HISTORY

Established in 1973.
Norhio Plumbing, Inc. is a family-owned & operated plumbing business. Herman Bohinc has worked in the plumbing-heating-cooling industry since 1954. His sons, Michael and Gary, are both actively involved in the business. Gary is a licensed plumber who has worked for the company since 1983. Gary is certified by the State of Ohio to install & test fire sprinkler systems and to test back flow prevention devices. Gary is the COO and runs the day-to-day operations of the company. Michael is a CPA and serves as the company's CFO. Norhio is an award-winning full service plumbing contractor serving the needs of the Greater Cleveland area. We service hot water tanks, furnaces, clogged drains, sump pumps and plumbing fixtures. We install & repair sanitary sewer lines, gas lines, water lines and septic systems. We are experienced in excavation as well. We are licensed, bonded & insured. We are members of the PHCC (industry trade assoc.) and local chambers of commerce.

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

Herman is licensed by the State of Ohio in plumbing, hydronics and HVAC. He is also state-certified in fire sprinklers and backflow prevention. He has served in a number of leadership positions during his career including as President of the PHCC of Ohio (1991-1992) and as the Chairman of the Plumbing Section of the Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board (OCILB) since 1994.

Herman is also a state-certified backflow prevention instructor and has been teaching backflow prevention for the last 27 years. He continues to receive very high marks as an instructor and his students' scores and pass rates are among the highest in the state.

Herman has won numerous awards for his tireless efforts and work in promoting the industry through the years. He is the only 2-time winner of the PHCC's Contractor of the Year Award (1989 & 2010) AND Contractor Service Award (1995 & 2001). He and his wife have also contributed to a number of charitable causes in NE Ohio focusing on helping chidren.

Tried to charge my wife $400 to fit a fawcett in the kitchen! She questioned it, and the estimate immediately dropped to $200!!
She said no thanks because it seemed suspicious that the estimate could suddenly be cut in half. They then charged her $59 Service Call charge. I have the invoice here - INCREDIBLE. What Service.....
Pity some poor old lady who doesnt challenge such an estimate.
Needless to say I do NOT recommend these people.
Oh, and they sent 2 people for such a simple job, which I ended up doing myself in about 45 minutes.

Very expensive and would not itemize the bill. I am a landlord and relied on my tenant to select this company. I was told that the items I was quoted the service person did not actually perform. Called to discuss and basically was told there was nothing they could do for me.
