimbo & Bobby.

Excellent work by the whole team! I wanted to have a gas line plumbed from my attic to my kitchen and a new dual fuel range installed. Jay was able to give me a quick, accurate, quote over the phone and we started the work just a couple of days later. The communication was great, the install was seamless, the pricing very competitive, and the service was superb! They even came back promptly (on a Saturday) to help me troubleshoot my hot water heater as the pilot light went out as a result of the install. A class company. Highly recommended.

OUTSTANDING, AMAZING! I'm not one to write reviews as I have much better things to do with my time. However, when i do feel the need to share, good or bad, it's because I was either extremely satisfied or vice versa. Keep in mind that I am coming off of an extremely bad experience with my pool contractor (who will also get a review from me) so I already was not expecting much and was bitter. But WOW, Jay and his crew were pleasant, explained everything in detail, price was competitive and communicated very well. It was very refreshing  to deal with someone friendly, helpful and not looking to gouge my wallet. I am a loyal person when it comes to finding someone honest and easy to deal with so needless to say I have found a plumbing and HVAC company that I will never have the need to shop ever again. We have used the cooling and heating company for several issues. They have replaced toilets, kitchen sink, garbage disposal and helped us clear drains. Also replaced thermostat. We have been completely satisfied. Clean, friendly,  and professional. Fair and honest pricing. Recommend highly!

These guys are BUSY, and rightfully so.  Unluckily for me and my tenants, the sites they've worked on had issues at inopportune times. Luckily for me, they've been willing to take care of our issues despite their backlog of work.

Professional - They tell me when it'll be installed and by what time, and BAM - it's done

Product breadth - He offers me different systems with different costs and tells me why each one is better than the other to help me decide which one is best. WHAM - it's under budget.

Smell good and don't see their butt cracks - Sorry, I've never been there when they've done the work so I can't vouch for that...... (Facepalm)

Buying an AC is NOT as personal of a decision as say a car is. Finding the right people who will be coming into your house again in the future is a personal decision. Finding someone who you know will continue to be there when you need them so you don't have to go looking for a new guy every time is priceless. How often is the same car salesman available for you 15 years later? These guys will be around because they're that GOOD.

Personally, I will use Jay and The Cooling and Plumbing Co anytime I need them. I wish he would have teams in CA and NV, too!

I've known Jay for a very long time and I've always been able to rely on his services. He's honest, dependable, and does a great job. Recently, I had the pleasure of using Jay's 24 hour service. I came home at 12:30 am on a Sunday to a leaking hot water heater! I called Jay and he immediately came over to evaluate and he suggested we shut the water off to the heater to be safe (pretty much so my garage, tools and car weren't going to get flooded). The very next day he was over to install a new (and beautiful) hot water heater. He even included little insulators for the pipes to the walls!
I've always been so pleased with his services so much so that I've scheduled him to come back in a few weeks  to do a check-up on my AC unit to make sure it's good for the winter, replace my garbage disposal, replace the fixtures in the bathrooms, and re-pipe the fire pit! It's nice to have someone you can trust who is honest and reliable, even at all hours of the day (or. in some cases, night).

I recently bought a townhouse and needed some minor to medium water and AC work done. The problem was I work a lot and needed someone to do a lot of work without me being there.

The Cooling and Plumbing company worked with me the whole way. The gave me a fair quote for the work, never pushed any service or product on me. They suggested some work but were nice about me thinking it over.

We also had to coordinate with my HOA to shut the water off. We had a small window of time from 7 to 8 am to get the work done. They came they saw they conquered. Work was done, and looked beautiful.

They did a lot of maintenance on my AC(which now is very cold), and rebuilt my main water line with the emergency shut off.

They treated me very well and all I can say is I will be going to them in the future!

Wow...Jay Monday and Billy are awesome. Had an unexepected and unbudgeted water heater failure and got Jay's name from my handyman who is unable to work right now.

Jay got here as scheduled, was able to do the install within a couple of hours and  gave me an incredible deal. Awesome company that takes care of you. Was having cooling issues in part of my house that we purchased last year kitchen/ family room and my daughters room. They came out quoted me what needed to be done I said lets do it. They came out and was right on time and got to work. Added 2 returns and 2 new vents and replaced and fixed all the leaking and wrongs that were previously there. Before my Ac needed to be on 75 with blinds all closed and constantly running with fans blowing to the warmer side of the house just to try to keep the house Cool and couldn't keep up with outside temps only in 90's Now with the proper installed ventilation 78 and its Perfect all the time I have noticed less electric bill and quieter Ac inside and definitely the Ac is not working as hard as before even being over 100* all week. Also as for my daughters and hot side of the house is now cool and much better even with blinds open. They also fixed the annoying knocking in the walls from water pressure being to high added a part and cleaned up my front plumbing (even planned plumbing for water softener that we would like to install in the future)and haven't had any knocks or problems. Jay also had other recommendations to help with cooling the attic to help cool house which I trust him and we will be doing soon. I must say any plumbing, cooling, or gas needs in the future Cooling & Plumbing Co. will be my first call!!! Thanks Guys!!!

Was so glad to have been referred to Jay and his team after purchasing our new home.  Super personable and highly professional.

We just moved into a new home and decided to change our electric stove top over to LP Gas.  The neighborhood and home do not have city gas lines so we have two large tanks on the side of our house that supply the fireplaces and outdoor bbq with LP.  We wanted to add a line to our kitchen so we could upgrade to a gas range.  

A long time friend who works in plumbing recommended Jay so we gave him a call.  Jay was quick to call back and we got something set up for a couple days later.  He gave me a quote over the phone of $300 based on the description.  Jimbo and Bobby showed up on time, got to work and did a great job.  They cleaned up the space after they were done and explained some recommended upgrades we should have done to the gas tanks.  The things they recommended fell in line with what the inspector had said during the home buying process and so we had them come back out a few days later to get that done too.

Great company to work with.  Prompt, friendly, and responsible.  Keeping their number handy for future needs.
