Jacob and Pipecraft Plumbing are top notch. Super responsive through the initial process of getting an estimate appointment setup, and kept me updated on changes in his schedule that actually allowed him to get on site earlier than planned! When he arrived I explained what I needed worked on to satisfy a recent home inspection for selling the house, and he got to work right away after giving me a quote that was incredibly reasonable and fair. Heck, it might be the first time I've had a contractor do a job where I've felt like I got the better end of the deal. Ya know those times when you have an ideal price for a job in mind? Well apparently Jacob is a mind reader too because his number matched mine exactly! Quick response time + incredible knowledge of his trade + no BS + the most fair pricing I've ever seen = everyone should call Jacob and Pipecraft Plumbing if they ever need a plumber.

I had an emergency situation in my basement and 5280 said their plumber would be out between 4-6. Vaughn called me and showed up early, masked, and ready to work. He did a bunch of diagnostic work to find the source of the problem (a leak in the basement) and continued to search for answers well after the usual tests. Unfortunately, we could not find the source, but I appreciate him doing his best to help. Vaughn is very insightful, helpful, and respectful. I will ask for him in the future for my plumbing needs!

I called Jays backflow, and requested a bid on my job and explained that Denver water turned off my water and he within minutes called Denver water to turn on my water! I was told by Denver water to send the names of two plumbers to have my backflow done to get my water turned on so i will comply. Even if I dont hire Jays service I will surely use them in the future as their customer service is #1 Dan K. with Home Again Furniture Inc.

TLDR: They responded in the middle of the night and saved the day for a great price.
On Thursday, May 11, during the ridiculous amount of rain, my basement's sump pump failed at about 9 - 11 PM (my husband happened to be downstairs, so we saw the water flowing from a windowless wall into the room that he was in almost as it happened).
Having had a sump pump fail before in a different house, I knew what was happening immediately. I called a neighbor and we began immediately trying to fix the sump pump and to clean the [visible] water. Luckily, my sump pump came to life with just a shake of the PVC pipe. Unluckily, it truly and finally died after one last hurrah.
After doing that, and realizing that the sump pump wasn't coming back, while watching the water level rise in the reservoir, my husband immediately started going down the list of plumbers on here that service / replace sump pumps.
Thankfully Patrick was the first to respond. Not only did he make quick work replacing the sump pump, but he was friendly about it too. He had worked through the night helping other customers and I was fortunate to get him before I had any more problems.
If you have a plumbing need, you should definitely check them out. Even in the middle of the night, they'll provide service as fast as they can and for a great price.

Had what I thought was just a malfunctioning shut off valve for my basement bathroom sink that was leaking. Based on a ton of great reviews, I called High 5 Plumbing, explained the issue and made an appointment for the next day. Jeff Long from High 5 arrived to survey the problem. He determined that he needed to get a better look at what was going on before proceeding with even an estimate, much less starting the work -- good thing! Turns out the old pipe inside the wall was completely corroded and had been leaking too. Needing to shut off the water supply to the house to do the work, Jeff also discovered that the main shut off valve to the house (60+ years old and located in the crawl space beneath the house) was malfunctioning too which could have been a disaster if I had a big water emergency and needed to use it. Long story short, Jeff removed and replaced the old corroded bathroom pipe, sink shut off valve and the main shut off value in the crawl space. Since he was there, I also asked him to change-out the 80's brass colored sink and tub fixtures with simple, but modernized chrome fixtures. A much bigger job than I anticipated, but totally worth it. Jeff was thorough and methodical, making sure all the fittings were secure and working absolutely perfectly; he was extremely neat and tidy, and extremely professional and courteous. I opted to buy a club membership for discounted services for a year because I'll definitely be calling High 5 for all my plumbing needs from now on -- having a home built in 1953, I will have the need. After experimenting with other companies over the years and never finding anyone in whom I had complete confidence, I now have peace of mind -- I have my go to plumber!

This is the first and only negative review I've given- please read below and you'll understand.
-In 2015 Drain Genius did work on my sewer. I selected them because they were cost effective (really wish I would have paid more to work with a better company as you can guess) and because they gave a 5 year warranty (they didn't live up to as you'll see.
-In Feb of 2018 I notified Drain Genius there was a problem. After 1 month they responded and said they would fix it quickly
-They would go months at a time with no response, only to follow up with something like we'll get to you very soon
-In November of 2019 I posted a bad review and that was the only time they immediately responded. They said if I took my review down they'd fix the problem right away. I did, but.....
-Fast forward almost 2 years and the sewer is still not fixed.
-I've pretty much given up on the fix and going to have to pay another company to make the repair. So the only goal of my review is as a word of warning so no one makes the same mistake I did

We moved into a rental property and were only here 3 days when the shower started to leak to the downstairs. Robert was immediately able to identify and address the issue. He was right on time, quick, efficient and professional. He was in and out with the problem fixed in about 30 minutes. Thanks so much!

Juan was wonderful! He took the time to explain what he was doing. He was very thorough while he was here. It's obvious they take pride in their work and put the customer first. They ensured our toilet was functioning correctly, took pictures of our piping and cleaned out our pipes. We will definitely use them for any future plumbing needs!

Had a problem with the Guest bathroom toilet which had been in place for several years allowing sewer gas smell into the room occasionally. Called several plumbing contractors but after talking to James on the phone, checking reviews, and his BBB status decided to give him a try. Could not have been more pleased. He was prompt, reasonable priced, and a real pleasure to deal with. He not only fixed the problem but found a couple of other minor problems and fixed them as well. I've found another favorite sub and will certainly use him again for any future plumbing issues.

Came out on short notice on a Saturday after my faucet replacement project revealed some bigger problems. Gave me a cheap option to fix it myself that might last a couple of years or two options for him to repair - one a low budget, short-term solution or one a permanent fix. We opted for the permanent fix and it was all done the same day. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately, my experience with Southside Plumbing was not great. Maybe it was just an off day for them? I had Mark and his journeyman come out to replace my water heater. The quality of the work done was sub-par. The water heater was installed partially over the basement drain - problem #1. To compensate, they put a rock from my garden underneath the water heater as a shim - problem #2. Of course, a rock was never meant to be used as a shim, so it pops loose almost as soon as they leave. This caused the water heater to become unstable...I could literally rock the water heater from side-to-side - problem #3. In addition, the gas connection had a leak that their own equipment didn't detect, but my nose and the bubble test certainly could - huge problem #4. I called them and Mark sent back his journeyman to fix the issues. I hate to leave a negative review for a local business, but the gas issue especially is concerning because their own detector did not detect the leak. It was only after I double-checked their work that I noticed this potentially very dangerous issue.
Positives: they are locally-owned. They were on-time and more affordable than the big Denver-area chains.

Rome and Luther are just the kind of professionals you hope to luck into. Honest, friendly, willing to do go above and beyond in a way that's far from the norm.

This company put in a reversed osmosis system that I purchased from Amazon which was an overall good experience. I had a problem with my furnace which was a different experience. The cost was very pricey, they took a fair amount of time, as they charged based on time, unlike the reversed osmosis install was based on the job. Parts were way overpriced compared to Home Depot, Amazon, All parts.com. Service techs were polite and friendly and had good advice but they are were expensive.
