Best Plumbing Repair in Baltimore MD
Took a little longer than expected to complete the job and he charged more, but it got done and Mike is a nice and respectful guy who kept me informed along the way. I would use him again!

I called Forster Plumbing because of the other great review on Yelp. The plumber came to look at a leaking furnace, malfunctioning toilet and leaky faucet at my rental property. He fixed all that AND looked at a problem with the stove! He was responsive and quick and very reasonably priced. I will certainly keep his number in my file! I wish I had found them years ago.

Sprio at Empire saved us this weekend. Our water heater went out on us and other services couldn't find a unit that would fix where the existing one was located. Spiro found a new unit that would fit, got it fast and installed it for us on a Saturday. Having hot water through the weekend in the middle of winter was a lifesaver. Thanks Spiro!

When I was searching for someone to do partial work on my basement project, I found Anthony online. When I met him he was very professional and friendly. When speaking to him and showing him my project he was very knowledgeable and new exactly what I needed for my basement project to get the job done and finished the work. He did the rough- in for my basement and it looks AWESOME!!! I would recommend Anthony to anyone who is looking for a great professional plumber and masonry repair worker. It is hard to find a really good person that is trustworthy, honest, knowledgeable, fair and someone who does not waist your time. I appreciate a hard worker and Anthony is just that!!!! He does ABSOLUTELY GREAT work!!!! Thanks a bunch.

I have used Best Mechanical, but never again. They are not reasonable in terms of price, parts have been faulty and I question their workmanship. On the last job, when I called them to fix a leak in a sewer ejector that they installed about 3 years ago, they charged me $275 for about 1/2 hour's time. I wasn't happy that the apparatus was already leaking, but to charge what equates to $550/hour is outrageous. I contacted an owner to complain about the bill, but was never able to reach him. I left 3-4 voice messages and I sent an email. I would not recommend using them.

Our new renters called one day to say that water was leaking from the bathtub overflow drain downstairs and through the vent. Since we live about an hour away I looked online to find several plumbers to call. Several never responded or had full mailboxes (one hasn't called back even though it's been over 24 hours). Chesapeake was willing to send someone out but when I started asking about the details of what the problem likely was, one of the staff explained the process, which sounded rather simple. I asked if this could be a do it yourself project and she responded yes (if you are handy). I really appreciated that they didn't steer me towards business to gain profit. So far we did try our own fix by replacing the gasket, and it seems to be working. If not, then I've reached my limit if what I personally would do without a plumber and will call them, as I appreciated their honesty before. I give 4 stars based on their helpful conversation - though I've not yet had anything serviced by them.

I have now used Jason twice to save me from clogged main sewer lines. The first time my toilet stopped flushing. You know that awful, pit in the stomach feeling you get when your plumbing stops working? I was so worried about what it was going to cost me, how long it was going to take to get someone out to my house, whether they would show up or not after I had taken the day off from work to be there. I got online and started my search. After about 6 phone calls, all ranging from quotes of minimum of $300 to we have to come out first to see the problem before we can quote a price I got Jason on the phone. First off, he answered the phone himself, that was the first biggie. Second he quoted me $75 right off the bat. No pre-inspection, no possible other charges tacked on. Straight forward price for service. We set up a date (it was within 2 days of my call) and then....he SHOWED UP when he said he would, did what he said he would do (my toilet flushes beautifully now) and charged exactly what he said he would charge....$75!!! I've used his services again on a rental property. Same thing, clogged sewer line. Only this time Jason couldn't come out because he had another job...so he sent me someone else!!! A great guy, professional, helpful, showed up when he said he would and charged me.....$75!!!! I will continue to call Jason first and use the services of his company. I am very grateful to have found him.

Stilwell put in a water heater January 2015. A gas leak was found by a profession about 9 days after the 1 yr warranty. We called Stilwell emergency line immediately, we never got a call back, we called them back in the morning and was told by a very nasty and sarcastic young lady that its out of warranty so they will charge us a full service fee to check it out ( the same fee they would charge a new customer). We had someone else come out and fix the gas leak (that was in two places!) And they also said there shouldn't be any rust on the top of the heater after one year. We then went to the BBB and after filing our complaint this is Stilwell's unprofessional response.....
Water Heater installed on 1/9/15. County inspector arrived 1/14/15 and passed work. Customer has a 90 day warranty with their home warranty company on said work. Complaint filed on 1/27/16. 9 months out of warranty. Even if we go by our warranty of 1 year which we don't have to but being the responsible company we are the customer is still 18 days out of warranty. So the question is how long should a company extend its warranty for, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year how about we all just live by what we agree to and take responsibilty for our
Addendum 2/19/16
This is Stiwell's unbelievably unprofessional response
'As i stated prior, this has nothing to do with us. Our warranty was over and we have no obligation to this customer at all.'
Be careful when you deal with this company's

Response time was good. Two other plumbers were giving next day as a response time.
Cost was ridiculous at $800 to come out and run a snake for a 90 minute job.
Usually go to Home Depot and do it myself for under $100. Circumstances at the time didn't warrant that.
Although they got the job done effectively would not use again.

We've had them out multiple times to fix sink clogs, leaks, hot water heaters, and they even put in a new waterline for us. Both the GM and the guys who do the work are extremely professional and make you feel like you're in good hands. It's a relief to know that I have a plumber I can count on to provide only the service I need at a reasonable price.
Could not recommend more highly.

Just was notified that the extra expense which was added to my bill for locating the part was refunded. They definitely care about the customer.

Had him come to pull a permit for a gas pressure test (inspection) and paid $350 for that.He came ,did a preliminary test and found the line was leaking, quoted me $3250 to do the repair of the gas line.I had it fixed for $500 using someone else.He then refused to pull the permit for the inspection and also refused to return my money so I disputed the charge with my cc and also placed a complaint with the MD board of plumbing.
Seems like a shabby individual to do business with ,try to avoid and use a real decent professional if you care about your money.

my ceiling collapse from a leak and after it was opened up I called perfect plumber to find the leak....you could see where there was wet marks around the pipes to bathroom above but he said no that's not it....charged me 175 and said watch the ceiling.
3 weeks later a worker carpenter looked up at same spot and said it was the vanity on floor above based on same water stains I pointed out...guess what it was a slow leak under the vanity...not recommending perfect plumber again. now I may not be able to get my home all repaired by Turkey day. although polite I am upset.

This company is a big scam. I should not have trusted Jeffrey Muncey and the owner. I paid for a project that was not completed.
Jeff Muncey locked my property and ran away with the keys without completing the project. I had to buy a new lock and pay a locksmith for a new installation. I paid upfront $750 to Valley View Handyman Services for nothing. They are not responding to phone calls or texts. This was a total nightmare but I'll make sure that justice will be served.
I have more details but hope this summary warns others so they can avoid similar cons.
