Best Home Remodeling in Louisville KY
Mike and Charlie's Plumbing is truly a great company with genuine people. I feel like they're some of the few remaining companies that are honest, straight forward, and aren't in to sell unneeded services. You have an issue, they'll fix it. Looking for somebody to come up sell you on weird maintenance plans or services that you never knew you needed. Look else where. Dealing with Mike is like having my uncle come over and help me out. Except instead of beer, they take money.

It was a pleasure meeting Rick today. He responded quickly to fix a leaky faucet, was super polite, and the price was reasonable. I would definitely hire him again!

My basement flooded and I was referred a company by my insurance company. This company was trash. Sick Homes Solutions was the absolute remedy and am glad I found them. Jason and his team was super helpful in aiding me in combating the insurance company with pure policy. This helped me tremendously. I hired Sick Himes immediately and the mitigation, cleaning, repairs they did were not notch. I appreciate their selflessness and professionalism.

I reached out to John about a broken tub spout with diverter. I had bought the replacement but could not do it on my own after having shoulder surgery. I called and emailed several plumbers for quotes which were ridiculously high for such a simple job. Literally pulling one off and putting another on. John came out on a Saturday, at the end of his day, and switched it out in 15 minutes and did not charge me upwards of $200 like other handyman and plumbers we're quoting me. He's super friendly, very polite and truly a professional

pretty Bad service. Guys talk down women, jobs don't get finished and emails are never returned

Knowledge, expertise, customer service, honesty, integrity, and any form of professionalism are COMPLETELY void here. Company was contracted for bathroom remodel--$3200 worth of work done incorrectly, owner did not pull permits as discussed, caused damage to walls/ceiling/newly installed tile in adjacent rooms, allowed a worker to bring a child to job-site who was left unattended, child proceeded to walk the house with a knife cutting/destroying various items, once water was back on the improper installation resulted in flooding. ZERO accountability was taken by the owner who once informed of the issue just outright refused to accept a phone call, claimed he stopped by house and no one was home however, my wife works from home-was never away from her office with direct view of front driveway, then finally texting his refusal to correct work or refund invoice amount for correction of job. After two other BBB accredited plumbing companies inspected installation it was determined not only was work unpermitted, it was not done to code, completely useless and outright ILLEGAL. All work had to be ripped out and completely redone by another contractor, all parts for damage caused to bathtub had to be repurchased, owner left atleast a dozen parts that were not needed in the box resulting in a very dangerous installation for which he then denied completing yet made accusations that supplies were not present, and then would not correct, would not reimburse for in any way. Save yourself, hire someone... anyyyyyone... else.

If you are a Realtor do not use Tom Drexler to do your repairs. They will NOT put buyers name on paperwork and if there is a problem with any of the work after the closing the new buyer has no recourse because everything is in the previous seller's name. I've been putting the buyer's name on all my repairs for years and never have had a problem with a contractor, electrician or plumber doing this. We almost didn't have a closing because of this. Thank goodness the buyers and sellers were able to come to an agreement and we were able to close. They only backed up their work for 3 months. Find somebody else, they will be cheaper and you will not have this problem. I guess they don't want to stand behind their work, why else would they not want to do this simple task.

Got a free estimate. Did what they said they would at a fair price. The technicians were great friendly and safe. Came in under the estimate.

It's been over a year, but it was a nightmare hiring this company. I hired them to fix a piece if fascia (gutter board) that had come undone from my roof line. They just hammered it back in, bending aluminum all along the fascia. A month later I had to hire a company to fix their job. They also attempted A plumbing job which I was charged over a thousand fir bThey cut holes in the tile, new commode and then left. This was after they no showed me on the job several times. Guess what?? I still had the blockage and had to call a different contractor. Worst experience ever

Had a gas leak around dinner time. Called LG&E and they determined there were two gas leaks. Reynolds did come out that evening, around 7:30, and worked on repairing a gas leak on a pipe in the basement and another one on a stove burner. While the burner needed a part that would not be available until the following morning, they worked on the basement pipe until 9:30 pm. As it was late we told them it was perfectly fine to come back the following day with the part and complete the repair.
The following day they returned around 1:15 with the part, about a $200 piece that needed to be replaced. Finishing up with both repairs around 4:45, the total price for the job - about 5-6 hours over two days - was around $2k. Extremely expensive for a gas line (or any plumbing repairs), probably 2x the price taking into the timing of the job.
They were extremely nice, and did follow up on finding the part for the stove after multiple stores claimed they had it, but in fact did not. While it was nice to have the repairs done quickly, we certainly paid for it.

Showed up on time, did a good job, was efficient and reasonable on price. I would hire again. They have worked at our house 4 or 5 times and did a good job both inside and outside with roots in our pipes.

They came out to see our plumbing issue and said they would send me a quote that night (Wednesday). I didn't get anything that night or the next day, so I called on Friday to ask if they would send the quote and they said they have been very busy, which I told them I understood. I didn't get anything that night, and no phone call returned when I called the following week. I was going to hire them because I liked the one atop shop idea, but they never sent me the quote or contacted me again.
I understand your right to choose your jobs, but then why say I would see a quote that night in my email, or when I called, why would you tell me it was forgotten and I should see it by Friday? Also there was never any letter sent to me through the mail. Just be up front.
