Took a little longer than expected to complete the job and he charged more, but it got done and Mike is a nice and respectful guy who kept me informed along the way. I would use him again!

Got connected to Nick at 9:30 am via a third party staffing site. He said he'd be at my home at 10:30 am but he arrived at 10:15 am. Completed the work promptly - drain cleaning and fixing pipe plumbing and so far, it's been completed correctly. I'd recommend Nick for your plumbing needs.

Excellent!
Arrived within an hour and price was reasonable, speedy to fix problem (a stuck sump pump after the biblical rains of the summer of 2011). I plucked this one from the yellow pages, and would recommend him.

I hired Empire Plumbing and Heating today to fix a plumbing issue at our PAPYRUS location located in the Towson Town Center. Not only were they fast to respond and fix our issue (it literally was less than 30 minutes from when I called them ) they were efficient and completed the job quickly and price was amazing. I would hire them again. I highly recommend them.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! You will not be disappointed.
Best mechanical lives up to their name; they really are the best. After years of dumping money into my house and dealing with terrible contractors and plumbers, Best Mechanical has been the answer to my prayers. Here's why:
1. This is a small, local, family owned business, which I always prefer to support.
2. Service is FAST. Even with the heat wave I was warned they were slammed and might have to wait a week for someone to come out, but someone made time to come in a day later.
3. Customer service is key. Brenda and Josh were a joy to speak with, always kept me updated on what was going on, and genuinely made me feel like they cared about what was going on at my house. Being in the military and trying to manage this property from the other side of the country is stressful, but they gave me piece of mind and I felt like they were worthy of my trust.
4. The price. I'm all about weighing cost vs worth. For me, what I paid to have my AC replaced was worth every penny. I trust best mechanical to advise me properly on the state of the unit and didn't feel they were trying to convince to buy a bunch if things I didn't need. I have gone back to them every time I needed something, from duct work to AC services and I have been 150% satisfied every time.

Had to call Chesapeake Plumbing because I had an issue with a different company that had previously come out to look at my problem with toilet leaking down into basement and created mold. Chesapeake plumbing came out same day that I called, were extremely friendly, found out that there was a much bigger issue than we originally thought (and I was so glad because I would have right back in the same boat if not) and they fixed the problem and were on their way. I was so impressed by how courteous and prompt they were. Even calling me to tell me they were on the way to the house.
I would definitely use them again.

Now that the house in question has been sold, I can feel free to publicly air this issue.
Jason Tart, the owner of Baltimore Sewer Service, is not licensed as a plumber, who does horrible work that causes damage to people's homes and health, and continues to get away with it.
I am speaking from a combination of personal experience and professional knowledge of the law, as well as familiarity with public records in Maryland. Everything I say is true and verifiable, and I will provide screenshots as evidence.
Tart has been repeatedly charged with and convicted of performing plumbing services without a license, in violation of Maryland Business Occupations and Professions 12-601, a misdemeanor carrying a penalty of up to 6 months' imprisonment per violation. He uses the Internet to lure unsuspecting customers to employ him for serious issues that he has no training to handle. Some, like myself, experience substantial damage to their property as a result. Others, like a couple I met in court, dealt with not only property damage but extreme health complications due to his misuse of chemicals on their sewer line.

In our case, Tart promised to provide us with a free video scope of our sewer line, which an earlier, honest and licensed plumber, had told us was not at fault, but rather that there had been a collapse on the part of Baltimore City's line in the middle of the road. We were lured in by this promise, the outstanding (apparently fake?) reviews, and his professional looking website.
When he arrived, he claimed that his result had contradicted our earlier scope of the sewer line. He promised to get the issue fixed for a price that was lower than the market rate. Thinking we were dealing with a licensed plumber with a good reputation, we agreed without getting a third opinion.
Rather than following appropriate protocol, getting permits or using heavy machinery to dig in our yard, as required by the work and the law, Tart hired a couple of day laborers to dig with hand shovels until they not only struck but actually broke our sewer line...but only after cutting into it in our basement and using a garden hose to supposedly try to flush it out - causing a small flood. Ultimately, he declared that, seeing with his own naked eyes rather than the seemingly fictional scope, that the blockage was over the property line and the responsibility of the city, in an effort to con us into continuing to entrust him. We didn't fall for it. My wife immediately demanded a return of all our money (which he provided), I found out that he was not licensed, and in fact had a history of working without a license, and filed a complaint with the plumbing board, to deal with the damage he had caused.
I eventually saw him in court and settled for less than I should've, rather than seeing him go to jail, because I figured he was potentially dangerous and I didn't want to try my luck while he knew where I lived.

Response time was good. Two other plumbers were giving next day as a response time.
Cost was ridiculous at $800 to come out and run a snake for a 90 minute job.
Usually go to Home Depot and do it myself for under $100. Circumstances at the time didn't warrant that.
Although they got the job done effectively would not use again.

