Best Gas Furnace Installation in Houston TX
Can't complain too much with my experience. They were prompt to respond, informative. Professional. And had my issue fixed in a reasonable amount of time. Was a little more than I wanted to spend because I had to buy a part and it required two separate service appointments. Wish the price was a tad cheaper-- having moved from out of state I notice a lot of services like this tend to overcharge. But overall wasn't too bad of an experience and would probably use them again in the future if needed.

I had 6 responses to my query about an inside wooden door not latching..
Richard from Patriot Services. was the first to respond and was available within 24 hours.
The quoted price from Richard was amongst the more reasonable ones.
He arrived timely and corrected the latching problem in a jiffy.
He also gave me reasonable quotes for other tasks I asked him about.
He tells me that he is licensed in HVAC, Electrical and plumbing.
He also does Remodelling.
I will call upon him again, when needed.

We hired Katy Plumbing to help us fix a leaky sink in our kitchen. Turns out the garbage disposal was leaking and needed to be replaced. It was replaced with a brand new unit that's so quiet my wife and I can barely hear it work! Later, we found there'd been some kind of drain clog and Katy Plumbing sent out a new plumber to take care of it at no charge even though he was here for almost two hours. It was great service. Thank you.

Hired Budget Home Services to fix some leaky faucets, dripping toilets, and advise on other plumbing issues. Casey was super responsive over the phone, and Jose the tech was incredibly professional and courteous. Repairs were made very quick, and I was very happy with the end result. It felt a little pricey, but I admit I am not super experienced when it comes to pricing on plumbing repair. They were willing to work with me on the price, which I appreciate. Overall, I will definitely use them again for the simple fact that they do great business.

Do not accept any quote abacus gives you at face value.
Normally I don't know what things are worth, but when your parents are electrical engineers, asking $6000 to run a single circuit doesn't pass the smell test.
Got it done for $1500 from another company that did a wonderful job.
I complained to Abacus about their abusive, borderline insane pricing and they didn't care.

IF YOU ARE READING THIS THEN DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST BEFORE YOU GET TRICKED BY THIS COMPANY!!! My mom was the one who hired this company as she needed her shower valves inspected. She searched google for a plumbing company and they popped up first. On google they have a 4.3/5 rating, but on here their rating is 3/5, which is a significant difference. After they did their inspection, the technician provided the estimate of $1,175.00 to install a new one or $748 to repair it. Mind you there were no SPECIFIC DETAILS ON THE ESTIMATE PAPERWORK which should be stated on there already! She was informed the cost was higher due to the fact they had to cut out the wall and do a lot of other what they call necessary things in order to get to the pipes and fix them. They even told my mom this price is based on the project itself, it doesn't matter if the technician takes 5 minutes or 5 hours to do the project, the price is going to be the same. LIKE WHAT?! That doesn't make sense. It wasn't until my mom received the estimate that she decided to compare that price with other companies and come to find out this company was charging her WAY TOO MUCH!!! She ended up losing $60 for the estimate fee or deductible fee or whatever they want to call this charge and instead chose a different yet HONEST company to complete the job WITHOUT ANY WALLS NEEDING TO BE CUT OUT!!! FYI my mom is an Asian 60ish y/o lady that doesn't speak English very well, which is why I am speaking on her behalf. But I just think it is a shame that this company is okay with taking advantage of others. Just look at all the bad reviews others had to say about them.

We had a new AC unit installed during a promotion where we also got a new furnace. The work was handled professionally. One small beef is that a year after our purchase we received a letter from Weeks alerting us to the fact that some warranties aren't honored if the units have not been serviced annually and the owner must provide proof - offering us an annual service contract with them. After carefully reading our warranty, and finding no such language, I called the warranty company to clarify. They at first told me that it wasn't true, but upon looking up the serial number of our registered unit, said that for that particular model, it is in fact required that the units be serviced annually, and proof would be required for warranty compliance. It had to be serviced by the installer- Weeks - to qualify. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I think that Weeks should have been up front when we purchased the unit that we were married to them for the life of the warranty. Their service was and has been fine, but this all seems deliberately deceptive. Especially that our brand new HVAC system has no warranty from the manufacturer unless Weeks , and only Weeks, does the service...

I chose 1-800-Plumber because of the Yelp reviews - and they managed to exceed all my expectations. My lawn guy told me a pipe was leaking badly on the outside of my house and showed it to me. I didn't even know what the pipe was for. I called their office on Sunday afternoon, a pleasant and helpful person answered the phone, took my information, told me she would have to confirm with her boss that I was in their area and she would call me back. She called me back in less than hour, told me they could be there Monday between 2 and 4 pm and they would call before they came. Monday came and I got stuck in a meeting until a little after noon; I called them to see if I missed their call; she checked with the plumber, he said no, but would be at my house at 1 pm. He was at my house promptly at 1 pm. He was friendly, helpful and courteous; patient with all my questions (it turns out it was the main water supply to my house!); told me exactly what needed to be done, how long it would take and how much it was (which was extremely reasonable). He did the job neatly, explained and showed me everything he did and made me feel like I made a good decision in picking them. I can't recommend them highly enough (and wish to high heaven I knew about them when I was remodeling my bathroom). They are now in my contacts under Plumbing and will happily recommend them to my neighbors!
