I love fixing problems and the immediate satisfaction customers give me for work well done. I am a Master Plumber. I am also certified to work on furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, interior gas lines, instantaneous water heaters, dye testing and backflow testing. I have over 12000 documented work hours as a Plumber in the Pittsburgh Area. I provide plumbing, heating, cooling, backflow testing, water heater installation and repair. I work on boilers-- both steam and hydronic. Do you need help in zone systems? No problem. I listen to your needs and propose solutions. I work with people who have immediate emergencies and who plan ahead. I love to explore and implement new solutions to fit your needs. I prefer to find out what the problem is and focus on solving it. If we need to replace the unit, we know for sure it will fix the problem. I was quoted $250-$350 for installation of a refrigerator water line. I was then charged $449 for the job which took only a half hour to complete. They came unprepared to drill through a tile floor and then charged me for purchase of a drill bit which they then decided to keep. I called to inquire about the increased price and was refused a breakdown of the bill while being belittled and talked down to like a child. Find someone else for your plumbing or heating needs.

Our furnace stopped working and was blowing cool air. Called John and he was at our house the same day, ordered the parts needed to fix it, and was back within a few days to make the repairs. John was amazing and we'll definitely be using him in the future!

I've used John and his team several times at my house and they've always done excellent work. Whether it was servicing the furnace and air conditioner, installing a vent in my basement, or replacing my furnace, they were always on time, professional, and just plain nice to deal with.

Most recently, I was attempting to change the hose bibb on the side of my house and ended up breaking the pipe. I put in an estimate request on the website and Gretchen called me back almost immediately. They had a plumber working in my neighborhood, Mike, and she dispatched him here right after his previous job. Mike was super friendly and had everything fixed within the hour.

In short, I highly recommend John and his team for all of your plumbing and HVAC needs.

I used them twice for two different jobs (replacing my furnace motor and then a maintenance/cleaning of my AC and furnace), and they were fantastic both times. They were competitively priced and super super responsive on the phone, and they showed up when they said they would. Will continue to use them for any plumbing or HVAC stuff I encounter in the future. 5.5/5 stars.

I used John Wilcox to have a Aprilaire humidifier replaced. When his crew came out to do the job they ran into an issue with my furnace which was completely separate from what they came for. They ended up fixing the issue with the furnace and installed the humidifier all for the originally quoted price despite all the extra time they spent at my house.They explained everything that was going on each step of the way. These two gentlemen were very professional and friendly. John Wilcox followed up two days later with a visit just to make sure everything was smooth and I was happy. Highly recommend this company.

We had a large backup in the basement drain so I called my usual plumber; he was on vacation but he recommended Wilcox. I called Wilcox and a day later they arrived, took care of the problem plus fixed a toilet that wasn't working properly. They arrived when they said they would and cleaned up when they were done. Very friendly and professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a shower issue and was given this plumber's name by a good friend. This company is absolutely amazing and efficient. I emailed them on a Sunday they called at 8:30 Monday morning and set an appointment for Tuesday. They came and replaced the part in 40 minutes before noon the next day. They are friendly and fair as well as honest

I called them bc hot air wasn't blowing in the house. Within 2 hours they got to the house and installed a new blower at a fair price. I would use them again as they were responsive and reliable.