We've had them out multiple times to fix sink clogs, leaks, hot water heaters, and they even put in a new waterline for us. Both the GM and the guys who do the work are extremely professional and make you feel like you're in good hands. It's a relief to know that I have a plumber I can count on to provide only the service I need at a reasonable price.
Could not recommend more highly.

Have known for awhile that my main sewer line was probably going to need to be replaced. I've had an insurance type policy through BGE Home to help cut the cost when the time came and had an estimate from them for the job. I decided to call around to compare and just get a few more quotes and opinions. Abbott's initially came out and said there would be a fee to video the line before they could give an estimate so I apologized for the misunderstanding and said I wasn't going to get the estimate. That was on the weekend.
First thing Monday morning, the manager from Abbott's called and said he had gone through the weekend calls and realized there had been a mistake and I was told that in error. They absolutely were not charging me to video the line to diagnose and give an estimate. He said he still wanted a chance at my business and offered to send someone out that day to give me the estimate. Right then I felt that the customer service was already top notch! I was impressed that they cared enough to pursue me as a customer and correct the miscommunication over the weekend.
Richard came out and spent a few hours videoing the line and reviewing all of the options with me. To make a long story short, I spent the next several hours calling him back with question after question. I was upfront with them about my policy with BGE Home and my inclination to use them to take advantage of that policy.
In the end, Abbott's matched the price for the trenchless replacement offered through BGE with my policy (which was an incredible match!!!!!), came out the NEXT day to complete the job, arrived on time, and warranty their work for LIFE. Even BGE Home said they understood why I had to go with Abbott's!
Richard, Vince, Pat and the rest of the crew who completed the work were all outstanding. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly patient with this crazy lady who asked a thousand questions about the replacement. I feel confident the job was done correctly, it was inspected by the county, and it is one less thing I have to worry about now! Great customer service

This company is a big scam. I should not have trusted Jeffrey Muncey and the owner. I paid for a project that was not completed.
Jeff Muncey locked my property and ran away with the keys without completing the project. I had to buy a new lock and pay a locksmith for a new installation. I paid upfront $750 to Valley View Handyman Services for nothing. They are not responding to phone calls or texts. This was a total nightmare but I'll make sure that justice will be served.
I have more details but hope this summary warns others so they can avoid similar cons.

I will never use this company again. This company lacks communication and lacks regard for urgent matters. They have drug their feet on services but when asked about it, constantly uses excuses such as we will look into it tomorrow or it is on the list to be taken care of tomorrow. To date, the company has been paid in full for the service (their requirement) but has not completed the work. If not completed by the end of this week, a refund will be requested for the uncompleted work. Type of work to be completed is a pressure test on the gas line. Also, beware pricing. They will rake up the pricing once starting the job. They charge approximately $150 per hour. Don't let them give you a basic quote just to get in the door. Good luck if you choose to use this sorry company!

Update: Wish I could give this company zero stars. Called the company today to complete the job. All they have to do is put the piping back together. When they came out in May/June to start the work I sat and watched the plumber take apart the piping as needed to do his job. Tonight a plumber came out to put the fittings back as they were but was hesitant since he wasn't the original plumber that started the job (a trait that all three plumbers expressly portrayed). He tried to tell me that they never took the pipe apart. I explained that I sat and watch the action take place. The plumber fought me on what I seen then stated he doesn't know because he wasn't there. What since does it make to fight fact with opinion when you have an eye witness as opposed to what you think will defend your company.
He then proceeded to tell me it would cost me in parts and labor until they figure out what happened. What since does this make. The man came out, seen the company's equipment attached to the my pipes, removed the attached equipment from the pipes and then stated that they didn't take off fittings... well how did your company's caps and gauge get on the pipes... Anyways, once the plumber stopped fighting me on the situation and admitting that it is his opinion, he proceeded out the door with the companies materials and told me his boss was in church and couldn't speak to anyone til morning. I called the office and they stated that the boss was on a job in New Jersey. Honestly, this leads me to question the integrity of the company. Why lie about something as small as that. If you'll lie about that then you lie about anything.
This company is crooked in the worse way but claim they are a Christian company. I believe that's a hoax to get business from those that rather patronize a Christian company.
When the man finally left he had the audacity to tell me that there are thousands of hungry kids out there and I'm worried about this. What does that have to do with anything.
When I spoke to the lady in the office, she informed me that the owner will call me Monday morning. So now I have to wait two three days to hear from him regarding this matter... no gas means no heat, hot water, cooking etc. and to make matters worse, I'm losing rental income. Clearly this company is a giant hoax and doesn't care about it's clients. If not resolved by Monday, I will get my lawyer involved. This is ridiculous.
