Best Furniture Repair in Honolulu HI

Ben was prompt and professional! Replaced two old and rotted entry doors .  He also disposed the old doors. Excellent workmanship.

I wish I could give Kama'aina Handyman 20 stars! First off, during this time of uncertainty, they were prompt, efficient, and so patient and kind. I originally emailed about a list of projects and Tiarre (sorry if I misspelled her name) immediately called me back. She is a gem and really easy to work with and took her time to really understand my needs. Literally the next day Joe was at my place going over the list and taking pictures to provide the most accurate quote. They worked around my remodel and work schedules. As it started getting closer to my move in date, my list of projects I needed help with grew and they happily accommodated my needs. Also on the flip side, when I experienced some delays that took away some jobs, they were very flexible. I felt that their prices were extremely reasonable for the quality of work done, and the level of skill of the team. I will most definitely use this company again, and I HIGHLY recommend you do the same! Thank you Joe, Martin, and the rest of the team!!! Also for your reference are the list of some of the projects completed for reference:
-updated all my outlets and light switched
-wall mounted TV and sound bar to cinderblock walls
-mounted 12k BTU AC to the top of jelousie window.
-mounted mirror to cinderblock wall
-mounted shelfs to shower walls
-wall mounted entryway storage
-installed safety latches on front door and sliding glass door
-changed front door knobs
-wall mount shower curtain bar and grab bar
-installed smoke alarms
(I'm pretty sure there's more I'm forgetting)

William, from William's Services, was prompt to respond to my request for help. Within 24 hours after contacting William, he scheduled a next day appointment to help with a TV removal/installation/mounting project. William completed the job with both great skill and care, all for a very reasonable price.  Not living in Honolulu year round makes it difficult to find an honest, reliable and competent handyman.  I'm extremely fortunate to have found  William and will most definitely hire him again for future projects.  I highly recommend William's Services for any household or business projects requiring a handyman! Thank you William!

Frank service is impeccable. He came on time he was well prepared he took care of the repair as if it was his own. I was very impressed. I've had some nightmare experiences with  Handyman before. I will be recommending Frank to all of my friends and business associates.

Both the technician who serviced us and the manager called to follow up the next day, in large part to our Yelp review below.

The manager informed me that the technician selected the wrong item from their services list and thus, the charge was higher than it should have been. No problem, the technician could have been just starting on the job. Everyone makes mistakes.

We discussed and settled the issue with a price which was agreeable to both parties. We received a refund check for the difference in less than a week. Thank you!

Both the technician and the manager took the time to listen to my comments and concerns. They were very easy to work with and professional. It seems that Handy Andy Hawaii is very concerned about providing excellent customer satisfaction and also listening to feedback on how to improve their business processes (as they are a relatively young company). Kudos for this approach, you're on the right track to success with this.

Now that the price was in line with expectations, I'll add back the 2 stars plus a half star for the change in appointment times. That leaves a revised rating of 4.5 stars.

Late and Expensive.

Originally scheduled a toilet valve repair for 12-2 pm. Then it got moved to 4-6 pm. Then work finally started around 715 pm. Company did communicate all schedule changes successfully.

Valve replacement took less than 1 hour and cost nearly XXX. Their minimum service fee is a fixed charge which does not go toward any costs in the job as a minimum. Instead, it is added to the cost of the job. Replacement of valve and flapper only. What could I do, I needed it fixed.

Worker courteous and did the job successfully. No problems with the work so far.

Recommend a full quote prior to the worker coming out so you don't get sticker shock.

5 stars for the job getting done, minus 1 star for lateness, minus 2 stars for sticker shock price. On my value scale, it's a 2 star value vs price.

Will look elsewhere next time. I'm pretty sure I can find another company to do the job for 2/3 of the price I was charged for this type of small job and be on time.
